Following this desire seems like a task on its own, and it doesn't seem to be a sensible start. First, William should start thinking about the way Tiberon acts, feels, and how his Domain works. Almost all of this is something he does for the first time, which adds some variables to his actions.
That is to be careful, and not too quick in his steps. It is how Romain mentioned it. Careful steps follow rightful choice.
This is achievable by focusing more attention on the surroundings, mainly by the use of Velvet Eyes.
Eyes glowing, William feels as if every detail in his surroundings speaks many values, and mashes together. He halts and jots his sight away, closing his eyes at the end when he focuses on his Velvet Eyes a bit too much.
Way too many things go around, and it seems, Tiberon counters it by focusing on strengthening the Domain, which affects Velvet Eyes's ability to see details of his Vectors. That is a nice trick to crease and see the limits of one's eye skill, and Tiberon now knows where William's limits are.
It isn't far off from unique Eye Skills, but he is still rather reluctant about their details. In the previous attack, William pushed forth in strange ways. It affected nothing much. He rushed towards him and ignored his domain, which should be quite hard.
He wishes to see him do it again, desiring to uncover his secrets. He bets his Vectors may have some disadvantage, or William counters his Gravity Domain in some way.
He definitively heard of some strange domination-type elements--a subject where one element dominates over the other--and Vectors who could move against the common rules. Even with his Rank 8 status in place, he doesn't necessarily feel inclined to be the most powerful in the world, let alone in this archipelago.
“Kiddo...” He starts to speak but stops halfway through. It seems he lacks any kind of argument, which stems from his own status.
He shouldn't force things around and he won't do so.
Instead, he sights and leans on his chair. “Fine... Fine. I will push your limits then since time and situations call for it. Give your Emblem and Skills a try. Be it those eyes or your claw. Annihilation can go wild doo. I don't give a single breath.”
William is standing further away, looking at nothing in particular, but steading his Emblem, and noting his cycles. He doesn't want to speak. Every energy counts, and words are useless.
Then, the sea of pressure comes back, while the Jawran is no longer around. The waves turn pristine, adding to more complexity in their density--like hands, and proper Vectors, but harder to see under normal vision.
It envelops him, forcing his back to bend, and head to jolt aside.
William grunts, enduring this as best he could by swinging and placing his Vector Claw before him to see if it could even do something. He has yet to try it after all.
Swings crease small waves of Vectors around, but Gravity is strong, moving back together, and doesn't change much at all. Some of his cleaves move past the pressuring incoming waves, halting them, but it also halts his claw, damaging it in the process. It is as if he is fighting with the air itself, which seems silly from the outside perspective, but William feels he is fighting the worst enemy of his life.
Many strands even move around his Vectors, bearing their pressure onto his body in wild to thin layers.
At this time, he notices their moves, and how they seem like true watery waves. Water is thick and hard to tame as they are a singular entity. Vectors shouldn't be like that. At least his aren't that, but that doesn't mean other Vectors can't be unique. Tiberon is obviously powerful, and his Vectors went through 3rd Overlapping changes, which amounts to a vast and powerful strengthening process in his Emblem's structure.
His are different in their structure and movements, and William can't see them well because they are way too clustered together. One of those waves smacks him in the chest and face, slapping so hard, he bounces away, ending up baring his back against a wall.
Coughing, he sees it enough. The Gravity Domain is ever-changing, affecting the waves and acting under Tiberon, or its own rules. He could also do something with his own Claw, but how much? It is like currents of water, but it is gravity, which is what?
William is a bit helpless under this vision since he doesn't seem all that knowledgeable about this topic. Gravity isn't something hard to describe, but how it works is another thing. In fact, it is and always will be one of the most mysterious effects of the universe, and Walkers seems to possess this sort of power.
From his Velvet Eyes, he could see how it goes. It almost appears as if Tiberon is a sun, which emits surges of heat, but instead of that, he is emitting a constant pressure of those gravitational waves. Suns also emit gravity, as any sun or planet does to some extent, albeit it depends on their weight, mass, and type.
There are even black holes, which used to be an incredible topic prior to the apocalypse and something that the world saw in an incredible and mysterious light, or the lack of it. Almost all of it is unimportant at the present times. Even though this history hasn't been lost, scientists and people focus on what is going on the surface, rather than on the starry sky.
That is sensible, and fitting enough so nobody complains about t.
Gravity in the pretext of Walkers is a mild topic in early Ranks, but it can become a huge deal. Gravitational pressure is strong, or weak, depending on Walkers and their own will and what they could manage with it. It can even move, push, or curve the reality or one's mind, and move anything according to one's desires. It is quite a powerful object of interest, but it isn't that alone because of it. It is so strong, because of the Walker, not the other way around.
That is the universal truth around all kinds of Walkers. Talent and how one uses their power are what is important. It goes as it should.
Tiberon is Rank 8, and one of the few who has this sort of insane power in this world, filled with dangers that even he fears.
More than 100 years passed since the start of it all, yet he isn't old, nor close to the 1st generation of Walkers. That means many things, while present living is worsening because Walkers have a harder time of replenishing their numbers, than dark beings.
It is because of the time.
Humans grow for quite a long time, giving dark beings time to slaughter them before becoming a threat. This sort of issue takes interest in the inventions of the Awakening, but it doesn't help much. Only if other decades or a century comes into play, do some think it will change some status quo.
An earlier start in Rank 1 allows more potential, but also more destabilized Emblems. It is a double-edged sword, which is something not many Walkers think, or organization fears. It is a war against time and monsters alike, so some arguments are prone to excuses.
Though, it is wishful thinking right about now, and Emblem Acadamy knows it. Thus, it is fine to act in the present, rather than the future. They want power, talent, and Walkers who could cherish their time and future to make that future a reality. And that is what time and new generations are about, which is where Trials and harsh requirements are coming from. It is to make up elites to guide others. It is what a lot of present high-end officers in the Emblem Academy are--old, but not that old. Some are 2nd generation Walkers, while others 3rd, or more. Few are around from the time of the 1st generation. Those are old folks by now, fed up, or retired in their hopes.
There are certain plans in many layers, while all of it is in the hands of certain Walkers, or hopeful ones.
Tiberon is among many other Rank 8s, who are all serious people. They have their fair share of unique eccentric personalities because of what they endured on their journeys. It isn't anything but worth praising, yet they don't think of it in this light. They are looking at the world in a vast picture of death, and even losses of friends is a regular sight, while countless people are dying left and right.
Humanity can lose much more than in some wars. They can lose their entire existence, and all they have is their decreasing numbers.
Tiberon views William as a potential candidate for the future. There have been hundreds of such youths in his memory, yet how many lives today? How many reached proper adulthood? Half? Quarter? He doesn't care about those numbers, but he sees a potential where he knows it.
Especially in today's age, where talent and strange things are happening, one has to be careful. Tides are changing on both sides, and it is up to the power to lead the younger generation to hope for the future.
William, with his eyes wide open glares at Tiberon, waiting for something to start or end. The pressure is enveloping his whole, and he endures it to the bitter end through his stubbornness.
Tiberon is silent, and pulling him through many rising tides as if trying to crush his body and spirit. He no longer relies on the Mind Flare, pushing with his Gravity Domain to encompass him whole. This also puts a certain pressure on his spirit too. Body and mind are connected in many ways one would think. It acts with pain, emotions of various positives or negativities, and so on. It is important to have them all in check, but it is hardly possible in a place of fear for one's life.
Dark beings are experts in ushering their destruction and fear onto others. They appear to bathe and take it as their main priority, right outside the flesh and blood.
William hates the idea to spread his blood or organs around, similar to how he dislikes noises or pain. It is natural, he would tell.
Inner Enchantment helps him with that, as it is sturdy, yet even it flickers at some section, wavering around the head, left hand, and both feet. Those all become wobbly until he is forced to kneel on the ground, where he smashes his claw to the ground to remain with his back straight. He is yet to acknowledge defeat.
That is good, but how long it will last?
Then, a change occurs that he previously hasn't noticed. A distinct wave is noticed by his Velvet Eyes since this Skill is providing him with the mild effect of seeking Arcanite properties. It is a universal kind of effect, giving him the power to see things in intricate detail, which isn't about Arcanite alone. He could see better at night or brightness, while even regular elements are prone to more details.
Arcanite Vectors is what he is watching for the past 5 minutes, yet it changes from time to time. It may be an effect of his own smacks of his Claw, which may affect those waves too, or Tiberon is changing them on a whim. William couldn't tell which is the case, nor he knows the context to see what it could even mean.
But watching the flow of Gravity Vectors in this situation is already enough to get some ideas. It means he is no longer blind and sees things in a better light. And William prefers the idea of not being like a blind pig.
He notices that another stronger wave is coming to smash his face, so he forces his posture down and jumps to his right side, dodging this wave altogether by rolling away. Some of the Gravity waves force him to fall and he fails in doing a proper roll. Still, it forces him further enough, which ends up being better, even though he yelps against tough gravity.
“Huh? Did you dodge that for real?“ Tiberon asks. “Is your eye skill able to watch the Gravity of such folded and dense Arcanite matter like mine? Even at that speed and in evolved ways? Wait... it requires coordination, but a good sight is a good beginning.” he says, unsure about something, but regardless of that, he notes how witty and fast William reacts with his eyes and reflexes.
He does it much more smoothly than one would guess, and it took him barely a few minutes to do so under the current power of his Gravity Domain. Not only he dodges it well enough against this sort of stress, but he also moves through the Gravity Domain, which lessens his speed at all times.
It's reasonable to assume that Tiberon makes his effort kind of slow and weak for newbies. But still, this sort of attack isn't something dodgeable by anyone below Rank 3. It is here to force newbies to bear their limits and force them to a rough spot that the majority of them have yet to encounter in these Trials. That is what the past first-timers got, and William is having his share right now.
Of course, there are also other factors, such as first-timers' experiences and Skills. William shoots right past those considerations, and that is a matter of fact Tiberon sees with his own eyes.
“Just barely, sir. Yes. My eyes are good, yet how long this will go on?” Willaim replies as he forces himself to stand by the use of his claw. It seems his wobbly legs aren't that useful, so he uses his claw as the main defining act. It works surprisingly well.
“I can see some potential, but for how long will you dodge, is another question. This ain't some exercise training...”
“I bet for enough time,” Willliam says, struggling as he speaks on his behalf. “Few more... minutes. Easy enough. Bargain.”
“Enough? Well, 6th minute goes and your cycles keep going so let's go for what you can do, I guess.” Tiberon says and does something that William never expected. He gets up from his chair and walks closer to him. “In my terms, of course. I will examine your spirit and emblem in my ways. Consider it as my mutiny, and how Academy wants it.”
Then, the Gravity Domain shudders, as if something much more sinister spreads all over the room. It is not necessarily stronger, but it is a feeling William couldn't ignore.
It appears as if a predator takes notice of easy prey, and William is a tiny little vermin that is unable to save itself.
Tiberon walks forth, and step by step, each hit to the floor shudders William's core. Something also washes over his mind, giving Tiberon the appearance of a dozens-of-meter tall giant, while lowering William's eyesight. He crouches by this point, so that is why.
Tiberon's eyes glow in whiteness and dissecting Vectors of his Gravity Domains expands dozens of times in power and density.
Everything is much more vivid, and William doesn't know why.
This is a [Intimidation] Skill, which isn't something William knows much about. It is a much stronger mental type of Skill, and something that can shudder instincts, and shake the soul itself.
A test of the heart is due, and it works, shaking William in places he fears and hopes to forget. This isn't some specific feeling of dread, but something he felt dozens of times before. However, this one is denser as if collected over the years for the sake of unleashing it in a single moment.
This sort of sensation has some strange clarity and richness to it. He felt it many times in his life, so he notices how this isn't as ferocious and wild. In fact, it's mild in its craziness and threat compared to the rare sights of strange Dark beings he saw at some points.
It isn't that primal, is how William would describe it.
Gritting his teeth, he jolts his mind, overbearing his Claw to clutch the ground and smack it twice to get up. He succeeds after the third, and throughout this time, he feels pain deep in his Emblem. Something jolts his mind too, noting him of some dangers or whatnot. It must be System, or Mindless Eyes are giving him some sort of idea about something, but William couldn't care about it right now.
His claw helps him with getting to a crouched position and then to a standing one. No amount of his physical discomfort ceases his hope away, as he sees worse things in his eyes. It is stubborn. His Emblem and hopes alike. At least something is, which is good.
William wishes for something better, however, and Tiberon's closing face gives him an idea, even though he feels like running away.
Focusing his energy and care on his body, he gestures with his claw to pounce forth. He wishes to quench this pressure and feelings away, yet it is indescribable and formless when he slaps with his claw before him. Only by stopping the origin, it can go away, so he steps in without the support of his Claw. He is standing up for real, legs wobbly, neck stressed, and body full of sweat.
His upper body is visible throughout this ordeal, while some dust and debris remain on some parts. Mainly on his back, but most is gone in a moment, through the minor and intangible effects of his Emblem.
Muscles scream at him, heart pounds like never, yet his breathing is fine as ever. That is peculiar, yet William doesn't question it. His mind is too preoccupied with what he endures at the moment and wants to do.
He pushes his body forward again, watching Tiberon's hegemonic aura as if a mountain passes beyond his head. It is strange... He stands, yet he remains large and pressuring like a real mountain on his shoulders.
It is hard, but he stomps the ground and swings his Claw up, pointing with his claw forward. It almost feels dreamy, as if he isn't the one doing it. He slashes through Tiberon, who disappears into tiny little particles, revealing another one, still sitting on the chair.
“That's the fastest so far. Took you... 14 seconds? Have you ever endured the gaze of Rank 6 beings? I wonder if that's the case, or is it 7th even? 8th? I would be surprised, but not shocked.” Tiberon says, pointing with his finger at him and smiling.
“Uh..?” Confusion litters William's foggy mind. Watching a sudden change in the situation ends up causing him to stumble to the ground. The pressure still lingers around as if what happened was a foggy dream, but also a mix of reality. His Claw is before him, firm and steady like his other Skills, while Tiberon acts in the obvious notion he did something.
A real or unreal version of Tiberon gets up from the chair once more. He motions the same oppressive gaze of power against William, who is quite frightened and afraid. He doesn't know if he should trust his eyes or mind.
Yet, he grits his teeth, placing his hand forward, and forcing his own Emblem against this weird sort of power. He is yet to lose everything, so he uses everything.
The power of Annihilation spreads open, growing his Claw into a wide and more crimson-looking Vectors. It also makes his whole aura somewhat stronger, which deflects some Gravity Domain away. It makes the pressure at least 20% lesser, which isn't bad, or excellent.
William's mind ends up flaring in stress, but some clarity is there after 10 days of the Awakening. He knows his limits, and he knows how they feel when approaching him close.
With Annihilation Claw, Inner Enchantment, and Velvet Eyes, he is in his best condition, but for how long?
“Finally going with the Annihilation? Great. I wonder how many minutes you can go in this state, considering your already unsteady cycles, hm?” Tiberon tells, his voice traveling throughout the room as if William stands in an echo chamber.
With the Gear 2, which is sizable as his body, it makes good defense and offense, yet what else William should do? It's the most versatile, while the smallest is similar to that but fiercer, faster, and quite deadlier in more situations because of its size.
Gear 2 is something he is comfortable with, but it is bulkier and heavier than the Vector Claw. Still, he feels a surge of power washes over his insides. It is what Annihilation does, yet the Mindless Eyes don't stop bothering him.
William sees and feels the tension in his Emblem and his right hand is like a scorching hot iron. He moves it fine as he could, while a moment ago, he felt muffed and weaker.
“That.... was a ghost image? Afterimage? Clone?” William thinks about what went on before this, thinking that Tiberon must've used some sort of weird Skill.
Tiberon is not far away from him, standing and looking at this boy, who seems reluctant or fearful of a proper start. Yet, before he wants to speak up, or force William to go, the Annihilation winces forth. William chooses to attack regardless of any of his guesses.
Tiberon changes into a form of a warrior, molding a spear out of his Vectors in a heartbeat. It is right in his palm. He wants to seek this silvery white spear to go against William's Annihilation.
Because of the stance and length of the room, William is quite close to Tiberon, so he steps 5 times before his Annhililation Claw arrives at him. Making a motion with his clawed fingers, William form a 1-point attack that he could do in all forms. He calls it a Pincher since he pinches his fingers with its pointy ends to form a point.
Lowering his posture, he sways his left hand around, while the right one is facing forward. Griding the concrete away in his mass of Annihilation Vectors, he pushes forwards with his whole leg power, which is surprisingly powerful at the moment. His whole mind focuses forwards while opposite to him is something calm like a serene moon.
A singular motion, or a line, swipes forth from Tiberon's spear swipe.
Two forces meet, and William blinks in light and clash of explosive Gravity Domain.
Next, William appears about 2 feet behind him, while Tiberon shudders in his vision, before ceasing into tiny particles once again.
He is once more, yet another projection.
Unblinking, William wonders what just happened. He hit him, or was he hit? Both? He couldn't tell it, so he waits to see Tiberon around him, while his mind is tense, his body is ready and Claw wants to force itself into something. It is his Emblem's desire. It speaks to no one, yet William feels as if his emotions are getting onto something.
Warmth long spreads in his mind and core, while cycles begin to increase in pace. Who knows if the limits have been broken at this moment or not, albeit he doesn't seem to care about it.
He wants to seek Tiberon and what he will do next.
Tiberon soon appears right before him, reachable and close as if a veil of invisible cloth washes over his persona. He sits on his chair, and once again, William isn't sure if he is real or not. There is one way to find that out. He forces his Claw, making a forward-facing slap with his palm, making 5 kinds of attacking points out of his fingers.
It's quite a wide slap, and it's difficult to dodge it.
That is what Roman considers an advantage in Gear 2, while Gear 3 is more or less the same, while Gear 1 is the largest, thus slowest but widest. It may be clumsy, so being average in terms of size isn't that bad. Each Gear has something to offer, and William is yet to recognize it all since Roman gave him quite a quick course onto them in their spars. It still went as expected, but still...
“Attacking right away without waiting? I guess you are the same as others. Youthful and hopeful. Good. It's not within the rules after all, which doesn't even exist.” Chuckling, Tiberon still sits, as he pushes his finger up, catching the whole tidal force of a claw with the tip of his finger.
His reach is far, yet something else is forcing William's attack to become obsolete. That is the Gravity Domain's key Skill -- [Encompass]
It points forth the Gravity Domain into a stronger vision. Almost like Vectors do in normal Molds, yet Tiberon does it with the whole room and all of his Gravity Vectors.
Still, the pressure that William put forth with his Annihilation has many points of interest and few push forth regardless of Encompass or not. One is its pushing force, which ends up destroying the legs of Tibron's chair, causing him to fall to his ass.
“Oh?” William finds this rather unexpected and watches him on the ground, while quite a large amount of pressure disappears into thin air.
“What are you looking at?” Tiberon says calmly. “There is something wrong with my weight, I bet. Or this chair was broken before I got it? Damned apocalypse! Those carpenters must've gotten lazy, I swear.”
Hearing his words that are most likely an excuse, Willaim is momentarily stunned. Still watching him on the ground, Tiberon does the same as if this is normal.
William stands before him, wondering what he should do next. His Annihilation Claw is like a crazy and unleashed dog, wanting to go wild. Yet he manages its restraints, while TIberon looks at him from his crouched position.
A couple of seconds go by until Tiberon laughs out loud. “Fine. Fine. You will take this beating in a heartbeat then. Prepare to seek your limits, boy.” he says, changing his Domain once more.
William doesn't see what even happens next. Clusters and many waves shudder, turning to a vicious [Gravity Explosion], that pushes William across the whole room. His screams follow his travel, leaving Tiberon satisfied in hearing his pained wails.
In a truly random fashion, his landing position is the small and not-so-wide door. The source of this power is too strong, causing him to crack the door's sides, and let it out of the hinges. All of this goes outside of the bunker, leaving the door to travel further along with him.
Sliding on his back against the door, he soon ends at the lower end of the sofa, bumping into Stark and Louise, who jolt up, not expecting to see this mess.
Hearing, and watching this commotion, the remaining first-timers look at William, who is more than conscious, but somewhat bloodied. His nose, and mouth bleed, and even his eyes take some hit. It doesn't hurt, however, nor William notices the blood over some bruisers on his body or his face.
“W-William? How in the flying monkeys have you pissed him off?” Louise asks, figuring that this must be the case, otherwise, it wouldn't make sense. This is the Rank 8 Examination. Things go in a predetermined, and causal way to give a proper reading of these newcomers. Walkers are watching. Things shouldn't go wild, lest fewer newcomers come here next time.
Grunting, and spitting some blood, William gets to his feet after having some trouble breathing for the first time. He glances around, noticing Louise and Stark on his right. He doesn't speak, nor he cares about his present appearance. Shirtless, his Gear 2 shows them all quite a sight, along with his muscles, and bruised body which shows youth and hidden powers.
“What the fuck are you staring at?” Stark mumbles, but he isn't sure if William even hears him.
Cracking his neck, and stretching his arms in verticals sways, William's vigor is more or less the same as before. Annihilation Vectors are making the scene quite vivid, and each first time takes note of what they see or feel.
Tiberon hit him well, but his mind is fine, and Vectors seems stabilized. Both of his supporting Skills are still active, while his Gear 2 dances in many lines of waves around his right arm, part of his chest, shoulder, and back. Each of those lines provides some protection, while his left side is more or less, most damaged and bruised.
It is an impressive state of mind and body. It goes much better for the closest one, who is Stark. He looks at him with obvious bewilderment, discovering the obvious hits of many Skills being active at the same time, while his body seems.... terrible as if enduring quite some beating.
.
Though, Stark doesn't voice it at all, since William doesn't pay any attention to anything but the door and butler beside it.
He spends some time noting his condition, ignoring the flickering noise of Mindless Eyes, which probably means changes in the System or whatnot.
Walking past the uncertain butler who doesn't seems to know what to do, he reaches the bunker once more, which is visible to most of the first-timers by now.
Butler looks inside the bunker, expecting Tiberon to tell him something, but instead of that, an aure of quite a monster is flowing from there, causing him to gulp, and stand before the door. It shudders all of the first-timers, jolting their minds and body alike. Those who are past the 2nd Trial take this pressure better, while Sharrie even wakes up, shocked and surprised.
Butler motions both of his arms to form an X symbol, activating a Space Skill, that gives rise to a proper defense skill to let what is in the bunker, away from the outside. It takes the appearance of a glistering wall, that almost resembles some window, but nothing can be seen beyond that. Even Butler disappears beyond this wall, making the whole section of the door completely shut. It is a cocoon, not the wall, but that is secondary. He seals the bunker, which is important.
Inside the bunker, William stops a couple of steps from the door. Looking at the fury that Tiberon manifests, he is unsure if this man is even kidding about the Trial.
He has no idea what he is supposed to do agast this Rank 8 man who seems... overly zealous and seriously pushing him like a toy. It reminds him of Roman for sure but in a different kind of thing.
This isn't some joke. His body hurts, and the only reason he is able to stand in this kind of pressuring power is his stubborn will, coupled with Skill that acts in surprising effects that he is yet to know.
Though, Tiberon knows everything that is going on, and he isn't upset or angry. In fact, he smiles, standing with both of his arms facing forward. He gestures with his left fingers in the air, probably acting within his System, or so William guesses under his Velvet Eyes. He doesn't see the System, or anything wrong or strange.
Around Tiberon is just a massive tide of many seas, made of white and glistering Vectors. They appear much more menacing and fine, yet one could walk through them unless he says otherwise.
After all, Tiberon is going a couple of steps above any normal norm that a Rank 1 can manage, and right now, he is getting the hang of the situation. His Gravity is not fine to go against William's Annihilation. Quite a large portion of his Domain is sliding off of his Annihilation Element. That is why William seems stronger, and quicker on his feet, because he feels this way, and he is also stronger because of Annihilation activation.
It is quite a drastic and vivid change. Vectors Claw is like a mild surge of power, while Annihilation Claw is an utter monster. That is what a proper Emblem should look like. A more rough, that is, but that is secondary.
Getting something in his mind up to the task, Tiberon doesn't care about Trial any longer. Putting his right hand above his head, he leaves 2 fingers straight.
“Wistand the upcoming turmoil for 2 minutes and I will give you 2 wishes in the Academy along with your success. What do you say to that?” he offers, smiling like a devil.
William gulps down whatever is even in his throat. Be it some saliva or blood. He doesn't care, nor needs his... whatever he offers.
“You hesitate? Are you dumb? This is quite a good offer, and you are a fine specimen... I mean Walker! Your Annihilation is excellent! Right and splendid in stamina, regeneration, and inner cycling. This needs proper care! Scientifical, and Walker's too. Vials will do it some justice. No. That is too early! You are 10 bloody days old.” Tiberon speaks like a crazed lunatic, waving his hands around and uncaring about what William thinks.
“What the hell are you talking about?” William says, standing fine in the midst of the crumbling floor that Tiberon squishes under his Gravity Domain. “Do you think your massive pressure is fine? I think if I wouldn't put the defenses with my 2 support skills, I would lose my head a long time ago. Are you even aware then I am Rank 1 for around 10 days and you are Rank 8 for how many days?” William asks after having enough of Tiberon's bad ideas.
It's stupid to think of this as a fight and he doesn't have a problem with saying the truth. It is his truth, while he couldn't recognize what is right or not at the present. His mind and body are in shambles of adrenaline and feelings. It is no wonder. He hasn't got this rush of vectors in his lifetime.
“Fine,” Tiberon says, sighting in return. “You are right. I am being forceful when I shouldn't be. If that's the case, I will force you to keep this in mind and realize yourself. We are Walkers, after all, so this just makes sense, Heheheh.” In his last words, he changes his Domain once more with a flick of his fingers.
William sees a singular fist of those wavy matter, that is barely discerning to his Velvet Eyes, appear before Tiberon. It flies right to his chest in an instant, and he is half a second late with his claw to defend against it.
Beng!
William staggers backways, finding his chest out of breath, but his Claw is partially before him. “What was that? I was barely able to see that.” He mutters in pain, yet he still stands as he is trying to clear his breathing.
“Only half a second late? Do your eyes have a combat enchantment too? What sort of skill is that for fucks sake? Are you sure it's Rank 0 or 1 Skill?” Tiber asks, unhappily frowning from his guesses.
He is right in his questionable guesses, but William has his own troubles. He moves his Gear 2, feeling as if overrun by a truck, yet the right side of his body is fine, and his left leg and arm are trembling a little. Before he even saw that attack, his eyes saw it, but his body didn't. Yet something did. His Annihilation Claw did.
Calling it an instinct or the claw moved on its own are potential guesses. However, neither of that is something that he knows, since the moment he saw that attack, it was already surging in his body, and pain spread in his mind.
So, without a chance to talk more, Tiberon flicks his finger again, pushing another attack to William, who instead of waiting further, dodges before even seeing a thing. This is a good strategy, which Tiberon praises with a smirk.
“Boy is clever too... Good,” he says. “I am enjoying myself more and more, which is... bad. Terrible and worst. Agatha will be upset.”
Defending, or dodging with quick sidesteps are the best forms of defense against his Gravity Domain attacks. By itself, the Domain does the pressure alone. If someone can stand there uninterpreted, it is a fine time to counterattack, but Tiberon can attack too.
That is what is happening, and before William knows right from left, he is too late in his dodge. The attack scrapes off of his shoulder, causing him to heavily push to the ground where he growls in pain, while his Emblem winces around him like an injured animal. Part of it is him, the other his Emblem.
