Serendipity (noun): a string of chance events that lead to a happy outcome
As soon as her foot crossed the powder-pink gate, she was sprinting with the sole purpose of causing cataclysmic chaos.
She spotted a little kid drinking a smoothie.
Whap!
The pink drink exploded all over the ground.
To her left, a lovely couple on a peaceful afternoon date.
She didn’t hesitate and kicked their table down, chocolate cakes and coffee cups splattering to the ground.
Crash!
Murmurs of disbelief grew into a panicked crescendo as people scrambled away from her, desperate to avoid the destruction. She could hear the plates being knocked to the ground as they tried to flee.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a server carrying a tray, far too big for his arms. The poor guy was already teetering on the edge of falling.
Her legs bent. Her lungs breathed in.
Whoosh!
Dashing forward like an infuriated bull, she slammed into him at full force.
“Oh! Thank you!”
The psychotic smile froze on her face. She lifted her head to see the server beaming at her, the tray somehow fully stabilized by her attack.
“Wait…”
“Ah, you’re a hero!” A woman’s voice was telling her. “That smoothie was actually expired… we just arrived here to throw it out and buy my baby a new one.”
Her face turned a spectacular shade of red. “That’s… That’s not what I meant…”
Suddenly, an elbow jabbed into her stomach. “Hey! I owe you one.”
The voice belonged to the man in the tuxedo, who winked and smiled. “That date was going horribly wrong… you saved me back there.”
Completely bewildered, she could only cower in the gratitude.
