(Julius Argenti POV)
Howard Rhodes and Mia Park were two people I knew very well in my past life. We grew up in the same neighbourhood and all went to the same schools. We three were always together.
When one of us caused some mayhem the other two's fingerprints could be found. We had a lot of fun together. Those two were also in the classroom when the explosion occurred, so they died with me.
I had low hopes of finding out if there were reincarnates since the world was so big and there were no previous cases I found from the research I did. After releasing that Amina wasn't a reincarnate, I subconsciously wrote off my previous classmates.
However, now they were in front of me. But, I was still unsure that it was still actually them. If I walked up to them asking about being reincarnated and they denied knowing me, I would never live to see the end of it. It would destroy my school life.
Although I was 90% sure I was correct in my assumption. Even so, I'm going to put off that conversation till I collected more information.
For now, that teacher finally was able to finish marking the roll.
"Well, that was interesting. Though each year we get famous names, three in one class is very unusual. Anyhow, with that out of the way, welcome to class 1A. Though to burst your bubble, most of you won't be in this class by end of this month. The completion is harsh and you must surpass everyone else to be able to stay here."
In most of the students' hearts, a burning desire to be the strongest was lit. I had to give credit to the teacher. With two sentences, she motivated the entire class. But I still expected over half the students here to be dropped when the monthly reshuffle came around.
"Now that I've marked the roll, I'll introduce myself. I'm Sarah Rumbles and I am going to be the teacher for class 1A. I may be teaching you for a month or multiple years, that depends on you."
At Central High, teachers who taught the mage course were assigned to a cohort until they graduated.
Mrs Rumbles then pulled a large box from under her desk. She cut it open with her hands revealing what was inside.
"These are your timetables and notebooks. Don't lose them, it's going to be a hassle to replace them."

After handing out our notebooks to each of us, I checked my timetable.
Though our classes changed every month, the classes that taught basic high schools subjects such as Maths and English were fixed. You were stuck with the same class for the entire year.
On the timetable, there were empty slots where one could choose mandatory electives. Because I was Amina's 'attendant' we were in the same class.
Though it seems that nobody knows that I backdoored my way into school and am being treated as a regular student.
"Class, 1A you don't have any other classes today, so follow me to the training yard. You can explore the school in your own time."
We followed Mrs Rumbles to a massive field. It had many sections such as a sparring area, an archery range, training dolls and more.
There were other classes who got here before us. They were standing around and chatting holding their weapons. As soon as they soon they saw us, class 1A, they immediately approached us. Though they didn't get very far as Mrs Rumbles scared them away with her {Haki}.
"Ok, class go to the storage area to get a weapon if you don't have one. If you already do, collected them from your lockers."
Amina and I had personalised weapons as did most of class 1A. Most of us had big backing that ordinary citizens wouldn't want to mess with.
After 5 minutes of waiting, approximately 1000 students were in the yard, watching a podium. The students seemed to be from 1A to 40A, the best of the best.
On the podium was an old man. His hair was turning white and he had wrinkles on his body. Despite his age, his back was straight and he was standing tall.
Everyone here knew who this man was. He was one of the former 20 Rulers, the Planetary Destroyer, Trevor Wells. He was a former SS rank mage (now S rank).
He got that name for the immense power he processed. Though he didn't use any attributed magic, he used his oscillation mana property to create powerful vibrations that shook the earth. It was an ability that spanned a massive area and could destroy the entire continent if he used enough mana.
(An: Yes, his power is the same as Whitebeard. But he uses it in more ways than what's shown in One Piece.)
"Welcome to Central High School. You probably already know who I am, but I'll say it for those who don't; I am Trevor Wells, the principal of this school. The reason we have gathered you here is to test your ability."
"There will be teachers watching you and analysing your performance, so train your hardest. Depending on your rating, you may be dropped or rise. You may use this entire area and train however you want. If you want to spar, you must do it on the courts. You will be punished if you don't. If you want to take a break, you can watch the matches as well. Now go and show us what you can do."
Everyone rushed around, seeing all the different facilities we could train in. They were all in awe of the quality of the facilities of the schools. They were unlike anything they'd seen before.
Most nobles wouldn't be able to get a hold of these facilities. They were all the latest, military-grade, state-of-the-art facilities.
I thought I had a good grasp on the basics, so I went to the training dolls to train my sword skills.
They were the weakest point in my combat style. I was also interested in what these training dolls could do besides being made of magical metal.
