The audiobook droned on, the soft and even voice of the woman creating vivid images in his mind. He imagined large, multi-colored leaves of cabbages wrapping like a gift around its core, waiting to be cooked into delicious dishes.

If he could read better, he would learn so much more about cabbages.

Closing his eyes and setting his forehead onto the table, the dyslexic man did his best to remember the pictures of the colorful cabbages. Recalling words troubled him, so he’d begun using visualizations instead.
