Day 4,634
It never occured to me how different the nation of Thuron was until three days has passed since we had crossed over to its borders.
Whereas Urnos is mostly plains and highlands, Thuron’s landscape is dominated by large swathes of forests and long mountain ranges. We often had to rely on old maps, which were not that reliable considering their age. Paths that had been marked on the paper were now river, and game trails were now overrun by dense foliages.

More than that, the animals and monsters are far numerous, though most are harmless enough. We even hunted some of them, and their meat tasted fine. Still, we never let our guard down.
Based on the maps we have, the nearest city is some miles ahead. We don’t really know if the kingdom still exists, but the chances are high. Someone is leading the attacks, hellbent on destroying the descendants of Urnos.
