Mikey falls to the ground unconcious. The poison injected in his blood made him feel extremely dizzy in a matter of moments.

Arthur takes a step forward and prepares to throw another dagger. He aims it at Mikey, and throws it.

The dagger will surely kill Mikey if he doesn't do anything.

A few centimeters before the dagger connects, Mikey just slightly, regains his conciousness.

Mikey intuitively blocks the dagger with his Duskblade, while keeping his eyes closed, he still isn't fully concious. Arthur is caught off by surprise.

Seriously? He ponders to himself. I made sure to put enough poison in the dagger to make an elephant fall asleep!

I guess he isn't number one for nothing...

There are five levers lying on what seems like a stone altair right next to Arthur. He pulls one of them. This activates a dispenser that shoots an arrow at Mikey.

Mikey fully regains his conciousness and knocks the arrow away... but he actually doesn't.

The arrow passes through Mikey's blade and hits him. Mikey groans in pain and pulls the arrow out.

Arthur pulls two more levers. One of them opens the floor below Mikey, revealing a lava pool. The other lever sends a poisoned arrow at Mikey from above.

Mikey smiles, knowing that Arthur is screwed. He uses the Dusk Step and teleports behind Arthur.

Shivers run down Arthur's spine, he sensed Mikey. He quickly pulls out a diamond sword, and turns around swinging it. Mikey ducks the swing and kicks Arthur in the face. Arthur starts falling from the higher area, right into the lava pool.

Arthur stops falling mid-air, he landed on something invisible.

"So, you're the one who put the barrier inside my ship and inside the ocean too?" Mikey asks.

Arthur cracks his neck and answers. "Precisely."

Wait, but that doesn't make sense, it would only make sense if he had an extremely fast transportation method, because how else would he get into the village like that?... An attribute?

Arthur throws another poisoned dagger at Mikey, he dodges it with ease, but the dagger changes positions. Mikey, just barely manages to dodge for the second time in a row, thanks to his adapted eyes.

Mikey was focused on dodging, Arthur used that time to dissapear and throw more daggers at him.

Mikey dashes away from the daggers just as he hears a strange sound coming from above. It sounds like... lava?

The stone roof above him opens, lava comes soaring at Mikey. Mikey quickly runs to the nearest wall and starts mining away, while placing blocks behind himself, so that the lava doesn't follow. Eventually, he stops placing blocks behind himself and just keeps mining as fast as he can. He succesfully survives another one of Arthur's traps.

Mikey manages to get away and catches his breath. At that exact moment a zombie spawns behind him. Even though his tunnel was lit up with a torch. Mikey quickly dismantles the zombie. Another one appears, which he takes care of quickly aswell.

A creeper spawns right behind Mikey, he hears it sizzling at him. He pulls out a shield to block the creeper's explosion. He manages to do so, but the explosion knocks him away and he bumps into a wall.

The explosion creates a big hole and the entire place starts swarming with monsters.

"Yeah, I am definitely in the center of the hotzone alright!" Mikey starts mining away at full speed and places blocks behind himself aswell. He can hear the zombies breaking into his tunnel.

Eventually, Mikey digs into a really big ravine with a small water pond at the bottom. The zombies are about to get to him. He has no choice but to jump down into the water.

He jumps and the zombies follow him right through. Mikey falls and quickly fills up the water pond with cobblestone, thanks to this the water is scattered all around and the zombies die to fall damage instead of saving themselves in the water.

Skeletons fall down aswell and shoot arrows at Mikey while falling. He manages to dodge all the arrows with ease.

Then, suddenly... without realizing it. A poisoned dagger pierces Mikey's stomach from behind. Mikey turns around, it is Arhur.

"How did I not---" Mikey says and falls to the ground. Arthur doesn't pull out the dagger out of him. He lets the poison spread inside Mikey's body.

"Surely you won't survive this. I need to make some precautions however."

Arthur takes away Mikey's Duskblade. He then cages him inside obsidian and leaves small openings from each side.

He sets up four dispensers and puts poisoned arrows in each one of them, he then connects all of them to a single lever. He's waiting to see if Mikey wakes up. If he does, he will just pull the lever to finish him off.

Arthur went this extra mile because he didn't want to kill Mikey directly. He thinks that Mikey would just instinctively wake up again.

Mikey who is on the verge of dying, goes deranged. His eyes get clouded and he simply moves on instincts. Additionally, his persistence skill gives him more durability and regeneration, and his adaptive skill gives him some immunity to the poison, and of course, the Intuitive skill which heightens his senses, besides his vision.

Arthur notices that Mikey is waking up. He quickly pulls the lever. Mikey smiles menacingly and equips and iron helmet that he had kept in his inventory. The arrows hit the helmet but don't pierce it.

"HE HAD A HELMET ON HIMSELF?!" Arthur shouts in disbelief and pulls the lever again.

But it was too late. This time, Mikey summons four spectral pirates to block the arrows. He also pulls out his diamond pickaxe and diamonds sword, and starts hitting one of the obsidian blocks at full force. Normally, it should take about fifteen seconds for someone to mine an obsidian block with a diamond pickaxe.

It took Mikey only 1.5 seconds...

The speed at which he destroys the obsidian literally creates a small dust cloud around the obsidian cage.

Arthur shrugs back in fear. He can hear Mikey's heavy breathing and can hear his terryfying footsteps. Arthur surrounds himself with multiple barriers from all sides and equips himself with an iron armor that is literally enchanted with poison, meaning: If someone attacks him, whoever it is, they will get poisoned.

Wind gathers around Mikey's feet. His body feels lighter, he is still smilling menacingly.

"What have I unleashed?!" Arthur asks himself in disbelief and terror.

Mikey shatters and goes right through all the barriers with a single dash.

Mikey punches Arthur with his ultimate punch, and sends him flying all across the ravine. Arthur is bleeding internally. He's completely out of breath, his vision is blurry.

He senses Mikey walking towards him. Once Mikey got close enough to him, he pulled out the dagger out of his stomach and threw it at Arthur.

At this exact moment, Arthur crossed his pointer and middle fingers which resembled the hashtag sign, thanks to this, he somehow teleported away. This is the same skill which he used on Mikey's ship, it's a long distance teleportation.

Mikey notices that Arthur dissapeared. He passes out and falls face first to the ground.

"You can't die yet, that would be too troublesome for me..." A woman appears beside Mikey. She's wearing a white dress and has actual white wings.

She looks like some kind of an angel. She has a golden staff in her hand and golden hair, her eye color is golden too. She casts a spell on Mikey that heals him and grants him a fleeting barrier from all of the monsters that started spawning in the ravine.

There's the number three above her head. Meaning that she is a human and a player. Below the number three there is also a bounty of 80,000 emerald nuggets on her.

Who is this mysterious woman? Mikey briefly regains his conciousness and gazes at her before she dissapears into the thin air.
