The ten Elven commanders and ten human representatives step out and meet eachother. "May peace be upon you, my friends," Jack says in a friendly manner, this is all according to the script.
"You know your way with words, human." One of the Elf commanders says, his appearance is that of an old man. Long gray hair, Dark green eyes, wrinkles, a curved sword sheated on his back.
"I hope that we can discuss without having to draw our weapons," Jack replies.
"I don't have a problem with that, however, we Elves have this tradition, when there are negotiations, the only ones who are allowed to speak are the leaders of each side," The old commander replies.
This is something that Jack knew, everyone from Unity Nexus knew it.
"In that case, let me allow to introduce myself," Alexander says and slightly bows down.
"Hmm, I meant the real leader, not the representative," The old man responds, Alexander is somewhat confused by his words.
"What do you mean? I am the leader," Alexander answers. The old man looks at Mikey: "But he's the strongest among you all isn't he? Humans don't choose their leader based on who is the strongest?"
Everyone is shook up, can the Elves see the numbers above the heads of players? Or perhaps... does one of the commanders have an ability that allows them to measure one's strenght?
It is true that Mikey is the strongest among the human army.
"That's right, Mikey is the strongest, but I am the leader." Alexander answers calmly. "Interesting, in that case let me respect your tradition and appoint myself as a representative. Miss Eula, are you okat with that?" The old commander looks at one of the commanders, it's a young, short female elf with long blonde hair and green eyes, she nods. This means that this female elf is the strongest among all of the commanders.
"Now then, we not only have the strongest member of each party appointed, but also the person who's most capable of negotiations," The old elf commander remarks.
Elves have a tradition. When there are pre-war negotiatons, each side appoints a leader, they always choose whoever is the strongest, because that leader will have to fight to death with the other Elven leader if it comes down to a war.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
The Elven leaders don't have to necesserally kill eachother, however, based on the outcome of the match, both sides can usually decide whether to continue the war or give up, since if your leader is weaker, you're at a massive disadvantage. Elfs only conflict over things that have an immense importance. There aren't that many Elves in this world either, so any unnecesary casulties aren't good.
By only making each leader fight, they can avoid these unwanted deaths, for the most part atleast.
The old commander thought that humans had a tradition where they would appoint a leader not based on their strenght, but based on their negotiaton skills. Which is why he respected this rule.
This wasn't exactly according to everyone's plan, the only ones who knew about this, were Roger and Mikey. This was the valuable secret information that Roger gave to Mikey.
This means that now it's between Alexander and the old commander. If they can't come to a conclusion, then Mikey and Eula, the strongest Elven commander, will have to fight eachother.
A tent is set up by the Elven army, Mikey, Roger, and the two Elven commanders are the only ones that step in, after that, another Elven commander sets up a barrier that doesn't let anyone see or hear what is going on inside, even Lucy's attribute can't get through.
"So, you humans, this is actually my first time talking to you, first of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Iorhael, and this is Princess Eula."
"I am Alexander, and this is Mikey, nice to meet you," Alexander replies.
"I'll get straight to the point Mister Alexander, I don't want to wage a war with you humans, but I have some questions regarding your kind. We've known about your presence here for quite some time, but we didn't mind you guys, since you weren't doing any damage to this world, that changed a few weeks ago, we were getting several reports everyday regarding humans, who were fighting against eachother and destroying large areas as collateral damage, what was that about?"
"That would have to be the bounty event, but I think I will have to explain from the very beginning if you guys want to understand what the hell am I about to tell you." Alexander answers.
"I planned on asking how did you get here aswell, so that's not a problem," Iorhael points out.
Alexander goes on to explain exactly how they got here and what they've been told, he also explained the bounty event, hence, why were humans fighting amongst one another.
The old commander looks at Princess Eula. "It surprises even me, but he's not lying," She says.
Does she have a lie detector in her head or what? Mikey thinks to himself.
"In that case, do you think the same could have happened to all the Elves that suddenly dissapeared?" The old commander asks Eula. "Maybe," Eula answers mysteriously.
"Wait, what happened?" Alexander asks. "A few months ago, exactly when you guys appeared, about ten thousand Elves suddenly dissapeared," The old commander says.
"Yes, that could be it. Perhaps they could have ended up in our world." Mikey crosses his arms. "By the way, we were given the information that you guys claim this continent as yours, which is why we thought you were going to wage a war against us in the first place, is it true? Do you own this island?" Mikey asks.
"Did a human give you this information?" Eula asks. "Yeah," Mikey replies.
"No, the continent is not ours, the only ones who live there are vikings, who live in the mountains." The old man says.
Hmm, vikings in the mountains, that's where Ragnar went, I am pretty certain. Mikey remembers.
"So you only came here because you were worried about all of the damage that we were doing?" Alexander asks.
"Pretty much," Iorhael says. "We were worried about you guys going for us next, well, we are confident in defeating you, however, we are in a war against the dwarves right now, so it would be problematic," Iorhael says with a light smirk on his face.
"You're confident in defeating us? Then why not let me and Princess Eula have a friendly battle? Since we are the strongest here?" Mikey smiles.
"What are you thinking?!" Alexander quietly shouts at Mikey.
"Oh, I don't think that's necessary, we don't plan on going into a war afterall," Iorhael says.
"I AM IN!" Eula stands up from her chair all excited.
"I knew you would," Mikey smiles.
