Mikey is digging deeper and deeper, until he finally reaches a cave.
He makes a torch, and starts exploring the area a little. It doesn't take long until he finds something worth a while.
It's a bunch of iron ores, he mines all of them and keeps exploring the cave. On his way, he finds a lot more ores. That includes some ores that he has never seen before, like Tungsten or Lead ore.
He doesn't know their use, but he figured he might aswell grab them.
Of course, besides finding ores, he finds a lot of monsters on his way too. He deals with them without any problems.
About half an hour after entering the cave, Mikey decides to sit down and rest. That's when he realizes that he's running short on food and water.
"Hmm, I wonder if I can find some food in here, my only chance is probably finding a mineshaft or something." He says.
"Well..." Mikey pulls out a rotten zombie flesh out of his inventory. (He got it from the zombies he killed)
"Worst case scenario... I'll have to eat this." He says in disgust.
Mikey rests for about an hour, then he decides to keep exploring the cave.
About another hour or so of exploring, Mikey stumbles upon a really strange part of the cave.
The path ahead splits into five different parts. Two of those paths are marked too, one with a skull and the other one with an iron pickaxe embedded in the wall. All of this means that someone must have been there before. The tunnels are supported by wood and are lit up very well.
"Did I stumble upon... Mineshafts?" Mikey asks himself. "Well, let's hope that I find something."
Mikey explores the unmarked paths first, he doesn't find anything worth noting.
He is left with a choice.
He can either go into the well lit up path marked with the pickaxe or into the unlit path marked with a skull.
Any normal person would go into the seemingly safer path, and surprise, surprise... so does Mikey.

However, he intends to explore the other path too. He is simply hoping that he might find some supplies in the path marked by the pickaxe.
He actually finds a bit of food and water in some minecart chests. After exploring the path for quite a while, he finds a way, which seems to be leading out of the cave. He also finds a letter in a chest which is right next to the exit. The problem is that he can't read it, it's writen in a strange symbol language.
Mikey goes all the way back and steps in front of the skull marked path. He puts his hands in the pockets and exhales deeply.
"Here goes nothing." He says and enters the path.
Right after he enters, he pulls out a torch. There's something carved on the wall. It is the same language as in that letter.
He still can't read it at all. The further Mikey goes, the darker and deeper the cave goes.
While travelling, he sees more writings, until he finally reaches a really narrow entrance.
There's a sign right above the entrance. Even though Mikey can't read it, he knows that the sign is telling him to get out of there. It's just a big red hexagon with some strange writing on it. The exact same as the stop sign.
Mikey however, as usual, doesn't care.
He realizes that he can't push himself through the narrow entrance, so he just carefully mines out a chunk out of it, and enters.
After entering, the cave stretches out insanely, not only that, there is a lot of unmined ores, and an entire abandomed mineshaft.
"Why the hell did they give all of those warning signs, this place is literally a really good mine." He says.
"Ohhh, maybe they didn't want anyone to steal from them so they decided to put up warning signs, that would make sense, it is for sure a good way to scare someone off..." Mikey realizes.
"But why is it abandomed then?"
"And, why are there so many unmined ores?" Mikey starts being suspicious about this situation.
Quickly enough, he realizes that there are no monsters spawning, even though it's dark.
He starts walking through the abandomed mineshaft. It doesn't take long until Mikey notices a strange presence around him.
He feels unsafe. Perhaps, all of those warning signs weren't a joke.
A few seconds later he turns around, and spots an abomination.
A disgusting creature.
A large humanoid monster. Long slender dark body, pretty similar to an Enderman.
Really big hands that could each wrap around Mikey's entire waist.
A terryfying white face, which almost looks like some kind of a mask from a horror movie.
The face has a sinister smile on it, the creature has red eyes.
No nose, very large black pointy ears.
Its face is really detailed, Mikey is able to see a lot of wrinkles on the monster's face, perhaps it's old or something?
Shivers run down his spine at first, the monster is looking at him with its red eyes.
It's about twice as tall as Mikey.
"Just what the hell are you?" Mikey asks and pulls out his Duskblade.
The monster starts laughing. It has a really shrill voice which shakes the entire cave.
It starts screaming while it runs towards Mikey.
It isn't moving too fast, so Mikey decides to turn around and create a distance to think things through.
But just as he turns around, the monster speeds up to a point that it grabs Mikey before he can start running.
Mikey struggles to get out of its grip, but he can't. the creature starts punching Mikey with its other hand.
[You have activated an ability of the "Ultimate Fighter"]
"DIE!" Mikey shouts and punches back.
The Ultimate Punch, as always, sends the monster flying into a wall. It crashes and the impact shakes the cave. For a moment, it looks like the entire cave could collapse at any moment. Thankfully, nothing happens.
Mikey runs towards the debris and the dust cloud which the impact created.
He wants to surprise the monster and hit it with another Ultimate Punch before it can recover.
But when he reaches the area of impact, there's no one there.
Mikey looks above himself and notices the Cave Dweller who climbed up the wall.
"Hell nah." Mikey says, he dusk steps in the air and attacks the monster with his sword.
Somehow, the hit connects and seems to damage the creature, but right after that it attacks back and pins Mikey to the ground.
It starts punching him and screaming in his face. The screams make Mikey literally shiver because of how loud they are.
Mikey manages to get out of the monster's bind and backs off for a bit.
"This is probably going to be hard huh." He says.
The monster laughs again and starts walking towards him VERY SLOWLY this time.
