"What the hell is that monster?!" Mikey asks and points at a massive worm that just bursted out of the Nether floor into the air, and then dove back into the Nether floor right after, whilst catching several zombified pigmen in its mouth in the process. The attack of the worm left behind two large craters, from when it bursted out of the Nether floor, and from when it dove back into the Nether floor.

"That's a Nether worm. These worms can smell living things from miles away. If you want to survive an encounter with them, just start running away the moment you hear a rumbling sound below you." Miyu responds.

Two days have passed since Mikey and Miyu lost the Hunters, they rested for one day and made some preparations, and started searching for obsidian when the second day started. They haven't been able to find anything, up until now.

There's a big lava lake surrounded with Nether wastelands. In the middle of the lake is a ruined portal with what seems like five usable obsidian blocks.

The worm bursts through the ground again, this time catching an entire eyeless dog in its mouth. Even the eyeless dog looks like a bug compared to the collosal Nether worm.

"How are we going to take that obsidian?" Mikey asks.

"I have an idea, it might be a little bit risky, but it should do the trick." Miyu says. "You, are going to start walking laps around the lava lake. That should bait the Nether worm into focusing on you." Miyu suggests, there are no zombie pigmen in the area at the moment, so she plans to use Mikey as a bait.

"And you will take that time to mine the obsidian right?" Mikey asks.

"Yeah, I also have a netherite pickaxe already, so it shouldn't take me longer than two minutes to go to the island, mine the obsidian and come back." Miyu replies.

(Netherite is a material found in the Nether, it is quite rare, and by combining a netherite ingot with a piece of a diamond tool or a diamond armor piece, it becomes covered in Netherite)

"Alright, let's go!" Mikey goes to the area where the Nether worm is residing. He starts walking around for a little, that's when he hears rumbling below him. Mikey starts running away and shouts: "Now! Go now!"

Mikey can't see Miyu, she turned invisible, so that it would be harder for the worm or anything else to spot her.

The worm bursts out of the ground and aims at Mikey, but misses. Miyu had just reached the island, but she doesn't start mining the obsidian yet.

Nearby the Nether wastelands biome is also a Nether souls biome. It's a biome filled with soul sand that makes you slower while moving on it, or soul soil, which is pretty much the same as dirt.

The problem with this is that skeletons spawn in that biome, and they've noticed Mikey.

Skeletons won't get attacked by the Nether worm because they are not alive, they are undead. This makes Mikey's situation more complicated than it should've been.

Miyu started mining the obsidian when she saw Mikey getting attacked by the worm for the second time, this way, she knew that she had more time. As she started mining, her invisibility automatically turned off. She also opened the chest and found three obsidian inside, this means that they will definitely have enough for a whole portal if she mines atleast four obsidians.

Fifteen seconds pass...

Mikey kept running circles around the island, when he realized that the worm is no longer following him. His intuition told him that the worm must be after Miyu.

Before he could even turn around, the worm surfaced and swallowed half of the island, including the entire obsidian portal.

"Damn it!" Miyu appeared next to Mikey. "I have nine obsidian... if I had like two more seconds we could have gotten out of here." She adds with dissapointment.

"Sorry about that, but it just stopped coming after me. Let's dip." Mikey responds.

Mikey and Miyu hide a chest far away from their base, they put the obsidian in the chest and go inside their hideout to plan the next move.

"Alright, literally just one obsidian and we are out of here." Miyu says.

"Wait a second." Mikey says. "You said something about there being real lakes in this biome right?" He asks.

"Yeah, what about them, you wanna go for swim or what?" She asks confused.

"It would be nice, but no. If we find one, we can just bring in a lava bucket and turn it into a obsidian inside that lake." Mikey says.

(When water and lava get in contact they create obsidian)

"Oh my god, you're right." Miyu says happily. "The problem is, I don't have any iron and I don't have a bucket." She adds, losing hope.

"Don't worry about that." Mikey puts down a crafting table, and using three iron ingots, crafts an iron bucket.

"You had iron on you? Neat!" Her eyes sparkle.

"Now we just need to find lava and water." Mikey says. "Should we split up for this?" He asks.

"We can't, they are already back on our track." Miyu responds. "That's what my attribute is telling me."

"You still have some TnT's on you?" Mikey asks.

"No, I don't." Miyu replies.

"We need to prepare a trap, because they will definitely catch up to us..."

One hour passes, Mikey found a lava lake. Thanks to that, he obtained a bucket of lava. They were searching for a real lake now.

Miyu stayed invisible during the entire search, she only whispered to Mikey from time to time and scouted the area for the hunters. She is doing this, because she doesn't know the exact location of the hunters, for all she knows, they could be staring at Mikey at this very moment.

The oaza Nether biome is actually quite huge, stretching out for thousands of blocks. Every oaza should have atleast one huge water lake inside it.

Normally, the higher chance to find the water lake is in the middle of the biome, that's why, Mikey and Miyu are travelling towards the very middle of the Nether oaza biome

"Hey." She whispers to him. "They are about two hundred meters behind us." She adds.

"Seriously?" Mikey asks in disbelief.

"Yeah, and they're moving fast too!" She says.

"Hmm, can you use your domain again?" Mikey inquires.

"No, I can't, I can backstab one of them however, I will stay right here, you will keep walking forward, make sure to create more footsteps, this will make them think that I am walking with you, and that I am simply staying invisible, instead of actually just standing here." Miyu suggests.

"But, we don't even leave behind footsteps." Mikey says.

"Yeah, but he can see these invisible footsteps, the only downside is, that he can't differentiate between different footsteps." Miyu says.

"I see what you are thinking, let's go with that." Mikey agrees without thinking twice, and starts making more footsteps. "Wait, did your attribute tell you all of that?!" He asks and turns around.

"Yeah, quite handy right?" Miyu says.

A few minutes pass and the men catch up to Mikey, as he had to do more footsteps, his pace slowed down.

"THERE HE IS!" The tracker shouts.

Mikey turns around and summons four spectral pirates. He stays still and waits for the men to get closer, the flintknocks which his pirates use aren't really a long range weapons, because of their bullet drop.

The men have already passed by Miyu without even realizing it.

Mikey and Miyu have them right where they want them...
