"I wanted to see the man who killed my father. And then kill him." she answered in a harsh voice, and shot me with an arrow, right in the heart.

I sipped my drink without a care, and drew Nyssa at my side too. "I almost like her. Direct, no subterfuge. A bit dumb, but then she never had to think for herself."

Nyssa chuckled and grabbed a drink as well. "Father was a monster. I hoped the Arrow could kill him. That would have made me the new Ra's wife, and gave me control over Tibet. He wouldn't have left Star City anyways."

"I have a new AAA Twin-linked Chaincannon if you want to try to fight me. I'll use a spoon." I said towards Talia, and drew a massive 14 Barrels chain gun, split into twin 7 parallel guns.

Talia blinked in surprise at my gun, then back at Nyssa.

"Really? This is the surprise I was promised, sister?" she yelled at Nyssa in outrage.

"I want a gun like that too, hubby. Talia isn't even your wife." Nyssa said with a pout, and an admiring look at my anti-missile defense gun.

"I can't lift that huge gun..." Talia muttered in a more interested voice.

"It has anti-grav support. And 20 million rounds in a quantum-field ammo box. 10 million for each twin." I explained patiently, then walked out from the cave, where a hundred Assassins and a dozen of Talia's people were waiting to see who will die today.

"Ra's!" my murderous criminals yelled and knelt in obedience.

I left the gun floating, and jumped some 50 meters away, then drew out a spoon. "Start shooting, Talia!" I yelled and waved my spoon like a wand.

"Take this!" Talia yelled and began shooting a twin stream of .50 cal bullets, spending like 60000 dollars per second.

I only buffed myself for AGI and PER, and began to dodge and parry the bullets, with my soup spoon.

I could feel myself getting better and better with each second, even if rounds still bounced off my Deflection half the time. Then I took a step forward, pushing myself to react even faster. Then another step.

Talia began waving the gun a little, to change the dispersion pattern and make my trial even harder. I took another step forward, then another.

Another Perk must have upgraded, as things became easier once more. Another step then. I knew this gun will be handy.

An hour later, I was only 10 meters away from Talia, who kept shooting me with a giant grin on her face.

So I held a hand out front, and began stopping the rounds in the air, with magic, while advancing towards her, until I reached Talia and bonked her head with my spoon.

"Talia 0, spoon 1." I announced in a serious voice, then stored the gun away.

"You heard your sister, Nyssa. Stealthy removal, poison or blackmail as much as possible." I said in a mild voice, and poured myself a drink. It was finally starting.

"Want to take point on this op, Talia?" I asked next, and poured her a full glass.

Talia hesitated for a minute, then glanced at a hopeful Nyssa. "Assassins saving people from hunger. How far we've fallen." she grumbled and sipped some booze.

"The country is quite rich in minerals. I'll have the White Leader establish a mining industry and factories, once the policy is secured. Good wages, some roads and trains, clean apartments. And the hospitals granted access to Appleseed and Best Cure. I'm curious how far we can raise a poor country." I mused in my glass, while Talia glanced at me in surprise.
