After a month, I can now touch the flame without getting burned, but I didn't know that it would be that hard. Good thing, that I did it right the first time...
At noon Michelle asked Blake. If he would like to have dinner with us.
In the dining room, we sat at a rectangular table that could seat four people. Blake and I are on one side and Michelle and Steven is on the other. While eating Steven posed a question.
"Where are the knives, honey?" [Steven]
"They seem to be missing darling..." [Michelle]
"Is that so." [Steven]
"Are the children doing pranks again?" [Michelle]
"Angelica, do know anything about the missing knives?" [Steven]
Blake shot me a weird look, a second later I stomped on his foot under the table.

(Stomp!)
"Yeh-ouch!!" [Blake]
"?!" [Steven/Michelle]
"Is that the wind? What knife mother, father?" [Angelica]
As I said that, I tilted my head to the side while showing a smile with my eyes closed, while still stepping on Blake's foot. Hahh... sorry Blake.
During my practice a month ago, I used plenty of knives. It's not like I never planned on returning them. It's just that... they melted...
If I put in too much power, the flame turns into a blaze. Even if I can touch the flames, the melting metal would still burn me. Also with that much power being used, I instantly become drained and almost fainted a couple of times.
Somehow... my head is starting to get used to the pain, but it would still hurt like hell. Imagine having a hangover and not being drunk, does it sound fun? No...
The next day, mother found a whole new set of knives, she hugged father happily for some reason and they had some lovey-dovey time that night. Well, there goes my lunch money...
2nd Month. Invoking the flame is easy, turning it off is another thing...
I still haven't found a way to turn off my power. When I use it, it doesn't stop until I'm drained or I let go of the knife. Contact with my hands seems to be the reason; so for now... if I ever want to stop using it, I'd just drop the knife on the floor and then, pick it up again. This routine is giving me back pains...
In the second week, I finally managed to control my power. It was all thanks to Blake, I remembered when he suddenly asked me to train with him and I lost my concentration. All I had to do was just stop focusing and it'll turn off on its own.
