Mikey and David are having a sword fight inside the cave.

There are also several monsters around them that they have to deal with during the fight. That includes creepers aswell.

BOOM!

Mikey is loosing the fight by quite the margin. David is not joking around at all. Quite the opposite.

It almost looks like David was holding back until now, his movements definitely got faster than they used to be just a few minutes ago.

The only reason why Mikey wasn't killed yet, is his Duskstep, and his Ultimate Fighter attribute.

Mikey hasn't used his spectral pirates yet, he's waiting for a better opportunity to present itself.

The thing is, if he summoned them now, they would just get swept away by David in an instant.

Mikey is waiting for an opportunity while playing with death itself.

And the opportunity finally presents itself.

David goes all in and completely abandoms his defense. Mikey summons two pirates right behind David. He orders both of them to shoot at David.

David walks up to Mikey and swings his sword at an incredible speed.

That's when, time slows down for Mikey.

[You have activated an ability of the "Focused Fighter"]

Mikey's reaction time goes up so much that time slows down for him.

However, it still isn't enough, at this rate, the sword will still hit him.

[You have activated an ability of the "Ultimate Fighter"]

Wind gathers around Mikey's feet and his speed momentarily outmatches David.

He jumps back and jumps as high in the air as he can, without hitting the ceiling.

[You have activated an ability of the "Freestyle Fighter"]

Mikey's pirates manage to hit David with their pistols, but they do little to no damage.

David is caught by a surprise, he didn't know about Mikey's pirate attribute, and he also didn't expect him to dodge that last attack.

Mikey comes crashing down at David.

His kick... doesn't connect, because David retreated just in time to not get hit.

Both of them stop fighting for a minute to catch their breaths.

"So, David, why is your ranking so low despite your strenght?" Mikey asks him while still catching breath.

"I don't know, I guess I didnt do enough to reach the top 10." David replies.

(They start having a casual talk)

"When the duels started, I was in the upper group, and my opponent was really weak." He continues.

"I defeated him in less than a minute." He adds.

"So you didn't really have a way to showcase your strenght huh?" Mikey asks.

"Pretty much, but that begs the question, why are you ranked number one? What's the difference between you and me?" David asks.

"Well, my duel was quite difficult, the guy I went against was insanely underrated. He got unlucky that he had to fight with me." Mikey replies.

"So, I guess that's why I am ranked number one now." He adds.

[You have activated an ability of the "Persistent Fighter"]

"Well, shall we get back to fighting?" Mikey asks David.

"Nah, let's not." David answers.

This leaves Mikey surprised.

"Why is that?" He asks David.

"I can't defeat you, I just know I can't." David gives a strange reply.

"What do you mean?" Mikey asks him, he is still surprised, he had the short end of the stick this whole fight afterall.

"Well, one of my attributes allows me to see these... hmm, let's call them threads. These threads lead to people who are fragile enough, so that I can defeat them in their current state." David says.

"I have been fighting you for some time now, and I don't see any threads connecting to you, you seem to be getting harder to kill the closer you are to dying." He adds.

"Yeah, you would be right about that second statement. But with that knowledge, what are you going to do now?" Mikey asks David.

"Well, I am going to try to use the last trick that I have in an attempt to kill you. If it doesn't work, then whatever I guess. I am going to hunt people who have those threads." David responds.

Mikey puts his guard up. "And what if I don't let you?" Mikey smiles.

"Heh, try to outrun me then." David smiles too.

David and Mikey stare at eachother for a few seconds.

David starts charging up, and Mikey prepares to follow him, but David does something completely unexpected.

He puts down several TnT's and lights them up. He then rushes out of the cave full speed and creates a trail of TnT's on the way out.

Mikey tries to catch up to David, but he fails to do so.

BOOM!

The entire cave collapses right on Mikey, and David gets out just in time to not get caught in it.

"So that's what he meant by the last trick." Mikey says nervously as the ceiling starts crashing down on him.

The collapsing cave quite literally buries Mikey alive.

"Now then, where should I go next?" David asks himself and looks around the area.

(Meanwhile, not too far away)

Ragnar is fighting alongside Zoro. They are fighting against five lower ranked players. All of their ranks are in the lower hundreds.

Zoro and Ragnar are dealing with them pretty well, defending themselves while outnumbered easily, until a familiar face makes an appearance.

Ranked 333.

An old man.

The old man whom Ragnar, Zoro and the others met at one of the islands which they were exploring on their way to the continent. The same old man who has the strange power like Zoro.

The old man appeared next to Zoro, who wasn't able to track him at all, even with his special eye.

They look at eachother with their special eyes.

Zoro is hoping that the old man doesn't side with those five, and to his surprise, he really doesn't.

The old man starts attacking the five players, he teleports to one of them, and kicks him with such force that the man is sent flying into a tree that is fifty meters away from their location.

The man then turns around to Ragnar and Zoro, he attacks Zoro.

Zoro reads his movement and dodges, but the old man predicts Zoro and hits him in the stomach with his palm.

Zoro loses his breath, the old man karate chops Zoro on the neck.

Zoro starts losing conciousness.

Ragnar rushes to help him and attacks the old man. Ragnar's physical prowess allows him to create a distance between Zoro and the old man.

"Hey Zoro! You good?" He asks him.

"Yeah, thanks for the help." Zoro replies and fully regains focus.

The old man takes a weird meditative state, the exact same they found him in on the island.

(Underground)

Mikey dug out a chunk of the debris that has fallen on to him. He also created a bunch of support slopes all around so that the ceiling wouldn't collapse again.

He isn't focused on getting out of the cave, actually, he is considering going deeper underground and hiding in the caves until the bounty event ends.

Not just that, while exploring the caves, he might very well stumble onto a bunch of interesting ores that he hasn't seen yet.
