After about an hour of travelling through the mist, everyone, at the same time, reaches a less foggier part of the mist, where the vision isn't as bad as it was up until now. Every group meets face to face.
A group of Lucy, Mikey and Rook, they are all the real ones.
A group of Eula, Mikey, Rook, and Alicia. Out of this group, Eula is the only real one.
Alicia is with everyone, but everyone besides her is a mimic, she still thinks that her group are all real people, because Rook and Mikey tricked her.
Ignis shows up aswell, all alone.
"Well, what now?" One of the fake Mikeys asks.
"There have to be a few real people in each group." The real Mikey claims.
Ignis: "I can just ask everyone whether they are a mimic or not, that way, we won't have to fight amongst eachother." The mimics get startled by Ignis's statement. He hasn't revealed a single ability since entering the mist, he was also not seen by anyone, which is why they didn't know anything about him.
The fake Ignis: "Hah, you're talking as if you were the real one."
"We won't get anywhere this way..." The real Mikey recalls all of his pirates, but the other Mikey, the fake one, does so aswell.
"You can copy my recall too?" The fake Mikey tells the real one.
"You're talking as if you are the real one." The real Mikey answers and teleports behind the fake.
Before he can strike him, Alicia defends the fake Mikey, she is still inclined that the fake isn't a mimic.
"Alicia, you're defending the wrong guy, I can tell." Real Ignis claims.
"Don't listen to him!" The fake one shouts.
"Ahh! How am I supposed to know who is telling the truth?" She asks him while holding back Mikey's sword. Mikey jumps back.
"I guess there is no way to find out huh." The real Rook jumps in the conversation. "If that's the case, why doesn't everyone just fight their own mimics? If you're the real one, you can simply prove it by overpowering the fakes, right?" He adds.
You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.
"Not a bad idea!" Eula jumps her mimic, and instantly defeats it. Several more battles start this way, however this leaves an opportunity for even more mimics, who have been hiding in the mist, to join the chaos.
There seems to be no end to this, however, by watching eachother fight, everyone soon realized who is the fake and who is not. All six of them gather and start running through the mist, while several mimics followed them. This time, everyone made sure to ignore everything around them and just keep moving forward, while looking out for eachother.
After a few minutes, they finally manage to leave the part where mimics reside, and everyone falls to the ground from exhaustion.
"Finally!" Lucy says.
"Ahh, I hate mimics!" Eula shouts.
"Why was that so much harder than I expected?" Rook sighs.
"How far are we from the Heaven?" Mikey asks and takes a deep breath.
"Should only take us about ten minutes by walk." Ignis catches his breath.
"Let's not waste any time, mimics tend to step outside of their territory occasionally." Eula stands up, everyone follows her.
After a few minutes, they finally see it, a beautiful village in a small valley. The sight they see is incredible.
A bunch of houses with beautiful architecture, hot springs, waterfalls, very light fog, great weather, a few adults working on the fields, and a few children of different races playing together. One older elf notices Eula and her group, he quickly rushes out to greet them.
"Princess Eula, what brings you here today?" The old elf rubs his hands together. "Did you come to dip in the hot springs? Or perhaps something else?" He asks.
Eula: "No, we are here for a more serious matter chief, I will explain everything, but let's get somewhere where the others won't hear us."
Eula addresses the old elf as chief, meaning he is probably the village chief of Heaven. Everyone from Eula's group enters his house. Eula starts by explaining what the so called events are that humans have to undergo, she then explains what Mikey told her.
Village Chief: "By the saints! Young man, are you serious?" The village chief almost falls from his chair after hearing the story.
Mikey: "Unfortunately... but I don't see why anyone would try to destroy this village in the first place. It's beautiful."
At the same time as Mikey and the others are talking inside chief's house, the assasins sent by the king enter Heaven without being seen. They set up their camp nearby in the underground, and start watching Mikey through a window.
Lucy's attribute starts telling her something, she instinctivelly looks out of the window and catches a glimpse of the spyglass' glare.
What was that? She asks herself and keeps looking out of the window.
Alicia: "What's up?" She looks out of the window aswell. "Isn't this village beautiful?"
"It sure is." Lucy answers.
I've killed five of them in the mist... just how many assasins did that damned king send?! Ignis twitches his eyebrow as he notices one of the assasins sneaking away.
(Few hours later)
The village chief gives Mikey and Lucy a tour around Heaven, showing them every interesting landmark. Meanwhile, the others are all doing something else.
Ignis is keeping watch over Heaven. Eula is playing with the kids. Alicia and Rook are training by fighting eachother.
After giving Mikey a tour, he doesn't see what is wrong with this village. He asks the village chief.
"Mister Village Chief, besides me and Lucy, how many humans have you seen in this village?"
"Two." The village chief answers. "One of them just appeared here, or as you humans like to call it, 'spawned' here. The other one was lost in the mist and found her way here by pure coincidence."
Lucy: "Where are those two now?"
Village Chief: "I don't know, they both eventually left the village, and I haven't heard from them since."
Mikey: "Well, there is no use in trying to figure out why is someone trying to destroy this village, but rather who that person is, so if any human comes in here, we will simply have to deal with him."
Lucy: "I think I am gonna keep watch for some time, I am better suited for it then Ignis anyway."
The Village Chief: "You guys don't need to worry yourselves with watching the village. We have people who will take care of that. It's just that Mister Ignis always keeps watch when he visits here with the king, it's kind of a habit of his. You should take a dip in the hotsprings, you seem wounded and exhausted, those hot springs do wonders, trust me."
