Day 4,587
The city’s name was Arziron, one of Urnos’ chief cities. It formerly played a central role in its military, housing over thirty thousand troops at any given time and being used as a staging area. We still didn’t know what had happened to leave the city in such a decrepit state, but we all agreed it was due to war.
Urnos’ territory was vast, and in fact dwarfed the Empire at some point. To our shock, Arlonia was part of the kingdom as a fortress-city. Urnos’ borders stopped at this point just like how present-day Arlonia protected us from the Untamed Lands.

What this meant, we don’t know. It may be that the Urnosians migrated south and founded what is now known as the Galmarin Empire. But why didn’t the history books mention any of this? Something strange is at work here. A secret that was never revealed.
Our exploration today bore no new information, and we returned to camp empty handed. With our mission in this city finished, Adren made the order to depart tomorrow.
