Day 4,603
Our training began today in earnest, and though it was hard, we somehow enjoyed it.
While some of us scoured the airship dockyards, the others headed for a wide clearing where we tested the weapons we had gathered from Caltina's armory. It seemed that shooters tapped on the users innate magical energy, so even those who are not mages can use them. And what weapons they are! One shot can shatter a boulder in a single blow. We've never seen this kind of destructive power outside of magical spells.
When the mages use them, the power increased by threefold. It was an awesome sight seeing them blow a crater on the ground ten feet wide and three feet deep. It was no wonder that Thuron had a hard time defeating Urnos; without the aid of magic, Thuron would have been defeated easily.

The first day of training was quiet, but Adren did not want us to let our guard down. Sentries patrolled the perimeter endlessly, and scouts leave and return every four hours to report any odd sightings in a twenty mile radius.
There are no monsters in sight, but that feeling of being watched has returned, greater than ever before. I don't know where it is coming from, but I can feel its presence.
I fear we may encounter an attack soon.
