The orcs have now stopped their stupid quarrel. It was only because another orc lord intervened, he probably said that they were getting killed one by one as they run off their mouths like children while pointing at his fallen orc lord brethren.

The orc king and orc lords charged at the same time with weapons at the ready, but the three of us easily dodged their assault.

Blake and I have been training during our spare time. We can take them on one-on-one without any problems, we're not like our weak selves from the past.

"Earth Wall!!" [Maria]

Maria made a wall that was three meters thick, which separated us from the orc king. She covered for us while simultaneously taking on the rest of the orc lords with Mooly and Kate.

Angelica and Blake have really improved themselves in this short amount of time, as they could now easily take on a small group of high-ranking orcs. Well, I can proudly say that I wasn't wasting time myself, the multi-cast ability that Jose has taught me became a critical piece of our fighting strength.

When Angelica told me that I'd be the most important person for this battle. To be honest, it scared me, but after she taught me how to enchant the magic crystals. I've felt like I can now go and take quests on my own haha~

Still... I didn't know that with multi-cast it would make fights much easier.

"Phasic Barrier!!" [Maria]

"Thank you, sister Maria!" [Mooly]

"Detect Weakness!!" [Maria]

"Thanks!" [Kate]

Support Spell

Phasic Barrier - is the powered up, a multi-casted form of ▪Point Barrier▪ Instead of only one barrier, it is made up of multiple barriers that can take a dozen heavy blows without breaking. Although the time limit is still the same...

Detect Weakness - Apprentice level support spell. It lets the individual inflict critical damage on the weakest points of the enemy.

Mooly is very good at using the spear. She doesn't let even a single chance escape her, however, she is sometimes careless and wanders a bit away from the formation. It is great that Kate was there to watch her back.

Kate has this unique style of swordplay after each attack, she always retracts her sword in the scabbard and performs a quick draw. I have little to no knowledge of swordplay, but I still think why does she have to put it back? Even Blake was baffled at Kate's style. Angelica, just mentions that it is probably a critical draw effect... what is a critical draw {1} anyway?!

"Twin Strike!!" [Kate]

Kate, hit the orc lord with two attacks, despite me seeing her draw only once. She's almost as fast as Blake or maybe a bit faster. Her slash hit the abdomen and on the arm where the brachial artery was, after inflicting the wound, blood suddenly gushed out. It was like Angelica's water enchant gross...

"Pierce!!" [Mooly]

Mooly steps back and then quickly moves her arm holding the spear forward. Her spear pierces the orc lord's thick helmet. It entered the left temple and exits on the right. The orc lord stood lifelessly as Mooly retracted her pike from its head.

"Water Jet!!" [Maria]

When my spell hit the orc lord. It was slowly getting cut as the water makes contact with its flesh.

Offensive Spell

Water Jet - Offensive water magic regular level. Fires water at a high pressure in a small funnel-like fashion, from the pressure itself it was able to cut through almost anything with ease.

This spell was created by me with the help of Angelica. I thought that it was a joke at first that water can cut through metal, but once we did it in actual combat on armored rhinos. It cut them in a breeze, although the drawback is you'd be a sitting duck as you need to keep on casting it and it doesn't cut cleanly like Angelica's fire enchant, at least it was significantly more powerful than the ▪Air Cutter▪

This has been going on for a while now. There have been close calls, but nothing serious whatsoever.

The orc king. No matter how much we cut, slashed nor stabbed. The wounds we inflict were quickly closing and healing on their own, it seems to have a super-regenerative ability.

"This is endless." [Blake]

"We need to find a way to counter that regeneration." [Steven]

"Killing them will do." [Blake]

"Yeah, but they're good at covering for each other." [Steven]

The orc lords, protected the orc king whenever we try to inflict a finishing blow. They knew that we are aiming for him as he is the most dangerous if left unattended for too long.

Hahh... my head is starting to hurt. I checked my leather waist bag to see if there are still any more energy potions... ... ... ... none... from fighting and using my enchants for this long I have lost count of how much I had used and now I'm almost dry... I better be more careful as I am starting to get sluggish.

The orc king picked up the two-handed axe from the dead orc lord. On his left hand is the now cut-up, two handed sword or what remained of it and on the right is the two-handed axe. Don't tell me that he's proficient at using two weapons at the same time, it will be even harder to deal with him now.

No more screwing around. This time I needed to get serious too, I enchanted my kris with the water enchant.

"Blake, destroy their weapons. Father, keep him busy for me." [Angelica]

"What do you have in mind?" [Steven]

"I'm going to try and end it now." [Angelica]

"And how do you plan on doing that?" [Steven]

"Oh, you'll see~" [Angelica]

"Have you bought a raincoat?" [Blake]

"No. Why?" [Steven]

"It's going to rain, pretty bad." [Blake]

We made a mad dash towards the orc king and two orc lords.

Steven baits them into guarding or countering, by hitting their weak points multiple times with his trident. When they try to counterattack Blake, will then use the fire enchant on his jian and turn their weapons into scrap metal, leaving them vulnerable to my enchant.

Father, really is amazing. He's using the weapons as a stepping stone. He attacks, then juggles from one weapon to the other, rinse and repeat.

Blake then cuts their weapons into tiny little pieces before their very eyes. Heh, he's like a chef preparing food from a restaurant.

As a bonus. He also weakened them by slashing at the legs with his jian, those darn legs are thicker than a tree stump. That you'd need to hit it three to four times with my fire enchant to completely cut it off. Much more so with the size of the orc king.

One by one they limped. I had cut open the wound where Blake, has slashed earlier to inflict more damage. My water enchant, the bigger the wounds, the faster they will die. I called Blake and Steven to back away from the orcs.

The orc king and orc lords were baffled at our sudden withdrawal. Countdown... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

Three wonderful, blood fountains have appeared. The orc king and orc lords shrieked in agony as their blood is forcefully pumped out of their bodies.

The surrounding orcs hear the screams and see the horror unfold. They have a lot of blood I'd say, it has already spread to more than ten meters and they're still alive and kicking. Well, not for long though...

Orcish blood is gross. It's dark violet, very thick and gooey and smelled much like armpits.

They are like dying animals, kicking and twitching... their skin is now pale green after the blood is fully drained. Their eyes are going white...

"What a frightening enchant." [Steven]

"Father, don't touch. If you do, you'll die..." [Angelica]

Steven wanted to touch the edge. I stopped and warned him as much as I can. The smallest of cuts is still considered dangerous.

It can only be stopped with Regular level Heal... Novice and Apprentice Heal won't cut it.

We knew the effects while only testing it on monsters and animals. Still, even if we have crystals that housed Maria's, Regular level Heal. I won't take any risks...

~~~Blake~~~

"I can finally take a breather..." [Angelica]

"You should go rest for a bit, you don't look too well Angelica..." [Blake]

Angelica sat down on the ground, she was sweating a lot and seems to be having a hard time breathing. As she rested, I stood guard near her because there is still fighting going on all around us.

"Heya!" [Kate]

"Dad, we took care of the orc lords!" [Mooly]

"You did well out there. Where did you learn that move from Mooly?" [Steven]

"Sis taught me." [Mooly]

"Really? I didn't know she could use a spear." [Steven]

"Sis said that she saw this being executed by someone named Dante. {2}" [Mooly]

"Dante, huh... I'd like to meet him someday." [Steven]

"Where's Maria?" [Blake]

"Over there." [Kate]

Backing up the adventurers were Maria and Michelle. Using multi-cast spells and the ▪Barrage▪ spell.

The orc grunts and riders were in a state of panic, all because of the high-ranking orcs are easily dispatched by us. Without any command, they easily fell to the adventurers as the result. Choosing not to slack off, Mooly, Steven, and Kate came to help them.

The warg riders weren't much of a threat, you'd only feel intimidated by their looks, but they are actually almost as weak as a grunt.

"Earth Graveyard!!" [Maria]

Maria used a spell that is the multi-casted form of ▪Earth Coffin▪ Various, earthen-like shells arise from the ground and sandwiches multiple orcs that crushes them from the inside.

She doesn't have to shout the name of the spell anymore since it was already imbued on the crystal. This is probably her first time using it and may take some time for her to get used to. I wish I could also use magic like them... but I'll compensate with my swordsmanship.

"Terrence, cover me." [Kate]

"Gotcha." [Steven]

Angelica's father and godmother. Kills orcs in droves, eliminating them with a single stab with the trident or slash of the sword. I still lack in skill, even though I can easily slash them due to Angelica's enchant, I must get even stronger.
