Day 4,651
It is a strange feeling to breed monsters—creatures we used to hunt before.
After receiving our business permit, we gathered our money and bought two Aloraks. We decided to start on the least dangerous kind, though not too docile to be boring pets. Ranaul wanted something we can train for our protection, and the half-bird half-snake creatures were the best options.
Aloraks are gentle monsters during infancy, so we would have problems for the next two months. They also mature quite fast, and by the time they reach the third month, they will be ready to mate. This is the reason why we have agreed on this particular monster; they breed easily but cost a good sum of money, which will give us quite a fortune.

We gave them names: Lorhan and Irel. A joke referencing the two people that caused this whole mess. I do not know who came up with the idea, but no one seemed to mind. If anything, they are quite fond of the decision.
We agreed to assign a small team to take care of the hatchlings, and Eina agreed to lead it. She seems to have taken a liking to Lorhan and Irel, and I did not bother stopping her. It will surely help her mind be at ease.
