As Mikey and Lucy are about to leave the village, Ignis approaches them.

"Where are you guys going?" He asks them.

"We are about to go to this one cave. Rody The Blacksmith gave us a list of a few things that we should grab." Mikey answers.

"We already told Eula, haven't seen anyone else so we figured that she would let you guys know." Lucy mentions.

Ignis: "Oh, I haven't seen her for some time either, I was watching the village this whole time and saw you guys leaving, anyways, by cave, I assume you mean the Cave Of Despair?"

Mikey: "Yes, that one. You knew about it?"

Ignis: "Of course, I've been to this village a countless times. I've been in that cave a few times too, if I was you guys I would be careful. Also, take this and read it once you enter the cave." Ignis hands Mikey a letter.

Mikey and Lucy leave and enter the mist.

"What do you think is in that letter?" Lucy asks Mikey.

"I don't know, maybe he is going to warn me about the assasins? Or maybe he's trying to contact me regarding what is happening in Heaven?" Mikey assumes.

Lucy: "Isn't it too early for him to be contacting you? I think that he's probably contacting you regarding the assasins. They could follow us into the cave afterall."

"Maybe, but he seemed really inclined about destroying this village. There has to be some secret that the villagers are holding. We need to find out what it is." Mikey says. "Stay near me, the mimics might come out."

Lucy gets closer to Mikey.

"If we get separated, I will message you with my attribute." Lucy says and watches their back, as they travel towards the cave. "My attribute hasn't picked up on the assasins, so I am not sure if they're following us or not."

Surprisingly, nothing bad happens, and both of them safely reach the cave.

"Alright, so, what materials are we looking for?" Lucy asks, Mikey hands her the note that the blacksmith left them. Simultaniously, he opens the note from Ignis, and starts reading it.

[Mikey, the king doesn't trust you. He thinks that you are the one planning on destroying the village. He sent several of his best assasins to kill you. I am sure that they will be trying their best to kill you.

I am not sure how many there are, but I succesfully bribed five of them, and told them to just go into hiding until this mission is over]

"He bribed them?" Lucy peeks over Mikey's shoulder.

"I am pretty sure that he just killed them to be honest." Mikey says.

"You think he is that strong?" Lucy raises her eyebrow.

"I am not sure." Mikey closes the letter.

"What was in the blacksmith's note?" Mikey turns to Lucy, who hands him the note.

"Nothing much, only what we should look for and a short description of the materials, and also a few monsters that we should look out for." Lucy answers.

"Coal, iron, diamonds, steelium, black steel and rubidium." Mikey reads the note out loud.

Lucy: "Mikey? I have a proposal."

Mikey: "What is it?"

Lucy: "You know what my event quest is right?"

Mikey: "Mastering each elemental combination right?"

Lucy: "Yes. With that said, let me do all the fighting down here, only watch my back if needed, is that fine with you? I need to train as much as possible."

Mikey: "Yeah, no problem at all."

"Anyways, let's start right away. We don't wanna take too long." Mikey takes out a torch out of his inventory and enlightens the dark cave. Lucy stays behind him, ready to cast a spell at any monster that approaches them.

Soon, zombies and skeletons start spawning in the cave. Lucy uses only her elemental attribute to deal with them. Everything goes smoothly as the two of them delve deeper into the caves, where they find a lot of coal. They use some of it to craft more torches and mark the path back up. Everything is still going smoothly and they find iron too.

"We won't find the other ores here right?" Lucy asks Mikey and looks below them, there is a pitch black darkness below them, filled with monsters and rare metals.

"I still get flashbacks from that Cave Dweller." Mikey says and looks down.

"It is dead now right? No need to worry about something like that anymore. However." Lucy comes closer to Mikey.

"I am not sure if this is safe, so I will send you a message." She whispers to Mikey's ear.

Mikey looks at Lucy all confused.

[Mikey, the assasins are already onto us, my attribute noticed them. Be REALLY careful. We might want up an ambush. There's just one problem, I don't even know how many of them are here, just be careful for now...]

Mikey reads the message and looks at Lucy. They both nod and start descending the cave to the pitch black darkness below.

They act clueless and just clear the monsters infront of them. Eventually, both of them descend the cave to the bottom.

They enter a narrow path and decide to fully light it up with torches. This way, it will be hard for the assasins to follow them. Without them being seen.

The assasin who was closest to the two of them notices it. He is shocked by it.

Did they do this on purpose? If yes, then they must know about us. This is troublesome. He thinks to himself and walks back to some of the other assasins who are behind him. He alerts them that Lucy and Mikey might be onto them.

"Oh, isn't that?" Lucy finds an ore and inspects it.

"Yeah! That's steelium. We got lucky, the blacksmith said that it's really rare." Mikey starts mining, but soon realizes that there was only a little of steelium in the vein they found.

"Well, it looks like, we will have to keep searching, for this one. We still need rubidium and black steel anyway so it doesn't matter." Mikey announces.

"Let's wait here for a little bit Mikey. Let's hide in the dark and see if one of the assasins passes through." Lucy suggests.

"You know what? I don't know how I didn't think of this sooner." Mikey summons a spectral pirate.

"Keep watch of this tunnel. Don't fight any monsters, only wait for assasins to come through this tunnel, when that happens, just fight them." Mikey gives the pirate an order who starts loyally guarding the narrow tunnel.

"If this one gets defeated, I will know that those guys are nearby." Mikey and Lucy head further into the cave.

"What if the assasins bury us alive?" Lucy asks. "I am scared of small spaces."

"Is that why you've been clinging on to me since we entered the narrow path?" Mikey laughs, Lucy playfully punches him.

"We will just dig out, that's pretty simple isn't it?" Mikey smiles.

"Oh right, we are pretty much in Minecraft, I keep forgetting." Lucy laughs.
