I went to see how they were and was surprised to know that they are all just children. All of them were girls, aged between 8-12th years old, they came from various races.

I asked Kate if they saw any boys. She told me that, they only kept the girls to be used as a breeding horse, till they are able to bear children for them... I asked her again what they fed to these kids while they were in captivity. Kate, said they are well fed with normal food according to most of the kids she rescued during her time of duty.

It was because the children are not used to eating some of the orcish food. To the orcs, if the children do not eat well, the chances of them surviving is slim. Thus they cannot reproduce much of their kind...

The boys, however... being unable to bear anything. Male children and infants are considered as a form of delicacy for the orcs... as they like the tender flesh and bones of other races. I'm getting flashbacks of that tent... and it makes my stomach churn.

Some children are obviously scared and others are in a state of shock.

Not only losing your parents and siblings at an early age but also losing them in a gruesome manner...

Everyone present is comforting the children. Handing out food, and clothing, calming and comforting them. These poor children...

I also see Mooly. Crying as she tries to help the kids, they almost have a similar situation. Maria and the other magicians were erecting buildings as temporary shelters.

"Seems like we'd have to rebuild this city completely." [Steven]

"It'll take some time though..." [Michelle]

"Mom, can we help these children?" [Mooly]

"We can, but they would still need to stand up for themselves..." [Michelle]

Michelle closed her eyes and begins contacting grandfather through telepathy.

We started rebuilding Dalio from the ground up. I had Steven, Michelle, and Kate as my advisers and also as my overseers.

While Blake, Maria, and Mooly are the common townspeople. Because civilians know what they needed best and I don't want to make something that isn't necessary or useful as that would only be a waste of resources.

With Michelle here. I can use her as a satellite phone to talk to grandfather and ask him for supplies and what I needed.

Four days after we retook Dalio. Sister has immediately given the order to rebuild.

First, she ordered all of the magicians to dig the whole area with earth magic. The excavated area is shaped like a huge cross, it had brick walls to its sides.

Then, she asked them to cover the top. The magicians quarreled with her, saying what was the point of making them dig if they were just to cover it up again.

She just said to them "Are you the architect? This is one of the first things that we needed to do!" With that, they all went silent.

After some time, they understood what she meant. She made them do that in order to make the ground flat and leveled. She then asked them to make a slightly elevated part as a walkway for pedestrians.

"Why did you make them dig?" [Blake]

"It's for the sewer system?" [Angelica]

"Sew-er?" [Mooly]

"Sorry. I can't follow what you said..." [Blake]

"It's a place where you get water and it also functions to pass human waste through and outside of the city." [Angelica]

"I still don't get it. If you were also going to pass waste through it, wouldn't that also make the water we get be contaminated?" [Blake]

"There is a channel that segregates clean water from the wastewater." [Angelica]

Well, I think this sewer thing is a great idea! Back in the village, whenever we need to do our thing, we just go into the forest and dig a hole. In Cagban, we have to give buckets to the people who collect the waste, who then disposes it out and away from the city.

Whenever people see the waste collectors cart, people generally steer away from it just to avoid smelling the foul odor as it passes each house and street.

The paved area is about four kilometers according to Dad and took almost a week to complete.

Mother, told me that grandfather is supplying the funds for the reconstruction, and grandfather's friend supplied the energy potions. I haven't seen grandfather yet, but I think that he is a nice person, since he likes to help out.

At the center, she ordered for a huge building to be built as a marketplace, complete with its own stalls and shops.

What surrounded it is the City Hall, Knight Headquarters, Adventurers Guild, and the Condominiums.

Sis guided me and a few people who were curious inside.

There were six buildings, each is about 300 meters long and 60 meters wide. The condominiums are all divided by a space of 50 meters.

At the condominium, there is an entrance at the center of the building, around it is stairs going up to the other floors located near the entrance, middle and farthest end of the building.

The rooms that can accommodate a family of six with a width of 10 meters and length of 20 meters, all had a small balcony and each floor has the same number of rooms.

In all, there are five floors, with the fifth floor as an empty space. At most, eighty families can be accommodated per condominium, that is twenty per floor. Sister, also said that it can be increased if they added some walls/partitions.

"What's the fifth floor for Angelica?" [Maria]

"It should be a place for drying laundry. Since I was having second thoughts about how the balconies would turn out, but it somehow came out alright. The people occupying it can decide for themselves on what to do." [Angelica]

Sister, even said that since the residential area is in one place, evacuations can be done quickly and with it being close to the knight headquarters, crimes can be lessened or eliminated. She thought of such a great thing.

The next morning, three carriages arrived, accompanied by knights. They stopped by the city hall.

"Captain, we've brought the children." [Knight]

"Thank you for being the escort. Have you got the list of names of the children?" [Kate]

"Yes, here it is ma'am." [Knight]

The knight made a salute to Kate and ordered his men to help the children get down the carriage.

They were children that were orphaned from the orc attack at Suitan...

The children looked clueless as they all got down, with their gaze being at one place to another.

"They've arrived?" [Angelica]

"So that they could all form bonds, as they all have the same experience, even with you Mooly." [Angelica]

(Sniff-sniff)

"Mooly?" [Angelica]

"I'm alright. Thank you, sis." [Mooly]

What my sister said is very nice that I lost control and tears left my eyes. Everyone that took me in is very caring and it made me happy.

I have once lost my trust towards humans because they mistreat and used my mother and father, but when I met Michelle and Steven it had all changed.

"Can you ask them to come?" [Angelica]

"Who?" [Mooly]

"The children here, so that they can meet the others." [Angelica]

"Okay!" [Mooly]

When they came, they were all huddled together. Some hid behind other children, a few clinging to others.

"Hello, how are you? My name is Angelica." [Angelica]

The children were wary of her, that even one hadn't replied.

"You all have the same pain of losing your family. It may be sudden, but I want all of you to get along, even this one here." [Angelica]

Sis put her hands on my shoulders, their gaze now fell on me. Then sister whispered in my ear "Go on Mooly." And pushed my back, I don't know what to say to them...

I see a little girl, clinging to her sister's skirt, her eyes turned to me confused seemingly looking for answers. They are still too young to understand...

"All of us have lost our family and may think that nobody understands the pain we've been going through. In truth, there are some, but there are also others who can. All of the children started to have tears welling up in their eyes.

"Everyone here is now your family. The girls in front, behind, and beside you, are your fellow sisters." [Angelica]

The children gathered around me and sister. I pat one head after the other and we gave each of them a hug.

When they calmed down. We proceeded to follow sister to a condominium, as we got inside she proclaimed "This is your new home!" This particular condominium is very different.

The first floor is an empty space, the second floor is a huge dining and kitchen area

The third had two huge pools that are three feet deep and a space for doing laundry. There are also some metallic-like things that are protruding from the wall.

I asked sister about it, she says that it was for taking a shower. When she showed us a demonstration, I can hear an (Owohhh) from the children.

She also said that one pool is for hot baths and the other for warm baths.

As sister finished her sentence, some of the kids immediately jumped into the pool and started playing, enjoying themselves, the others who were hesitant at first soon followed.

When they finished, all of them were shivering. They jumped in with their clothes on and they don't even have a spare...

"Come here, little one." [Angelica]

Sister told the one that sneezed, to come to her. She made the child sit on a chair and put a towel on her. Then, a flame covered the child's back.

"Eh? Eh?!!!"

"Get some water!"

The sitting child got startled when she saw the flame. Spreading panic onto the others.

"Wait! Look!!"

Sis was keeping her hands on the flame, both of them aren't hurt by the fire. This isn't new to me, since sis also does this for me, after each time I take a bath.

"It... doesn't hurt?"

"Wow!"

"Let me touch."

"Ohhh soo warm."

"Me too! Me-too!!"

"Easy, you'll all have something like this." [Angelica]

"Really?!"

"Really-really." [Angelica]

"Yaay!" [Children]

The children were all overjoyed to hear that. I felt really happy for them.

On the fourth floor. There were beds for all of the children and there is still space for a lot more, the beds are all separated by a meter apart.

There is also a bathroom here, bathtubs, and a ceramic-like chair with a hose on the side.

"What is this chair for?"

"It has water inside, is this a wash basin?"

"No-no-no. A toilet is NOT a place to wash your face in!" [Angelica]

That thing is a toilet? We all turned heads and looked at sis in puzzlement.

When sister first sat on the toilet seat. She showed a smile, like she was in heaven, with small tears forming in her eyes. I heard her whisper "Finally... civilization..." I wonder why she is like that?

Well, we are used to squatting down, and with the seat as support it will be easier I think...

"But how do you use it?"

As if being snapped out of it. Sister, returned to reality when asked by a child.

"Uhh... you do it like this. Just imagine that water comes out from this." [Angelica]

She held the hose with her left hand, there was a blue low-quality magic crystal on the end of the hose. When she used it, the hose spew water.

"You use this hose to wash, but be careful to not to turn it off so that you wouldn't flood the floors below." [Angelica]

Then, she points to the topmost part of the toilet.

"This will flush it down." [Angelica]

(Brrth)

"Hahaha it farted hahaha!" [Child]

"Hahahahah." [Everyone]

A small whirlpool formed and made a sound as it sucked the water down. The children played with the other toilets and enjoyed seeing the water flow down and disappear. Laughing each time it made the sound.

The fifth floor is the same as the other condominiums, an empty space.

"Now this ends our tour." [Angelica]

"Thanks, sis..." [Mooly]

"You're welcome Mooly." [Angelica]

Sister pats my head and I hug her in return.

"Umm... me too..."

A child tugs sis's skirt. She lifts the child up and rubs her face with theirs.

"Thank you, big sister!"

"Thank you, big sister, Mooly!"

"Ah?" [Mooly]

Sis leaned onto me and spoke.

"Heh, you now have small siblings Mooly. As the oldest one be sure to take care of them." [Angelica]

"Yes!" [Mooly]
