Day 4,574
It has been a relatively peaceful day.
We journeyed for some dozen miles, past through a small woodland and into a vast prairie with a lake. We encountered no danger as we forged ahead, and the expedition force’s mood was higher than the previous day.
Eina was annoying today, but I soon learned to tolerate her irritating behavior. She pestered me about my life, and even had gone as far as to ask whether I have already slept with a woman, much to my other companions’ amusement and my chagrin. Her curiosity would someday kill her.

In any case, I answered her that yes, I already have. And for some reason I never knew, I asked her if she wants a demonstration. After living for over thirty years, I found out that teasing back someone is the best way to repel them.
It worked. Her face was as red as a tomato, and I laughed as she retreated back toward the rear of the vanguard. She didn’t bother me for the rest of this afternoon.
It is evening now, and the camp is quiet. We decided to rest beside the lake, a beautiful scenery of clear waters with the full moon reflecting on its surface like a mirror. It is still quite early, so maybe I’ll go and take a brief walk to see it.
