Two days have passed.

The bounty event will finally end soon.

Mikey didn't have to fight anyone during the two days, he was only pursued by a bunch of slower players.

Zoro and Ragnar on the other hand... didn't fare as well as Mikey.

The Old Man fought with Zoro for two hours straight. Their fight kept escalating more and more. They were unlocking new abilities during their fight. No one could interrupt their fight either, there were no openings from the outside.

During the fight, Zoro's mental state kept deteorating because of the constant explosions. It got so bad that Zoro actually lost his hearing.

But actually, believe it or not, this ultimately ended up helping him, because he could just straight up spam his explosives. He unlocked a new skill thanks to his explosive attribute too. The skill works mysteriously, but it seems to be compensating Zoro's deafness without him having to suffer from explosions that he created.

After some more fighting, the fight ended in both of them completely losing their stamina and not being able to fight anymore. Ragnar who was fighting in the nearby area noticed it, grabbed Zoro, and ran away.

Lucy was watching them from skies while riding a dragon. Once Ragnar carried Zoro into a safe area, she descended and joined them.

Christina was just running circles around players and gunning them down in the process. She had to kill one person in the process, she really didn't want to, but she always values her life over someone's else's.

The person had a hefty bounty on his head.

With that, Christina received a lot of Emerald Nuggets, she transffered them into SSS points and used all of them to upgrade her speed and stamina.

Christina became the fastest human.

Well, it seemed like that would be the case, until she met a certain someone.

Christina saw that Mikey isn't that far away from her, so she decided to go towards him. But on her way there, she stumbled upon someone.

"Who are you?" Christina asks the man standing around several dead bodies.

His rank is 18 and there are five dead bodies around him, all of those bodies seem to have been poisoned by the poison cloud that spreads all around them.

The poison was coming from the man's back. He is carrying a strange cannister. The cannister is filled with poison gas.

The man has a bandage wrapped around his face. Both of his eyes are green, they are the same color as his poison.

He has short brown hair and an average build, long legs and seems to be in his 30's. His legs and arms are wrapped in bandages aswell.

"Hmm, another challenger?" He asks Christina.

Besides the large poison cannister on his back, he is holding a bulwark shield strapped to his right hand.

"I don't want to fight, I am simply passing by." Christina says.

"Hmm, well, I do. Since coming to this world of no laws, life has been so much better... Get ready." The man replies and looks at Christina.

Christina takes out her hand cannon and aims it at him. He drinks a strange potion which makes his hair and eyes turn white.

Christina shoots her hand cannon at him. The man actually DODGES her shot.

How is he so fast?

The man starts running towards Christina, easily outrunning her while managing to dodge every single one of her shots aswell. The cannister is leaving a poison trail behind him.

A moment later, and he's in a "punching" range of Christina. She aims her hand cannon at his forehead, but the man receives an insane speed buff for a moment and suddenly appears behind Christina. He then grabs her, and flings her over his shoulder into his poison trail.

While in mid-air, Christina manages to shoot her hand cannon and hit the man's leg.

The man quickly runs away and drinks a potion that starts healing his injured leg.

Meanwhile, Christina is suffering in the poison trail. She's losing her hearts and feeling really dizzy. The poison wears off after a few seconds, but it still leaves its aftereffects on Christina.

Christina starts running away again, this time she focuses on only running away with the perfect form and as fast as she can.

Surely he won't can't catch me, I am the fastest. Christina thinks to herself.

But she is wrong... this man is actually just faster.

He changes his running form and catches up to Christina in no time.

Basilisk, that's the name he goes by. This man is the fastest human on this planet. This is because of his legendary attribute... The Ultimate Runner.

After a few seconds, Christina realizes that she has no chance of outrunning the man.

That's why she completely changes her strategy. Christina turns around and aims her pistol at the man.

A large magazine appears on Christina's hand cannon. Basilisk notices it and realizes what is about to go down.

Christina starts literally spraying him with bullets, he manages to dodge most of them.

Christina reloads and as Basilisk reaches her, and gets ready to fling her again, she simply jumps back and starts spraying again.

But Basilisk receives a huge speed buff again and appears right next to Christina.

He flings her into his poison trail once again.

Basilisk gets hit a few times with Christina's bullets, but his regeneration is really fast. Thanks to that, he doesn't have a problem with just running and running.

Basilisk starts running in circles around Christina.

Christina realizes that Basilisk always receives a huge speed buff whenever he gets into her punching range.

Which leaves Christina only one choice. She can't run away, instead, she needs to focus on ONLY shooting the man, nothing else.

But before she does that, she takes out wood out of her inventory and builds a few blocks up.

She starts shooting Basilisk from a height advantage. But Basilisk dodges all attacks and then simply runs through the wooden "tower" and collapses the entire thing.

A cycle starts, a cycle of Basilisk running in circles, constantly flinging Christina, and Christina constantly shooting him. The problem is, Basilisk's defenses and endurance are so big, that if this keeps up, Christina will die and Basilisk won't.

(Three minutes later)

For the 9th time, Basilisk walks up to Christina, and just when he's about to fling her... Mikey teleports right next to him.

[You have activated an ability of the "Ultimate Fighter"]

Basilisk reacts quickly and blocks Mikey's Ultimate Punch with his bulwark. Thanks to that, his defenses, and his potions, he only takes reduced damage.

However, Ultimate Punch is an Ultimate Punch. Basilisk still takes a ton of damage.

Mikey starts chasing Basilisk. He's following him even through his poison trail. Basilisk is running away, Mikey is slowly catching up to him while combining running and teleportation.

Christina changes her weapon mod and starts tracking Basilisk from over 100 meters away.

Christina shoots, Basilisk literally ducks her shot, but this allows Mikey to catch up.

But just when Mikey reaches Basilisk, he gets his sudden speed boost, uses a running skill, and runs off so far away that Mikey can't even see him anymore. Basilisk's speed broke the sound barrier for a moment.

Mikey quickly steps off of the poison trail, which left its mark while he was running through it.

Mikey and Christina walk up to eachother, they talk about what happened in the past few days.

"By the way, how did you just suddenly appear here?" Christina asks Mikey.

"Yeah, about that..."
