I smile on the floor with a full belly. I stretch- They're just staring at me. Sunny watched. They all did. Nell quivers and Sunny cries. Jimmy clenches his wrist to stop the bleeding.

Tears roll down as Jimmy stands, "You still you?" I look at my hands and sob. I'm a monster. Sunny walks over and falls to her knees to hug me. "Get away from me." "I still love you. Nothing's gonna change that." It feels good to hear. I hug back, "I love you too."

Nell helps Jimmy with the bleeding, "We gotta clean you up, man." Jimmy laughs, "I'm fine." He winces, "Damn!" Nell looks over, "Sunny, could you look for antiseptic, alcohol?" She walks off and I yell, "Scream if there's trouble!" She gives me a thumbs up and Nell stares, "You alright man?"

I clench my fists, "I'm a cannibal." Jimmy points, "At least your strength's back?" I look at my hand and gasp. I shake it normal again. "What's strength if you can't control it?" Jimmy giggles, "I know that more than you." He winces and yellow discharge comes from his arms. "Nell?!" He turns around and runs to him. "The side effects were supposed to take a while. How?" Sunny screams.

I charge towards her and she laughs. I turn a corner and she's twirling her finger. Leaves circle her, one lands in her hair. She turns around and the leaves fly towards me. "This is crazy!" She twirls some around me, "Find anything?" "Nope. They took everything." "Who?"

"Commander!" I sigh, "It's all hands on deck, what you want?" He bites his nails, "Martus is worse than we thought, sir." "How bad?" The man shivers, "250 million live here sir and at least half of them are monsters." I stand, "That many?" "Are we still on for airstrikes, sir?" "Burn Enola, now." "And after that?" I fold my hands, "A week of bombing, then we leave. Not much grows on Martus, so they'll simply die out." I'm sorry Martus, I can't let these monsters spread. "Sir, about Lady Liberty-" "What happened with the reactor's team?" The soldier shakes his head, "Radio Silence, they're gone. We are locking down Liberty more and more." "Damn." What can we do?
