Mikey, Lucy and Zoro are travelling towards the continent marked on their map. It's already been a day since Zoro joined them.

They visited three more islands, but there were no humans to be found on either one of them.

Mikey and Lucy started sparring with their new weapons in hope of awakening their abilities. Zoro is looking around through Mikey's telescope. Searching for something that would peek his interest.

Mikey and Lucy finish their sparring "session", Mikey comes up to Zoro and asks.

"Seen anything interesting yet?"

"No, why are you asking?"

"Come with me, I am going to show you something." Mikey tells Zoro.

Mikey and Zoro go into the quarterdeck, Zoro hands the telescope to Lucy and she keeps the watch.

"So, what did you want me to show?" Zoro asks.

"Look at this." Mikey points at the map that's on the table. "We are somewhere around here right now, and this is the closest island." Mike says.

"Yeah, what about it?" Zoro asks.

"Look at this." Mikey points his finger at a certain point on the map that is between them and the island, the point is marked with an X.

"Why did you mark that point?" Zoro asks.

"I didn't, it was already marked. There must be something there." Mikey responds.

"But, it's right ahead, correct?" Zoro asks.

"Yeah."

"Then, there's no way that there actually is something, I didn't see anything through the telescope." Zoro says.

"That might just b-"

"HEY GUYS! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" Lucy comes shouting in the quarterdeck.

"What's going on?" Mikey asks.

"I don't know what it is exactly, but there's some kind of a huge disgusting sea monster right next to us." Lucy says.

They come out of the quarterdeck and look around.

There are huge tentacles peeking out of water around the ship.

"This is probably a Kraken." Zoro says.

"A Kraken? Don't tell me those exist in this world." Lucy says.

"Anything can exist here, but the real question is, how are we going to deal with it?" Zoro asks.

"Use our attributes to overpower it, simple as that." Mikey says. "The only problem is, if it will try to sink our ship." He adds.

One of the Kraken's tentacles rises and comes crashing at Mikey's ship.

Zoro pulls out some kind of explosive out of his inventory and throws it at the tentacle.

It explodes and damages the Kraken's tentacle greatly. The tentacle retracts itself and doesn't crash with the ship.

"Where did you get those explosives?" Lucy asks.

"It has to do with one of my attributes. It's the same one that I used to kill that spider.'" Zoro answers.

Another tentacle rises and comes crashing aswell. This time lucy takes care of it with a fireball.

"What are we supposed to do here?" She asks. "We can't defeat by just throwing our skills at it." She continues.

"We will flee and try to protect the ship as we escape." Mikey says.

"I doubt we can go faster than that Kraken." Zoro says.

"Oh, you haven't seen what my attribute can do yet." Mikey says as he speeds up the ship to full speed.

(Your ship has arrived)

"Hey... what's that ship with all those Pirates?!" Zoro asks. He hasn't seen Mikey's ship yet, nor his spectral pirates.

"They are mine, they will help us." Mikey says as his spectral ship goes the opposite direction. Right towards the Kraken's tentacles.

The spectral ship reveals its cannons and starts shooting from them at the Kraken's tentacles. The Kraken is enraged and reveals itself.

It's enormous, the Spectral Pirates however are not scared at all. They charge at the Kraken and keep shooting at it. The Kraken starts slamming the spectral ship from all sides, destroying it at a very fast rate.

Meanwhile Mikey's ship managed to get quite far away. They're aiming for the closest island which should be about three thousand blocks (three kilometers) away from them.

The spectral ship is destroyed and dissapears.

[Your ship will take a long time to repair because it got destroyed. You won't be able to use it for a while]

Mikey orders the last spectral pirates to hold the kraken off for as long as possible. The Kraken however, pays no attention to the spectral pirates swimming in the ocean. It starts quickly swimming towards Mikey's ship instead.

Zoro pulls out what seems like a hunting rifle out of his inventory and loads it with a strange bullet.

Lucy's hair changes white as she starts forming an insanely strong wind.

The Kraken catches up to Mikey's ship easily and is about to smash it with a tentacle.

"Don't shoot Zoro! I got it." Lucy sends a really fast and thin wind slash towards the tentacle. The wind slash almost cuts through it, even though it didn't it still managed to deal a lot of damage.

The Kraken gets really angry and shows its face again as it is about to slam Mikey's ship with almost all of its usable tentacles at once.

Seven tentacles are coming down at Mikey's ship, all at once. Zoro shoots... right at the Kraken's face. Mikey jumps high in the air.

[You have activated an ability of the "Freestyle Fighter"]

Mikey starts crashing towards the Kraken with a flying kick. Lucy creates a wind spell which speeds up Mikey even more.

(BOOM)

Zoro's shot connects, it was an explosive ammo. The shot created an explosion and made the Kraken confused. Its tentacles still managed to hit the ship but without dealing any critical damage.

Before the Kraken realizes what's going on, Mikey already lands his kick straight at its giant eye.

(BOOM)

The fast landing creates a big shockwave and the Kraken makes an atrocious sound while falling back in the water.

Baby Kraken? That was a baby? Mikey asks himself in disbelief as he pulls out a boat out of his inventory, stops his ship and starts paddling towards it.

Suddenly a strange red mark appeares before his eyes, the mark looks very similar to the one on his map.

[You have been cursed by The Kraken. The Kraken's curse gives you the following.

1. A skill: "Kraken Slayer"

2. 100% increased damage taken from any Kraken type monster.

3. 50% increased damage towards any Kraken monster.

4. Nightmares about The Kraken.

5. The Kraken always knows your location, and you always know the Kraken's location.

6. There will be a red mark on your left wrist until you defeat the Kraken.

7. Once you defeat the Kraken, this curse will vanish and you will receive a special reward.

8. If you don't manage to defeat the Kraken in 1 year, you will DIE]

[Rewards: 50 Emerald nuggets]

[You have enough Emerald nuggets to allocate an S (Strenght/Speed/Stamina) point]

[The price for the first point was 100, this one is going to cost 110. The price will keep increasing until it reaches 1000. Don't worry, there are more ways of obtaining Emerald Nuggets and S points than by completing achievements]

"Well shit." Mikey says to himself.

Around a minute later he manages to get to the ship, Lucy creates a water spell that lifts him up and helps him get on the ship.

"Guys, did you receive it too?" Mikey asks.

"The curse and the achievement? Yeah..." Lucy says.

"This is very troublesome, and the fact that it was only a baby Kraken..." Zoro says.

"Oh, you got that achievement too?" Mikey asks.

"No, you probably received an achievement for killing it right? We received one for assisting you in killing it." Zoro says.

"That makes sense I guess." Mikey says as he opens his status.
