I woke up inside the children's condominium. This became a daily occurrence, where I was greeted by them when I get up from bed.

I like sleeping here more than in the other condominiums because I've made this the most modern out of the six. It isn't like the five are lacking in amenities. Also, the other condominiums are packed full of people who helped with the retaking, but their stay is only temporary.

Some even said that they planned to settle here because the city now is like no other.

Now that the orc blockade is gone I'm expecting the old residents to come back to this city and also the passing of traders who must deliver much-needed supplies to the nearby cities. Since this is a valuable trade route surely a lot of people may traverse here.

Ordering people to make and do stuff is tiring, but it has its merits. It's like playing a Sims game IRL. I'm going to turn this into a great city, that will even leave the people in the capital in awe.

After a good day's work. The four of us returned here to teach the children how to cook, do laundry and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Then, we all bathe in the pool full of cute little loli's. I mean, sisters...

Then when I sleep. Sometimes one or two kids would sneak into my bed to sleep with me and rarely there are even five to six all at the same time. Waking up, surrounded by their cute sleeping faces is such a bliss. I hope that I won't go to jail because of this lol.

I've also made them call me "Onee-chan." When Mooly asked what it meant, she frowned and became jealous... Don't worry I will still be your older sis Mooly!

They still refer to themselves as sisters. Though I wish that they started using their names to address one another...

It gave me the idea to name this the Sisters building. Should I also call them the Misaka Network? {1}

As per the sister's request, I've made the magicians add wash basins in the bathroom because they wanted to wash their faces to refresh themselves. I too, wash my face every morning, so it is a necessity I think.

Oftentimes I imbue magic crystals at the pool. Where the children enjoy watching, I was able to concentrate properly because they were all silent. Up to the point that I find it scary, you'd literally hear nothing from them and you'd think that you were all by yourself in the pool if you just closed your eyes...

I left Mooly in charge of the children as I went off to instruct the magicians for the reconstruction.

Let's see... City Hall, check... Knights HQ, check... Market, check... Adventurers Guild, check... and Residential Area, check...

I still need to do more...

"How deep should we dig?"

The head magician interrupted me while I'm thinking.

"Fifteen or maybe twenty meters?" [Angelica]

"What do you need this huge hole for? Isn't it dangerous being near the city? Someone might fall here."

"No worries, you'll fill it using water magic after~" [Angelica]

"WHAT?!!!"

Every magician nearby who heard retorted to what I said.

"Is it that hard?" [Angelica]

"It's torture!!"

I know the feeling of energy depletion, that from it hurts like hell, but what are they complaining about? They are provided with energy potions and are also paid by the kingdom. They should be happy that they even have a job.

I originally planned on using this as a water source for the city, but then I remembered my magic crystals. Now that there is no need for water, I'll just turn this into a fishing ground instead.

It's located outside of the city and spans four hundred meters in a circular diameter.

Near it, is a tilled land for farming crops and grazing animals. Being near the water source, I figured it can somehow sustain the surrounding animals and crops, probably...

I also asked Maria, to create six windmills for the farmers to utilize. They were so huge that you can even see them from far away, which is nice and compliments the city's intricate design.

"School? What kind?" [Maria]

A word left my mouth as I was marveling at the city. Maria, who was beside me curiously questioned.

"Where people can learn swordsmanship and magic." [Angelica]

"That's great and all, but... how are you going to pay for the education and training Angelica?" [Maria]

"I was planning on using the money gained from the city's taxes to cover it." [Angelica]

"Mmn... that can work." [Maria]

After putting some thought into it Maria agreed with a nod. If she thinks it's okay then that's good.

Now I need to know how the trade system in this world works. To balance the taxes paid for the kingdom, the maintenance and the improvement of the city and also the salary/payment for the people who work here.

"The retaking of Suitan and Dalio was successful my liege." [Oscar]

"Father shouldn't have participated and he should've just left it to those peasants." [Walter]

"Also, it seems that the inventor had been tasked with rebuilding the city of Dalio." [Oscar]

"Dalio? Go-on." [Walter]

"It was magnificent my liege. They had homes stacked together called condominiums and there were towers that harness the wind to ground up crops and other stuff and th-" [Oscar]

Oscar, stopped when Walter glared at him. He feared that his liege doesn't want to hear any more of the inventor in his report.

After swallowing his saliva. He continued on with his other report.

"Also... the first princess and her personal knight were sighted at Dalio..." [Oscar]

"So she really is alive... what was she doing there?" [Walter]

"She was the one who commanded the forces who retook Dalio." [Oscar]

"She commanded them?! Why haven't I heard of this news earlier! It has already been three weeks since they started the retaking!!" [Walter]

So they were both aware... since when had they been in contact? Is this a plan to increase her fame and hand over the throne to her? Was this the reason why my father the king hadn't asked me for my support?

Also, he should've executed that knight of hers... have they both finally come to terms?

"Oscar." [Walter]

"Yes, my liege!" [Oscar]

"We're going to Dalio." [Walter]

"It will take us exactly three days to prepare." [Oscar]

"No, we'll leave at sunrise tomorrow." [Walter]

"As you command!" [Oscar]

A month has passed since the reconstruction process began and in that same month, Maria has taught me Novice Level, Earth Magic.

When I started to use the earth enchant, my kris became encased in stone. What's odd about it is there is no added weight even though it looked somewhat thick and heavy. I haven't got the time to test it out, because of the rebuilding effort...

Why is it always like this now, whenever I get a new enchant I cannot use it immediately. It's like being forced to wait for christmas before you can open your gift...

We've finished most of what is needed and the city can now be operated at a basic level, the population is still too low, so I've asked grandfather to withhold imposing taxes for now. Out of the ones who helped during the raid, only a few stayed behind and took up residence here.

Knights, who were free-lance signed up to join the Knights HQ. A few magicians who helped during reconstruction were employed at the School to teach magic. I've also asked grandfather to spread notice that we are in need of weapons instructors/specialists for the School.

Adventurers formed the bulk of the population after the retaking since most of the original residents have either died or have fled.

Once that the Adventurers Guild heard that a building was ready for them. They immediately dispatched some of their staff from the nearby cities and in just four days the Adventurers Guild was already giving out quests and rewards. Damn, they're fast...

Funny enough, some adventurers knew how to trade and took the opportunity to start their business here. From F.F.F. (Forging, Fishing, Farming) and some are educated enough to be suitable for accountants and staff for the City Hall.

You can say that in this place, you could live the american dream. I should probably change the city's name to murica lol.

The only real residents here are the sisters, there were a few people who returned once they heard that Dalio was under our control, expecting to go back to their old homes and was shocked to see that the city's whole landscape has been changed completely.

Now, only three condominiums have people residing within them, including the sisters building. The ones who helped with the retaking returned to their own respective city, or town or continued on with their adventuring or duties.

Michelle said that grandfather is coming to see the city with his guests and advisers. I took it upon myself to ask everyone to prepare for a feast to welcome him to our victory party. Even though we took Dalio last month, nobody was in a celebratory mood back then.

The day before the festival...

"Sister, please get the pot!"

"Coming!"

"Hey-hey, help me out with the confetti!"

"Sis, isn't that a bit too many?"

"What do you mean sister?"

The little one made a mountain of confetti and she still wants help with more... every last one of them was shuffling back and forth helping their fellow sisters that were close by.

I was leaning on the wall at the kitchen, watching the sisters merrily do the cooking and preparations. I am surprised that they know who they were talking to, despite calling one another as sister. Well, at least they are happy.

I was a little worried at first because there were some loners and it took some time before they opened up to us. I was scared that they might be left out by the other sisters. So every day I talked to them, bathed and played with them.

No, not that kind of bath and play what are you thinking of pervs...

Since then, they became popular with the other sisters and became friends. They praise them, for being able to be with their beloved onee-chan all the time. Saying stuff like...

"No fair, why does onee-chan only sleep and play with you."

"That means she's popular!"

"Then I'll do my best to become popular too!"

"Sis, teach us how to get closer to onee-chan!!"

Now I'm glad that they are all cooperating with one another.

I said to those whom I've helped, that if they ever see a fellow sister in need, they should go help. Like I did for them, to repay my kindness.

When I told them that the King was coming, they all became scared at first, was grandfather really that scary? Then I said to them, that it was the King who ordered for their rescue and funded the rebuilding of their home and they all suddenly became ecstatic knowing that.

A little girl asked me, why did it take so long for us to come.

I said a white lie, that we were fighting back the orcs the whole time and at last, we had retaken the cities.

I will make sure to take that lie with me to the grave...
