Something glowed below me, I stared at the glowing object. It was the broken cutlass, enveloped by a crimson flame. The color of red, yellow and orange flickered letting out a glow that was dazzling. The flame was brushing on my hand, but I wasn't hurt. I touched the blade, my hand wasn't burnt...

I attacked the confused knight, he tried to parry my slash, but like a hot knife, through butter, it cut through the dagger. I can see the surprise on his face as it did that.

Next, I slashed upwards to his torso, sparks fly as my sword cut into his armor. The area where I had hit melted the armor and his flesh burned to a crisp cauterizing the wound, that it didn't even let a single drop of blood drip out.

With the smell of burnt flesh, the knight lifelessly fell before me.

My feet finally gave way and I sat on the ground. Holding onto the broken cutlass that was glowing so radiantly, my head started to hurt and my vision blurs.
