(Rebecca Storm POV)
"FIRE!"
A wave of attacks was fired from the heavy artillery. Over a hundred thousand mana-infused attacks were launched at the enemy camp.
The demons noticed the distortion caused by mana in the atmosphere. However, their reaction was too late and thousands died during that first barrage.
Usually, an army of 100 000 wouldn't be able to arrive at the enemy camp unnoticed, but they had an SS rank helping them.
This person's name was Terrance Shard. He was also one of the 20 Rulers, ranked 14. People called him the Phantom.
His epithet was given to him because of his exceptional use of illusions. His ability was used to hide the entire army. Only S ranks and above would be able to see through it, but that's only if they are on the lookout in that specific direction.
That action left him drained and out of commission for this battle. He didn't have much mana left, so he retreated further, away from the war.
I scouted the battlefield searching for opposing S ranks that would attempt to obstruct our attack. It didn't take long.
I found an S rank demon attempting to destroy the left flank. But before I could do anything, Mattew dashed forward, electricity coming from his body.
To others, it may have seemed like he teleported. He arrived in front of the demon and slammed him with his fist. The demon was barely to react to his blow.
Mattew had the electric or electromagnetism attribute. This was another rare attribute. It was considered to be one of the best attributes one could have. Users of this attribute were highly versatile and they were challenging to defeat in battle.
Mages with the electromagnetism attribute could control electric and magnet fields, manipulate charged particles and control current. Though most users only specialised in one of these fields and trying to master all of them is a futile effort.
Mattew used electrical current to improve his body by increasing the speed his brain processes information and enhances his muscles. In conjunction with enhancing and reinforcing himself with mana made his body extremely durable while also being ridiculously fast.

Each of his punches held immense force behind them because of his speed and martial arts skill, he could overwhelm most opponents exceptionally quickly.
The demon attempted to draw Mattew away from the camp, as the aftershocks of the clashes would result in many nearby casualties.
S ranks were immensely destructive and if they went all-out, they would leave behind a wake of destruction on their path, spanning hundreds of kilometres. That's why they usually fought separately from the rest of the army to minimise the damage.
I kept one eye on the battle between Mattew and demon while focusing on the rest of the battlefield, waiting for the next S rank to make their move.

(Matthew Ryans POV)
*BOOM!*
A powerful shockwave was released from the collision of my fist and the demon's war hammer. Though most nearby had evacuated, hundreds of demons were still sent flying from the attack.
The demon attempted to attack me from the left, but I just blinked behind him and elbowed him on his back. He collapsed on the floor, coughing up blood.
'He's too weak. How boring. I'll just finish him off.'
He scrambled, attempting to get up and stand. However, his efforts were futile. In my previous attack, I hit his spine and used electricity to mess up his nervous system.
Though it wouldn't paralyse an S rank like him, he still would be unable to move his body temporarily. But it was all I needed to be able to use my technique.
"{Ionizing Injection}."
I built up millions of volts of electricity in my first. Then at a speed that the demon couldn't comprehend, I struck his gut with my fist.
All the electricity built up in my hand was injected into the demon, with many amperes of current flowing through him.
This was a devasting technique and was extremely painful to whoever was hit by it. It was like being strapped to an electric chair but thousands of times more powerful.
However, most S ranks could easily find a way to counter electricity flowing through them. The easiest way would be to separate themselves from the user and disperse the rest of the current in the atmosphere.
However, the electricity I injected into him had another special property. Not only does the charge flow through the person, but it also knocks the electrons off the particles that make up his body.
His body would undergo spontaneous chemical reactions that it wasn't supposed to happen, turning their internal organs to mush.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The demon shrieked from the pain. He was unable to do anything to save his organs from turning into soup. It was a brutal technique I create to use against the demons after they took my daughter's life. It was supposed to torture the enemy before they died.
The nearby demons were shocked at seeing the state of the S rank. Combined with his shriek that sounded like a young child crying, the demon's morale immediately dropped.
Some of them dropped their weapons and accepted their fate. Seeing the state of the demon army, the other S rank demons immediately appeared to boost the morale.
"Finally... maybe I can have a challenge."
Electricity started flowing through my body as I readied myself to wipe them all out.
