There was a sharp metallic ring and the inhibitor came off.

I took the magic inhibitor from whom they called Lynnette and chucked it to Matthew. He then hid it snugly in his bag.

"Umm... here is the clothing that you asked for..."

A maid walked inside with a bag in her arms.

"Eek?!" [Maid]

She almost dropped the clothes after seeing the "stains" I don't know if there were any on the floor though. So I raised my voice to snap her out of it.

I looked at them questionably.

"We only have maids and butlers working here, or would you prefer to wear armor instead?" [Lionel]

Just in case to not get him separated, I kept Matthew beside me and held his hand.

The place was dyed violet and in a mere second, our surroundings have changed.

They had only teleported us outside of the city. We are currently next to a mountain cliff overlooking the capital city of Herxheim.

When I turned to look at her. I saw her crying.

I have only noticed it when the moonlight shone on her. The clothes she was wearing were all ruffled and wet on what seemed to be like white liquid.

"The Emperor... he..." [Angelica]

I was very slow to pick up what she said, but it soon came to me that she may have just been...

"That bastard I am going to kill him!!" [Matthew]

Despite what she has been through, she was still able to show me her smile. The Empire is a very cruel place to be in and what the Emperor did to Angelica is really unforgivable!

"Matthew, I'll just wash and change clothes so can you stay here?" [Angelica]

Angelica took the maid uniform and walked away at an unsteady pace... I will not forgive them for what they had done to my mother and Angelica.

Now that I was away from Matthew I took off all my clothing. I could feel the disgusting liquid touching my skin as I took it off...

I used the water enchant on the cinquedea because I was too deprived of energy that even the water spell •Spout• is troublesome to use. I needed to conserve as much energy as I can in order for us to get as far away from here as possible.

Water flowed down the cinquedea's edge creating a mini shower...

I glanced to my right and saw a small tree with a couple of leaves on its branches. One by one I picked them off then rubbed the leaves on my skin over and over. They aren't exactly pleasant but I still kept on rubbing them.

Again... my eyes became clouded with tears as it started to fall from my face. This time, it is much more than before...

Why am I crying so much... nothing really bad happened so...

Then I felt pain on my thigh so I stared down. I was rubbing the leaves so hard against it, that it began to bleed, but... not only my thighs but my arms, hands, and chest too...

I kept on rubbing despite it hurting so much... It was as if no matter how hard I scrubbed, I still felt dirty all over...
