Mikey is resting inside a hot spring, while thinking about something.
Why does Ignis want to destroy the village? What's his goal? I will have to think about those assasins that the king sent aswell.
Wait! What if Ignis is keeping watch over the village because he is aware of the existence of assasins? The king must have told him when Lucy wasn't listening to them. Surely he would tell his right hand man... right?
No one saw Ignis during the whole time inside the mist... is it because he was killing off some of the assasins? Would he be capable of doing something like that? Or no, maybe he was just talking with them since they're supposed to be on the same "team."
Well... even if I come to such conclussions, I don't have a way to prove these things, and even if I did, I still don't know why Ignis wants to destroy Heaven. I need to let him know that I know what he plans on doing, but how do I do that? And is it really worth? Destroying this village? If the people here are all innocent, I won't be capable of doing something so evil.
Lucy: "Mikey? Are you listening!?"
Mikey was so lost in thought that he didn't notice Lucy standing behind him.
"Oh, don't scare me like that Lucy..." He shakes his head.
Lucy: "Did you just get scared like that?" She laughs. "That's totally not like you, what's happening?"
(On top of the watchtower in Heaven)
Ignis: "Hmm, how do I contact Mikey? How do I get us on the same page and make us cooperate? What's his goal in the first place?"
I mean, who is even giving all these humans those events? Is it the God? Someone really powerful? I have so many questions. Wait, that doesn't matter. Mikey mentioned that the person who will attack, would attack within thirty days. So he will have to attack within thirty days... is that enough time for me to set everything up? Why does he have only thirty days? That isn't too much time...
Thinking about it won't help, I need to get into work as soon as possible.
(At the training grounds)
Rook and Alicia have been sparring for some time.
Alicia wraps her steelwire around Rook's axe, she pulls him in, Rook doesn't let go of his axe.

If she doesn't let go of my axe with her steelwire, this will turn into a fist fight, and Alicia knows that she doesn't stand a chance in such situation. Meaning, I shouldn't let go of my axe.
Alicia starts swinging around her steelwire, Rook goes flying while holding on to his axe. Eventually, while in midair, Alicia unwraps her steelwire, and prepares to attack Rook.
Alicia thinks that since Rook is in the air, he won't be able to control his landing, but she's wrong.
Rook bounces off the air and next thing you know, he is holding his battle axe at point blank range to Alicia's neck.
"Just how many times can you do that now?! I forfeit." Alicia says with defeat in her eyes.
"You've gotten a lot stronger Alicia." Rook praises her. "Well, I've been training a lot too, so I can use bouncer a lot more."
"Well, the thing is, you are a pretty good matchup for me, and yet I still can't defeat you." Alicia says.
"You've been a commander for only a few years, I've been one for decades. If you train hard, you will catch up, don't worry." Rook laughs.

(At children's playground)
"EULA! HOW DID YOU GET YOUR WIND? IT'S SO COOL!" One of the children asks Eula and tries punching her, but the wind pushes the child away. "I can't touch you, that's so cool! How strong are you?"
Eula: "You know that I am the Elven princess right? This wind is my inheritance."
"Inheritance what does that mean?"
Eh? They don't know? How am I going to explain something like that to them, help me out someone. Eula thinks to herself, with a startled expression. She notices Rook passing by and grabs him.
"Huh, you want me to explain to them what does inheritance mean?" He asks shocked. "Why don't you do it yourself?"
"I am bad at explaining things like this to the kids. They're so cute when they don't understand something, I just wanna burst from their cuteness." Eula says with excitement.
"You really do love kids don't you." Rook laughs. "Fine I will go." He sighs.
Eula always loved kids, she wanted to get married to someone and have her own, however, she is the Elven princess, hence her father, the king decides on who she marries. Additionally, Elves don't tend to have too many children, it's been like this since the start of the world.
Mikey and Lucy leave the hot springs and start exploring the village a little bit more. They get to know a few villagers. The one who strikes them the most, is the village's blacksmith. His name is Rody.
Rody shows Mikey and Lucy around his blacksmith, he shows them some of the weapons that he made, Rody is a dwarf.
"Mister blacksmith, these swords are really good! How did you make them?" Mikey grabs one of the swords and inspects it. It is a blade that resembles a japanese katana, the sword however, is blue. "What is this material? Is it a diamond?"
Rody: "No, that's steelium, it is an extremely hard metal, but also quite heavy, I am surprised you can wield it that easily, although you seem to be pretty strong physically."
Such a high quality weapons, such a talented blacksmith... and I am supposed to destroy this village? Mikey grips the sword hard.
"Mister Blacksmith, can you repair swords?" Mikey asks. "Oh while we are at that, can you repair daggers too?" Lucy pulls out The Nightmare.
"Show me your weapons." The blacksmith starts inspecting them for a moment.
Rody: "They are black and glowing with a purple color. Which means that they are enchanted and are made from the black steel, black steel is also a really good material... where did you get these?"
Lucy: "We defeated someone and they had it in their secret stash, can you repair them?"
Rody nods: "Yes, but of course, this won't be for free. I will be using some precious materials to fix this afterall."
Mikey: "How can we pay you?"
The Blacksmith hands them a map, it is a small map describing Heaven and its close surroundings.
"This is what the area would look like without the mist. You see that thing called the Cave Of Despair? It has a lot of important and rare ores, I would like to get my hands on a few of them, it would be nice if you could mine some of them and bring them here. Of course, if you find something that you're interested in, you can take it for yourselves. Do you guys take this quest or no?"
Mikey: "We would love to, right?"
Lucy: "Yeahhh.... I am not sure if it's safe after hearing the name of the cave."
Rody: "About that, the cave is actually safe for someone like you. I've heard from Commander Rook just how capable the two of you are. You won't have any problems. Although I guess I could warn you, the deeper you go, the more dangerous it gets. And beware, mimics reside in this cave."
