Three days after the attack. Angelica hasn't come to me for practice. I'm starting to get worried about her so I went to her house to check, I saw her outside, her back facing me. I shouted to get her attention.
"Angelica! Let's train!" [Blake]
When I got closer I noticed that she was holding a knife. After seeing me she looked at the knife again, this time with a sad face.
Was it because of the knight? Is it that traumatic for her? Crap! I better change the mood.
"A-Angelica e-even, if I dd-do, tease you, yo-you must t-think that way." [Blake]
I dropped my sword and quickly snatched the knife from her, she frowns at me without saying a word. Is she mad at me?
"I-I get it! I'll stop calling you names!" [Blake]
After hearing that her frown disappears, which really scared me.
Everything was fine after a month, she comes to practice, then she leaves in the afternoon. I wonder what she was doing. While I was walking around the village, Michelle saw me and asked if I wanted to have dinner with them, of course, I quickly agreed.
We all sat at a rectangular table I was beside Angelica and Michelle then Steven was on the other side. What a bliss I thought. It has been a long time since we have eaten together.

While we were eating Steven asked a question to Michelle, on something about missing knives. When they came to ask Angelica I looked at her doubtfully, after taking a sip of her soup. Suddenly I felt a sharp sensation on my foot.
"Yeh-ouch!!" [Blake]
"?!" [Steven/Michelle]
"Is that the wind? What knife mother, father?" [Angelica]
She stepped on my foot while acting like it was nothing. "Awwwwww!" What did I do?!
After dinner, I asked Angelica.
"What are you doing with all those knives?" [Blake]
"I'll tell if you can keep a secret." [Angelica]
"I've been your friend since we were kids! You should've at least had some trust in me right?!" [Blake]
"Okay then..." [Angelica]
Now our routine, after practicing with me in the morning, in the afternoon I watched Angelica practice her magic, it was quite different. I hadn't seen that kind of magic before. She told me that this is what she used to defeat the knight; using her magic she surrounds the knife with a hot flame, and it seems that she can touch it without getting hurt.
She then showed me a demonstration of its power by cutting a boulder instantly and effortlessly in half. I don't want to be on the receiving end of that...
Month after month she practiced until she can finally control it, now instead of the whole blade, she managed to only cover the edge. There wasn't any flame but the edge was glowing bright red, like when it was being forged. Angelica said that it was like a laser sword or something...
"That was amazing Angelica!" [Blake]
"Now what should I call this power?" [Angelica]
"Why not call it enchanting?" [Blake]
"That has a nice ring to it." [Angelica]
"Heheh." [Blake]
I applauded her, she was really amazing. I'm glad that she liked my suggestion.
Angelica tried to teach me how to invoke it, but as usual, I wasn't able to conjure any magic...
