We hit a bump as Dave shouts, "Why Woodbranch?!" I grab my chest, hoping that energy would just come back. Norbert cocks the gun, "No one's out here." Jack looks down the sights of his gun. "Jack?" He looks to me, "Yeah?" "Don't wave that gun around." He jumps as something slams against the car. Norbert checks, tears himself away as flames come through the armor. "Demons!" We skid, Dave tries to swerve back to normal, but we topple over.
I fall out my seat and gasp for air, Jack runs out with his gun. They shout, "Jack!" Dave runs straight out the top hatch and gunshots and flames. Norbert follows behind. Jack! I rush out without a gun, knees about bust out of place as a man fires a flame straight at Jack. I lift my arm as I fall to my knees, a sheet of the street rises in front of us. I roar and grab at my heart, flames smash against it as a hail of gunshots come from behind. Norbert rests his rifle on my hunched back. The recoil of the gun is nothing compared to the surge of energy. Parts of the street envelop me, slamming against me, but just a little softer than before. I grab Jack's gun and peek over. I shoot at the man, a flame comes from his hands. I duck and grab my heart. Stones rush to cover it. I clench my fists, that rush of power. "Cover me!" I swing myself over the barricade as they shoot and rip a handful of stones stuck to me with a pained roar. The man ducks behind cover, he gets out of cover to shoot, the stones crumble in my hand and fly into the man's face.
The man screams and grabs his eyes. I step back and bullets rip into him. "Diesel!" "You killed my brother!" The crack of whip, a searing pain in my side. I turn to a man with only half a body, the rest is clear as water. He glides fast along the street, the sound of a riptide. The body of water whips at me. I roar as it smashes against me, enough force to feel it under the armor. The man catches bullets with the body of water. I growl, "Y'all picked the wrong one!" Gravel levitates, then smacks to me. I run up and send the gravel flying. He catches it all and the water wraps around my neck. I grab at it, but it just keeps choking- He pulls me towards him and stabs with a knife. I block and shout. He and I Iook down, my arm cracked, but the pain's nothing. He pulls at the blade as I grab his arm, but he just turns it into water, even lets go of my neck to do so. A bullet flies into his neck and he grabs at it. He gurgles with wide eyes, then just pours himself onto the floor, half a body, the rest a puddle.

Dave breathes heavy, "What the hell was that!?" Norbert sighs, "Aim for the human parts, I guess." The rock falls from me and I grab my heart on instinct. No burning? No intense pain? I yank the knife out and toss it, "Is Jack alright!?" Dave lowers his gun, "He got burned a little." Norbert walks up and holds out his hand, "Let's radio in."
I sit as Jean tends to Jack's wounds, in front of our flipped Armored car. Rose runs up to me and Norbert isn't far behind. "Whoa! His arm, Norbert!" I wince, the crack's still there, but at least I'm still blessed. "How you holding up, old man?" I grab my heart, beat's booming like before, it's easier to move. "No clue, Norbert- I think so." The Governor walks up, "Great, you guys just threw away an armored car!" Dave flips him off, "It still works, doesn't it?" The Governor slaps his hand out the way, "It's no good flipped!" I take my hand- Like before, lift the road. I stand up and swipe past the Governor's head. A sheet of the road rises, pushing the car upright. The Governor jumps as I roared in his face, to grab at my arm. The crack got bigger. It starts bleeding and Jean quickly rushes to me, "Did you do that?!" I grunt as she tries shoving gauze in the wound. "Yep." "Your skin's too hard!" She looks down in awe, dust travels up my body, into the wound.
"Whatever, just be ready to head out!" Jon shouts, "Don't!" A woman comes screaming past me, towards the Governor. She swings her arms and gusts of wind rush by. The Governor points and the soldiers unload their guns into her. The woman falls, Jon tries to get to her, but Dave holds him back, "No!" The Governor huffs as blood trickles down his sleeves, his face. He runs up and kicks her. "Dirty monster!" He doesn't stop, the Humble guys shake their heads with smiles as some soldiers laugh. The rest, we watch in horror. Jon breaks free and scoops her up as the Governor walks away. Jean looks over with Jack struggling to break free from her. For once, she doesn't have a smile. Tears. I clench my fists and my heart pounds as the soldiers and Humble-men lock eyes with me.
