The second I returned to my trap lair under Star City, my mind was flooded with the clairvoyance ability, plus telepathy englobing the entire planet.
I had some experience with both, due to the locus nexus located just under my lair, which also provided a similar experience, if magical not psionic in nature, but with a far smaller range.
But now, I could see and hear everyone and everything on Earth, except dozens of places protected from scrying or similar abilities.
I also located another Lazarus Pit on Infinity_Island in the Indian Ocean, and teleported inside the cave the next second. It seems the League of Assassins discovered the magical nexus centuries ago, but kept it hidden and unused, for some reason. My gain, since an untapped reservoir of Lazarus water should be enough to keep me alive even during the incoming 'incredible pain' that was certain to happen soon.
Naked, and holding a holy spear in hand, I took out the Great Radiance vial, and knew what it would do. It will probably kill me anyways for about 15% gain to my stats.
Was I afraid? Not of death. Of wasting a precious life maybe.
I pushed the Lantern Ring to give me the most it could give, and drank the miracle.

Incredibly Painful.
*Due to using the Book of Destiny and the Spear of Destiny for its creation, this Miracle will remain even after the universe's death and will restore the user to life, once. Cannot be removed.
Two human words that should never be used together. Incredible and pain.
I saw my life flash before my eyes, and died in a lightning bolt, then lived again as a Gamer in another, maybe parallel universe. Only the lightning didn't stop, and kept coursing through my body and nerves and mind, while my soul fought desperately to resist. Resist! Resist! Resist! Resist!
I had my Pain suppression upgraded, I had Soul Block at 50 %. The pain should be something like 10 to 15% of its original strength. I was also draining an untouched Lazarus Pit.
The ring told me it had been only 24 seconds, but it felt like 24 centuries of crazy, insane pain that should kill anyone. And it did.
*The Gamer has willingly endured an incredibly painful event. Gamer has died. By a Miracle, the Gamer returns to life, but spends 1 extra life in the process.
-By choosing the make the ultimate sacrifice, the Gamer has gained a new Perk: Sacrifice. By spending another precious life, the Gamer can kill anything by pointing at the target and saying 'eid'.
+Logic 10
+Awareness +10
-Tertiary profession upgrades to Great detective. +10 to all attributes, + 20 to Logic and Awareness Skills.
-Pain threshold reached. Pain beyond pain is slightly mitigated. Incredibly painful events now have a maximum limit.

I just floated in the life waters of the Lazarus Pit, and noted in my status screen that the first Radiance Miracle had vanished, and was replaced with the Great Radiance instead, keeping my extra lives at +3, but adding +1% to All Resist. It was 99% now, which may not seem much, but it actually doubled my resistance. Also some +90 to all attributes, due to being a higher level Miracle than the Radiance 9.0 I first drank, and a minor boost to all Skills.
And in two levels, I would get another 1% from my Adept Path, and become immune to physical damage.
The Soul Block was also 60% now, and Pain Suppression at 90%. I would only get 4% of the remaining pain, 60% of the 10% pain I still felt.
A life well spent, seeing as the System rewarded me with that crazy Perk. Three extra lives, meaning three overpowered entities that I could kill, should I have enough time to speak the Power Word Kill spell.
Still floating in my pit, I opened my eyes to find Gabriel and Lucifer floating above, a bit more ghostly than usual, since they were not summoned. Possibly energy bodies instead.
"I'm not sharing my magic waters with either of you. Go away!" I muttered in a displeased voice. Curious angels, even fallen ones...likely waiting to see which way my soul will go when I died.
Lucifer glanced at Gabriel, then sighed. "Not today, it seems." he spoke in a mild voice and vanished.
Gabriel remained for a few seconds, and stared at the Lazarus Pit instead. "It wasn't the magic water that brought you back from death, was it?" the archangel asked a bit suspicious.
"If you have to ask, you don't need to know." I answered with slight sarcasm, and closed my eyes again. It felt good to have special knowledge.
"...the Lantern ring, perhaps?" Gabriel said to himself and vanished from my perception.
I checked my ring, and indeed it was depleted of energy and had become visible again. Oh well. It wasn't like these two would go around spreading word of my new Lantern status.

And I could also kill them, if they did.
I glanced inside my inventory and checked the magic lantern, to find it had also changed a little.
*Green Lantern Battery, contains the Starheart. Tier 1 sentient artifact. When bound to a user grants +2000 to All Attributes via a Power Ring and + 50 Lore Skill. Partial release via willpower grants up to +11000 to all attributes. Recharges automatically via the Starheart. Starheart entity interest at 3.14%. The Lantern can be summoned at your will.
My high intellect instantly calculated the next power equation. If 3% gave me 1000 max points, then 30% would give me 10000 max points. Thus 90% some 30000 points. And maybe even 100% one day?
I also had the feeling this Starheart entity wasn't easily roused or convinced to lend a hand. And was the interest of a Tier 1 entity a good thing?
In a minute, the ring recharged and became invisible again, but it was a good warning that I couldn't depend on the ring for everything.
I was also quite lucky to have found the only magic lantern in the universe, as the rest of them did not grant Magic powers at all.
Funnily enough, the ring also provided a reasonable explanation why I survived after I died. I was not the only Lantern to have revived by their ring, but certainly not from the kind of incredible pain I put myself through.
Which also proved I still lacked Wisdom. I could have waited 24 hours and withstand death via my new Adeptus limit. Or maybe split my mind and let a single consciousness process endure everything and die.
I wasted a perfectly good life, for nothing.
Damn Pef! So smart, and yet still stupid.
*New optional quest received.
Reach 5000 WIS so you don't make stupid choices so often.
Thanks, System! That was just the right quest for this moment.
I glanced at the half depleted Lazarus waters, wasted for nothing. Another stupid idea, from the best wizard on the planet.
I scooped a dozen bathtubs worth of Lazarus water into my inventory, then teleported back home.
I had three pregnant wives now, with Diana being the latest.
"You look like Hell, Wizard." Diana observed in a wise voice.
"Yeah. I died again, and Lucifer showed up to collect. I had to chase him away." I muttered in a gruff voice, and went to brew myself some coffee.
My pregnant wives gathered behind me in the kitchen, waiting for a proper explanation.
"Talk, now!" Supergirl demanded and showed me her cute fist.
Peach just blinked at me, just as cutely.
Instead, I took out three Great Radiance Miracles and set them on the table, beside my coffee. "I managed to create a true Miracle, something like half a Kryptonian's power, without any drawbacks. But the pain was too great and I died. Lost another life." I explained in a polite voice.
Diana picked up a vial and examined it with her amazing powers. "Far stronger than half a Kryptonian. This has a divine spark, and grants powerful magic equal to my own. And several other things, all worth a small country by themselves." she concluded and set the vial down with a shudder.
"Yes, and it also grants a second life, after the pain kills you. I'll leave one vial at the Justice League, for anyone brave enough to try." I explained with a shrug.
Perhaps Hal Jordan will be stupid enough to try? I should give him a Lesser Radiance first though. Or maybe not. The pain will kill him either way, and waste a precious Miracle.
Nah, better use these Miracles on my women. The ones not pregnant.
I stored the vials before Peach gathered enough courage to drink one. She would live, after a fashion, but the baby would not.
Wonder Woman poked me in the forehead. "Do not give this to anyone else, my smart but moron husband. I mean, not to anyone alive. Much better to use them to revive someone already dead, then kill them first." she spoke with amazing wisdom.
I sighed and sipped my bitter coffee in silence. I should focus on Wisdom next, like the System hinted.
"I told them about Lemon." Peach added as a final point.
I just nodded, and allowed Kara to punch me in the eye. 1% of actual damage, minus 410 Deflection, barely moved my health bar and induced no pain at all "I deserve that, my dear alien wife. But some things have to be done. Lemon will reach the level of a Green Lantern in time, same as Maxima. They can create energy constructs already, just need extra Miracles."
"Maxima? That queen that chased after Kal El?" Supergirl yelled even angrier. Made her flush and look even sexier.
"Maxima just wanted a strong man to give her babies. With my help, Earth will gain a powerful ally in the galaxy and Superman will be rid of a nuisance. Plus we avoid war with a planet filled with people like her."
"And your dick will get wet a few times." Peach observed smartly.
I smiled and dropped my pants, showing a dry dick needing relief. "Kara, you're first." I decided on a whim, and maybe because she was still angry.
"Fine! But not here! Take me to the Moon!" Supergirl demanded in a gruff voice.
I never had a blowjob on the Moon, and was quite curious too. It was quite incredible, I admit.
