Day 4,585
We found a city.
Well, what's left of it at least. The walls have long been torn down, by war or natural causes we don't know. Nature has reclaimed the area with a forest growing inside. The guard house at the eastern gates was still serviceable, so we set up camp around it and the surrounding buildings.
We sent out scouts to explore, and by the time they returned before sundown, they brought some great news. Though the city had to be as big as Arlonia, it looked to be abandoned, and there is no danger from mobsters.
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
We breathed a sigh of relief at that. Nevertheless, we fortified our position. It seems Adren wants to remain here for several days, hoping to find more clues about our enemy in this city. There was a crumbling fortress not far away, and he thinks it contains more records. And possibly, an intact map.
I volunteered to join the search party tomorrow. I, too, wanted to know more about Urnos. I'm quite curious how such an advanced kingdom could just vanish in the annals of history. It didn't seem like it would let itself be forgotten. Something happened, and it's connected to our current plight.
