The whole domain goes pitch black again.

Mikey Is thinking at an accelerated time.

Is this the whole point of his domain? Can he see in the darkness too? How exactly does this thing work?

But how come he didn't see my punch coming? He can see in the dark can't he? Then he should've predicted my attack.

Mikey changes his position in the domain. Zero runs after him, the domain is lit up again.

Zero is standing behind Mikey, holding his glaive and looking at Mikey. Mikey runs further away, before the domain flashes black again.

This process repeats a few times, sometimes the two exchange blows, Zero always wins the trade, and sometimes they only stare at eachother during the white screen time.

Mikey starts noticing that Zero moves a lot more in the darkness, than he does in the light, which makes Mikey raise his suspicions.

However, the strangest thing about Zero's domain, is that its only effect is being able to switch between the light and dark mode. And besides that, there is nothing else special about it.

Mikey wants to wait for the perfect opportunity to duskstep behind him. Since Zero already saw Mikey's duskstep, he is going to somewhat expect it.

"You're cooked." Zero throws his glaive at Mikey.

This is the perfect opportunity. Or is he actually trying to make me teleport next to him? No time to think about it.

Mikey dusk steps next to Zero and is about to slash him with his sword, when all of a sudden, Zero's glaive defends him and starts attacking Mikey on its own.

Zero: "After spending enough time here, and doing certain things, this domain gains additional effects. The reason why you have already lost."

The domain goes dark.

Mikey is being chased by the glaive even in the darkness.

Zero: "Is because you didn't defeat me fast enough."

The domain regains light. Mikey is bleeding heavily from his stomach. He falls on one knee.

Mikey: "So you're saying that this battle is over?"

[You have activated an ability of the "Deranged Fighter"]

Mikey's eyes change, and his wounds start healing a lot faster than before, his aura starts appearing around him.

Zero: "So you were still holding a trump card..."

(Mikey's thoughts)

Fuck, I am losing my conciousness again, I can't fall under the influence of that attribute again, if I do, I won't be able to think about my next move, I will be stronger, but I will be extremely readable. FOCUS! FOCUS! FOCUS!

The lights in the domain are flickering. Zero is waiting for Mikey to take his first step towards him. Mikey's aura and eyes look very chaotic.

He seems to have lost his mind... if I just parry and counterattack him, he is done for... Zero takes a counterattacking stance.

Mikey's aura changes all of a sudden. His eyes regain color and soul...

[You have activated an ability of the "Focused Fighter"]

Mikey's aura is very calm all of a sudden, and he seems to have everything under control. Zero realizes that he is in trouble...

The domain flickers, and when the light comes back in, Mikey is standing right next to Zero.

Zero's Glaive flies at Mikey, but he keeps deflecting it while focusing on Zero.

Zero just keeps running and running, he has nothing else to do.

I'll just wear him out. If I keep running, he will eventually run out of stamina.

(Three minutes later)

Mikey is still chasing after Zero. Both of them have gotten quite exhausted, but Mikey seems to be having the edge in the fight, Zero has been hit a few times too. Mikey is making the only correct decision, he is chasing Zero so that they both run out of stamina, and not just him.

Mikey is extremely focused thanks to all of his enhancements.

IT'S READY!

[THE ULTIMATE FOOTWORK+ULTIMATE PUNCH COMBO]

Mikey uses The Ultimate Punch on Zero, and sends him flying dozens of meters across the whole domain.

Zero stops in the air.

Zero: "COMPRESS!"

The seemingly endless domain, starts suddenly getting a lot smaller, every second, a large portion of it compresses.

Zero: "DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU COMPRESS THE SIZE OF SOMETHING BY TOO MUCH?! A BLACK HOLE! A BLACK HOLE FORMS!"

Mikey: "ARE YOU CRAZY?! THIS IS GONNA DESTROY THE WHOLE GODDAMN PLANET!"

Zero: "NO! ONLY THE TWO OF US WILL DIE HERE TODAY! AFTER I DIE, MY DOMAIN WILL CEASE TO EXIST! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! I CAN FINALLY USE IT! MY INESCAPABLE ATTACK!"

Mikey: "WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING SO SUICIDAL?!"

Zero: "YOU DON'T GET IT YOUNG MAN! I'VE BEEN IN THIS WORLD FOR SO LONG! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO OUT WITH A BANG! NOW! THAT I'VE FINALLY MET SOMEONE WHO IS A THREAT TO THE KINGDOM, I CAN TAKE HIM OUT WITH ME!"

Mikey: "YOU'RE CRAZY YOU KNOW THAT?!"

The domain shatters and creates a black hole which starts swallowing everything, including Mikey and Zero. The spaghetiffication process begins, and both Mikey and Zero undergo an absolutely mind-shattering amount of pain, and get swallowed by the black hole...

Time passes, neither Mikey, nor Zero know how much time has passed. They're just stuck in the blackhole, they're dying, and neither of them can do anything about it.

After what feels like an eternity, everything goes black.

Mikey appears in a black void of nothingness, he is just standing there, he can't see anything.

After a moment, a blue tab appears in front of him.

[Mikey Hunt, you have died]

"Is there anything I can do?" He asks.

[Actually, there is]

[Do you accept this challenge, or do you want to go to the afterlife]

Mikey: "I want to fight for a little bitlonger, I accept your challenge."

[You're about to undergo the hardest training, and will be given a task that will be extremely difficult to accomplish, if you fail to do so, your soul will not be able to go to the afterlife]

[Are you sure you want to accept?]

Mikey thinks about it for a while.

Mikey: "Yes, I accept."

(??? time later)

After Mikey's and Lucy's unsuccssesfull raid of the underground laboratory. An absolute chaos broke out in the Western Continent.

A war started... between all the Elven nations, and humans got caught up in this war aswell.

Lucy didn't know what to do for weeks after Mikey died...

A new event was announced. This event forced everyone to basically intervene with the war happening in the Western Continent.

Way too many humans and Elves died.

There were only 50 000 humans left after the incident and the event. The whole planet was in anarchy, and many colorful biomes that were once filled with trees, were now only wastelands and deserts.

(Some months later)

Lucy is a walking through a wasteland. Her appearance has somewhat changed. She became extremely powerful and, is now the third strongest player.

Lucy can even use triple element combinations now. Like Fire, Earth, and Wind for example.

During the chaos that happened in the Western Continent, she met up with Zoro, who has changed extremely aswell. Zoro is right now the second strongest player.

Lucy and Zoro found the Kraken who cursed them, and the two of them took it down.

As Lucy is walking around, looking for a village or some supplies, an announcement comes in.

[Announcement for every player]

Lucy: "Don't be another event please!"

[Since the very beginning, everyone who died got a chance at coming back from the dead. They have been put through gruesome training, and had to accomplish abnormal feats.To be fair, they surpass almost every player who is alive right now]

[The five strongest... are returning back to this world...]

[I won't say their names, but I will now update the current ranking of everyone]

Lucy looks above herself. Her ranking drops down to four, meaning, that out of those five people who came back to life, one of them is stronger than her.

Lucy starts tearing up: "Mikey, is it you?"
