Old Aeterna Dock, Aeterna City, 30 March 2141/ 30 Martius 1841, 01:00 pm
Maximus and his elite legionnaires finally arrived at Old Aeterna City dock. He and his legionnaires, alongside modern weapons, equipment, vehicles, and aircraft, were transported by UTS Geneva, the biggest auxiliary vessel of United Terran, escorted by UTS Enterprise Carrier Strike Group (CSG). They were late on the schedule because they needed to inspect the weapons, equipment, and vehicles, especially the outdated weapons and vehicles such as Gepard, M777 Howitzer, 40 mm Bofors, PzH 2000, Willy jeep, MQ 9 Reaper, and MQ-1C Gray Eagle to ready to battle against the slavery faction army. They were scheduled to arrive on 28 March 2141/28 Martius 1841, but they arrived on 30 March 2141/30 Martius 1841.
During the voyage back to Aeterna City, several events happen because of the performance of native agents of UT ISIA, such as successfully pushing back the slavery faction's first army to Colobria City through attrition warfare, strategic victory to destroying enemy aircraft and runway in Pampoi Region, tactical victory to hold the advanced of the slavery faction second army to let the people of Noplos City to strategic retreat to Aeterna City without suffering casualties.
Lucien and Princess Julia welcome Maximus and his elite legionnaires at the dock. They become the representative of United Terran and Fortisregnum Empire leaders to welcome the hero who will fight against tyranny and injustice army of the slavery faction.
"Welcome to your homeland, oh Hero of the Fortisregnum Empire." Princess Julia opened the speech to welcome Maximus and his elite legionnaires.
"Your Highness, we are already home. We are ready to teach Senator Brutus and his slavery faction army a hard lesson about the coup against Your Majesty Emperor Aurelius," Maximus responds.
"Welcome, Maximus. I hope your training with our UT ISF is enough to upgrade you and your legionnaires about modern warfare. Show your training and let them fear of your wrath on the battlefield." Lucien hopes that Maximus and his legionnaires can show their training results on the battlefield.
"Thank you, Sir Lucien. On behalf of the Elite Legionnaires Corps of Fortisregnum Empire, I, Maximus Augustus, express my gratitude to the United Terran International Special Force for training us with modern weapons and equipment. We will show our results and punish Senator Brutus with the power of United Terran's modern weapons and equipment," Maximus responds.
"I am counting on you, my proud cousin. Show and teach them the hard and harsh lesson." Princess Julia said.
"Heh, of course, you could rely on your proud cousin, Your Highness. Haha." Maximus responds.
Maximus's mother is the half-younger sister of Emperor Aurelius. Because Maximus' grandmother is non-noble, her second descendants cannot inherit the royal title of prince and princess, so Maximus cannot inherit the prince title. However, Maximus's father was the previous marshal of the army before General Scipio. Maximus's father died during the last war between the Fortisregnum Empire and the Novacara Empire and became the Fortisregnum Empire's hero. His mother also died several years after the war because of depression and sickness. Her last will to his brother, Emperor Aurelius, is to care for Maximus. Emperor Aurelius orders General Scipio to train Maximus so he can learn about the contribution and achievement of his father to the Fortisregnum Empire.
Even though he did not inherit the royal title, Maximus did not care because Emperor Aurelius still treated him as a precious nephew and the sole son of his beloved younger sister. With skills, intelligence, and powerful backing, Maximus became the elite legionnaire's corps commander. After the United Terran government suggest to train the Fortisregnum Empire with modern weapons and equipment as the ally and defense treaty, Emperor Aurelius ordered Maximus and his elite one hundred people to undergo training in United Terran and become the first native people of Luminarum who stepped on United Terran territory.
To show the power of modern weapons, Lucien asks Emperor Aurelius to authorize Maximus and his elite legionnaires to march from the old Aeterna dock to the royal city hall. After getting permission from Emperor Aurelius, Maximus and his elite legionnaires were ready to march to the royal city hall with their new modern weapons, vehicles, artillery, and aircraft. Thanks to the successful construction of modern concrete roads in Aeterna City, the Aeterna City public roads could withstand modern weapons and vehicles such as Panther II, PzH 2000, Gepard, IVACO trucks carry M777 Howitzer and 40 mm Bofors, and IFV Puma. Before the march parade, Emperor Aurelius released an imperial decree that all people in Aeterna City and around the Aeterna region should hold this march. Duke Antonius and his people, who had already survived retreat to the Aeterna City thanks to United Terran support, held high hopes that Maximus and his elite legionnaires would retake Noplos City and Colobria City from the slavery faction army.
Royal City Hall, Aeterna City, 30 March 2141/ 30 Martius 1841, 03:00 pm
The people of Aeterna City welcome Maximus and his elite legionnaires, who march through the public road. In the second wave of the parade, the ground trembles under the weight of a formidable procession of modern military vehicles, showcasing the technological might of elite legionnaires armed forces supported by the United Terran. Maximus leads this mechanized spectacle, commanding the parade atop a Panther II tank. This updated version of the historical armored vehicle is a marvel of engineering. It is equipped with advanced targeting systems, reactive armor plating, and a more powerful engine, making it a tribute to its predecessors and a beacon of modern warfare capabilities. A 130 mm smoothbore cannon capable of annihilating all of the Slavery faction army armored unit. Nanocomposite and reactive armor plating could withstand all enemy attacks, even from anti-tank guns. Panther II will become the spearhead against enemy forces to defeat the slavery faction army in Noplos City, Colobria City, and Pampoi City.
Maximus stands confidently, commanding attention as the Panther II rolls forward with deliberate power. His presence not only asserts his leadership but also embodies the pride and strength of his legion. Following him are several more Panther II tanks, each operated by expert crews maintaining tight formations, their barrels swiveling in disciplined synchrony as they pass the assembled crowd.
Accompanying the Panther IIs are the Puma armored fighting vehicles. Agile and fast, these vehicles are designed for reconnaissance and combat support, equipped with advanced communications equipment and a modular weapon system including autocannons and anti-tank guided missiles. Their sleek design and rapid maneuverability contrast with the heavier main battle tanks, providing a dynamic display of the varied capabilities of the armed forces. A 30 mm autocannon capable of supporting Infantry in the frontline and advanced ATGM capable of destroying enemy armored units. Like Panther II Main Battle Tank, IFV Puma was reinforced with nanocomposite armor and advanced reactive armor platting. Alongside Panther II, Puma will give support in the frontline against enemy troops.
The parade also features the Flakpanzer Gepard, an anti-aircraft vehicle significantly upgraded from its historical counterparts. With its twin 35 mm autocannon system now enhanced by advanced radar and digital tracking systems, the Flakpanzer Gepard is a crucial component of Elite legionnaires. It supports Aeterna City's air defense strategy. As they roll through the streets, the cannons pivot smoothly, simulating engagement with aerial threats and demonstrating their rapid response capabilities. Improved nanocomposite and reactive armor platting increase the defense power of enemy aerial and ground threats. Advanced anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM) were installed to defend against enemy heavy armored units.
Finally, the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers make a thunderous appearance. These artillery units are a testament to the City's ability to deliver devastating firepower because of their known long-range and high rate of fire. The PzH 2000 has been upgraded with automated loading systems and improved ballistic computer calculation, allowing for quicker and more accurate targeting. The sight of these formidable artillery pieces, capable of striking distant targets with precision, underscores the military's strategic depth and power projection.
As these modern colossi of war pass by the viewing stands, they elicit awe and applause from the spectators, a mix of civilians and military personnel alike. This parade's combination of historical reverence and advanced technology celebrates the military's past and present and signals a robust, forward-thinking defense posture for Aeterna City.

As the parade progresses, the third wave rolls in, focusing on the versatility and utility of the legion's ground forces, further demonstrating the partnership with United Terran by providing advanced logistical and combat support vehicles. This segment begins with the Willy Jeeps, a nod to traditional military design but upgraded with modern technology. These jeeps are lighter and faster than their historical counterparts, equipped with GPS navigation systems, night vision capabilities, and communications equipment optimized for reconnaissance missions. They zip along the parade route, agile and alert, symbolizing the quick-strike capabilities of Maximus' elite forces. Their role is crucial, as they are tasked with scouting enemy positions, gathering intelligence, and ensuring the safety of the leading forces by providing early warnings of potential threats.
Following the nimble jeeps, a convoy of IVECO military trucks makes a robust impression. These trucks are the backbone of logistical operations, designed to be rugged and durable, capable of transporting troops, equipment, and heavy weaponry across various terrains. These trucks demonstrate their heavy-lifting capabilities for the parade by towing the formidable M777 howitzers and the 40 mm Bofors cannons, showcasing their integral role in supporting frontline combat operations.
The M777 howitzers, attached to the IVECO trucks, are a highlight of the military showcase. These lightweight, towed artillery pieces are known for their long-range capabilities and are pivotal in providing fire support for Maximus and his legionnaires. They are particularly effective against the slavery faction, offering precision bombardment that can change the course of battle from distances well beyond the reach of conventional arms. The howitzers have been adapted to feature digital fire-control systems, allowing them to deliver accurate and effective firepower with minimal setup time.
Alongside the howitzers, the 40 mm Bofors cannons are also towed into view. These anti-aircraft weapons are critical for defending Aeterna City and its forces from aerial threats. The Bofors cannons have been modernized to include automated targeting and firing systems, enhancing their rate of fire and accuracy against fast-moving targets in the sky. Their presence in the parade serves as a stark reminder of the City's readiness to defend against any airborne assault, supporting Maximus and his legionnaires' operations with a protective umbrella of flak.
Including these tactical vehicles and artillery in the parade not only displays the impressive military might of elite legionnaires but also highlights the strategic support provided by United Terran in bolstering the legion's capabilities. This third wave of the parade underscores the depth of the Fortisregnum Empire's new military assets, from fast-moving reconnaissance vehicles to powerful, long-range artillery, all integrated into a formidable and modern fighting force.
As the grand finale of the parade, the skies above Aeterna City roar to life with the breathtaking display of modern aerial might. Five advanced Me 262MV (Me 262M capable of VTOL operation) jet fighters, multirole combat aircraft, capture the attention of all as they take off with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities from the UTS Geneva, a cutting-edge auxiliary vessel of United Terran. The crowd watches in awe as these jets ascend effortlessly, symbolizing a new era in aerial warfare for the Fortisregnum Empire.
Heraclius, Maximus's trusted right-hand man, vice commander of legionnaires, and skilled pilot, controls one of the Me 262MVs. His expertise is evident as he maneuvers the jet with precision and agility. His pilot comrade, flying in tight formation beside him, also controls the jet. Together, they execute a series of complex aerial maneuvers that demonstrate not only their prowess but also the advanced capabilities of their machines.
These jets are the modernized versions of the historical Me 262, featuring enhanced avionics, stealth technology, and reinforced airframes capable of carrying various weapons, including missiles and precision-guided bombs. Reinforce to carry up to eight MBDA Meteor air-to-air missiles (AAM), Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG air-to-surface missiles (ASM), GBU-53/B StormBreaker guided bombs, and a 27 mm BK-27 revolver cannon, Me 262M is a formidable opponent for the slavery faction army aerial power. Nanocomposite material was used for the Me 262M body to give a stealth system and hindrance detection on enemy radar. Me 262M can fight against hyperpower and superpower nation aerial power.

The thunderous sound of their engines fills the City, a potent symbol of power and protection. As they fly over the gathered crowds, the jets perform synchronized rolls and sharp turns, showcasing their rapid response and combat readiness capabilities. The display is a testament to the pilots' skills. It demonstrates the jet's role in air-to-air and air-to-ground combat scenarios, highlighting its versatility as a cornerstone of the new empire's defense strategy.
The Me 262Ms are set to replace the older Wyverns, signaling a significant upgrade in the Fortisregnum Empire's aerial forces. This transition to the Me 262M jet fighters is part of a broader modernization effort, ensuring that the empire remains at the forefront of military technology supported by United Terran as the joint defense and ally treaty. Using these advanced jet fighters in the parade declares the empire's commitment to maintaining and expanding its power, with a strong focus on dominating the skies.
As the jets pass over the City, leaving trails of smoke in the sky, the crowd bursts into applause and cheers, filled with a renewed sense of security and pride in their empire's growing military strength. The last wave of the parade is a vivid reminder of the Fortisregnum Empire's readiness to face any challenge, with an eye firmly set on the future and the continued dominance of its newly bolstered aerial fleet.
The people of Aeterna City and refugees from Noplos City feel awe about their current new and modern weapons, vehicles, and equipment. For high nobles, these modern weapons and equipment become a show of United Terran power, and they think of collaborating with the United Terran government and companies to improve the quality of life and infrastructure in their regions. For Emperor Aurelius and the royal family, these weapons and equipment became a show of the Fortisegnum Empire's new power and cemented their regional power.
Royal Palace, Aeterna City, 30 March 2141/ 30 Martius 1841, 07:00 pm
After the marching parade, Emperor Aurelius invited Maximus, Heraclius, and representatives of each weapon, vehicle, and aircraft coordinator to the royal banquet.
"Welcome, hero of Fortisregnum Empire. I hope all of you can give your best and show the result of your training in United Terran. Shows that slavery faction about the wrath of the power of modern weapons." Emperor Aurelius welcomed Maximus and his legionnaires.
"It is our honor to become the spearhead against the enemy, Your Majesty. We will show the slavery faction army the true power of advanced modern weapons. We will retake Noplos City and Colobria City and conquer Pampoi City. We will also capture Senator Brutus and their supporter, Black Shadow." Maximus responds.
"Good, Maximus. Now, what is your strategy to fight the enemy? We know they were helped by the Black Shadow, Private Military Company (PMC), which utilizes modern weapons from superpower and hyperpower nations." Emperor Aurelius asked Maximus about the plan and strategy against the enemy.
"Rest assured, Your Majesty. The United Terran will give us accurate data about the enemy through their intelligence team. First, we will inspect the weapons, equipment, vehicles, and aircraft for two weeks. During the inspection, we will train another one thousand elite legionnaires from the Aeterna and Noplos Region to use their respective modern infantry weapons. We will push them to use enhanced memory and power magic to fasten their understanding. We will start our attack two weeks from now, Your Majesty." Maximus explains his plan to train the remaining elite legionnaires with modern infantry weapons and equipment.
"I see. Even though you have modern and advanced weapons, your number is smaller than the enemy, and your plan is sound. However, ensure that our elite legionnaires understand modern weapons and equipment. How about your plan for the attack?" Emperor Aurelius asked about the enemy's attack planning.
"Your Majesty, our strategy will revolve around a 'Shock and Awe' doctrine, designed to overwhelm the enemy with rapid, coordinated strikes using our modernized forces. We will send out a modified MQ-1C Gray Eagle drone equipped with a stealth system to recon the enemy's conditions and identify their defenses, especially anti-aircraft capabilities." Maximus tells about the use of Shock and Awe doctrine in this attack
"I see. If this thing you called a drone could be used as a reconnaissance device, we could obtain information about the enemy. So, what happens if they have anti-air cannons?" Emperor Aurelius nodded, his eyes intent on Maximus, and asked what would happen if the enemy had the anti-air defense. After being familiarized with United Terran aircraft, Emperor Aurelius understands its power and resembles the air vehicles of Superpower and hyperpower nations.
"If our reconnaissance drones confirm anti-air cannons, we will deploy our M777 Howitzer and PzH 2000 artillery units to bombard and neutralize these threats from a safe distance. MQ-1C Gray Eagle will give accurate coordinates and the position of enemy vital structures, such as command centers, supply depots, anti-air defense, cannons, and enemy supply lines to our M777 Howitzer and PzH 2000 operators. Thanks to the advanced computer from United Terran, we could calculate the range, angle, wind speed, altitude, and other parameters to hit the enemy accurately. We will also target their anti-aircraft positions first to clear the way for our aerial forces to conduct airstrikes to finish the remaining vital infrastructure in real time." Maximus continued to explain the reconnaissance mission with drones and bombarded them with artillery from a long range.
"I see. With this thing you call drones, we can reconnaissance the enemy information and conditions. After we obtain enemy information, we can bombard them with our new modern artillery to weaken the enemy. Moreover, what happens if they lack anti-air defenses because our long-range artillery destroys them?" Emperor Aurelius inquired about the next attack after bombarding the enemy with artillery.
"Without significant anti-air threats, our Me 262M jets will launch precision airstrikes with Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG air-to-surface missiles (ASM) and GBU-53/B StormBreaker Guided Bombs. These strikes will focus on the remaining and surviving enemy's vital infrastructure, including command centers, supply lines, supply depots, and any remaining air defenses. These guided weapons could precisely target with minimal collateral damage to civilian infrastructures. " Maximus explained the airstrikes from Me 262M to conduct airstrikes to wipe out the remaining enemy vital infrastructures.
"I see. The airstrikes from aircraft will destroy the remaining enemy vital infrastructures. This bombardment and airstrike could kill enemy infantry and destroy their weapons. If so, we could reduce enemy power from the long range. What comes next after the initial bombardment and airstrikes from our aircraft?" Emperor Aurelius leaned back with a thoughtful expression and asked about the next step after bombarding and airstrikes the enemy.
"Once the artillery and airstrikes have softened the enemy's defenses and power, we will launch a ground assault spearheaded by our Panther II main battle tanks and Puma infantry fighting vehicles. These armored units will break through the enemy lines, creating pathways for our Infantry. We will break through enemy formation, shock them with maximum speed and strong firepower from the Panther II and Puma, and encircle and cut them off from the rest of the enemy." Maximus confidently talked about the attack with an armored unit, Panther II and Puma, to break enemy formation and encircle the enemy.
"I see. I hear that superpowers and hyperpowers have armored vehicles capable of withstanding cannons and infantry weapons. Our new armored vehicles, Panther II and Puma, will lead our army to destroy the enemy formation. How will you ensure the safety of our armored forces against potential ambushes and weapons that could destroy our armored vehicles unit?" Emperor Aurelius asked about the safety.
"Our legionnaires, armed with modern infantry weapons, will follow closely behind the Panther II tanks and Puma IFVs, providing cover and dealing with ambushes or anti-tank threats. Our legionnaires will also carry anti-tank guns such as GM6 Lynx and Panzerfaust 3 to destroy enemy armored units. We will also have MQ-9 Reaper drones providing close air support, delivering precise firepower of GBU-54 Laser JDAM and AGM-114 Hellfire Missiles wherever needed to destroy the enemy position." Maximus responded that legionnaires with infantry weapons were used to cover the armored unit from enemy ambush and utilize the MQ-9 Reaper to destroy the enemy position with close air support.
Emperor Aurelius nodded, satisfied with the comprehensive plan, and tried to understand the attack plan. Then, he asked about the potential air threats from the enemy.
" I see. This strategy is sound; we could destroy the enemy with these Reaper drones. Our legionnaires will also cover our armored unit, so they will reduce the risk of being damaged by the enemy. Moreover, what about enemy potential air threats or airstrikes? I hear the slavery faction also utilized aircraft from Black Shadow. I assume Senator Brutus will also send their wyverns to help the aircraft. How to mitigate these air threats?" Emperor Aurelius asked about the potential airstrikes from enemy aircraft and wyverns.
"To counter the enemy air threats, Flakpanzer Gepard vehicles will accompany our ground forces, offering protection against enemy airstrikes. Their advanced radar and rapid-firing cannons will shield our units from aerial threats. Also, we could achieve air superiority and control the sky from the enemy air threats utilizing our MBDA Meteor air-to-air missiles (AAM) and 27 mm revolver cannon from Me 262M to annihilate enemy threat." Maximus assured about the cover from enemy air threats with Flakpanzer Gepard and utilized Me 262M to control the air superiority.
"I see. The United Terran also supports us with their anti-air vehicle to counter enemy air threats. Air superiority: I heard that term while I discussed it at the conference of Luminarum leaders last year when the Premier of the People's Republic of Uroslav (PRU) claimed that they could achieve air superiority if they went to war against the United States of Amarilon (USA) with their new developed "Light Homing Arrow" to shoot down the airpower and aircraft from the USA. However, the president of the USA only laughed and said they could jam or destroy the "Light Homing Arrow" of their stealth aircraft and the "Magic Homing Arrow." Emperor Aurelius explained that he heard of Air Superiority in last year's conference of Luminarum leaders.
"For your information, Your Majesty. Air superiority is a state in military operations where a particular force dominates the air warfare domain, making it nearly impossible for the adversary to conduct aerial operations effectively. This dominance allows a force to conduct ground attacks, reconnaissance, and supply drops without significant interference from enemy aircraft. If you mention 'light homing arrow' or 'magic homing arrow,' I think it refers to missiles that could seek and find the target to destroy it. Fortunately, United Terran supported us with their advanced and modern missiles. MBDA Meteor air-to-air missiles (AAM), Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG air-to-surface missiles (ASM), and AGM-114 Hellfire Missiles are examples of the 'homing arrow' we got from the United Terran. I think our missiles from United Terran are on par with PRU and USA regarding capability, power, range, and accuracy." Maximus explains the meaning of air superiority and gives an example of missiles from the United Terran.
"Oh, my Gods, missiles are the 'homing arrow' similar to superpower and hyperpower nations. So, our weapons are similar to them? I know that United Terran is a hyperpower nation, but if they want to give us these modern weapons as they call 'outdated,' how strong is their real power?" Emperor Aurelius was surprised that the missiles Maximus used to refer to the new modern weapons were similar and on par with PRU's 'light homing arrow' and the USA's' magic homing arrow.'
"I do not know, Your Majesty. However, the United Terran is the most powerful nation in Luminarum. Maybe only the Ancient Devil Empire and Ancient Angel Empire are on par with the United Terran. I heard from my new friend in UT ISF that they have a military space capability, Similar to the Ancient Devil Empire and Ancient Angel Empire, which have a military 'heaven' capability, or in United Terran terms, military space capability." As a military leader, history, and legend enthusiast, Maximus mentions that the United Terran is similar to the Ancient Devil Empire and the Ancient Angel Empire.
"What? Does United Terran have a military heaven capability? They are the most powerful in current Luminarum if they could achieve that. However, are you sure they are on par with Ancient Angel Empire and Ancient Devil Empire?" Emperor Aurelius asked about the possibility of United Terran power on par with the Ancient Angel Empire and Ancient Devil Empire.
After hearing new information about the Ancient Angel Empire and the Ancient Devil Empire, Lucien wonders about these legendary ancient empires.
"May I ask, Your Majesty? What are the Ancient Angel Empire and Ancient Devil Empire? Could you explain about them?" Lucien asked about the Ancient Angel Empire and Ancient Devil Empire.
"Let me explain, Darling. They are the first inhabitants of Luminarum and have become the masters of humans and demihumans. Ancient Angel Empire claimed they were the gods' servants and became the masters of the human race. They possess the light power from the Gods and constantly fight against the Ancient Devil Empire. They teach the human race about magic, technology, and knowledge about civilization. The Ancient Devil Empire is the Great Devil Emperor's servant and becomes the master of demons and the demihuman race. They teach demons and the demihuman race about dark magic to improve their power. One hundred thousand years ago, the Ancient Devil Empire descended to Luminarum and controlled all animals, beasts, and demihumans in Luminarum to become their servant and soldiers. A hundred years later, the Ancient Angel Empire descended to expel and eradicate the Ancient Devil Empire and its minions. With God's permission, the Ancient Angel Empire brings the first couple of humans from heaven to Luminarum for their test as the successor authority of the Gods. The Angels also teach them and their descendants the light magic power to fight against the Ancient Devil Empire. However, during the 'Holy War,' some traitors of human races betrayed the Ancient Angel Empire, and human races joined the dark side of the Ancient Devil Empire to learn the destructive power of dark magic power from the Devils. Their survivor and descendant become the dark magician, dark wizard, and the enemy and traitor of humankind. Ten thousand years ago, the Ancient Devil Emperor's last emperor and the last descendant of the Great Devil Emperor in Luminarum was defeated, and his empire was destroyed. After the destruction of the Ancient Devil Empire and the eradication of devils, Angels from the Ancient Angel Empire return to heaven by their heaven-flying ship. However, before they departed, they gave a sign that the Great Devil Emperor's army would return to Luminarum to avenge his fallen descendant. They also give humankind' Knowledge from Heaven' and their one heaven-flying ship to prepare themselves against the incoming Great Devil Emperor's army from hell. Unfortunately, the heaven-flying ship is lost because humankind's knowledge about divine magic technology is limited. Only 'Knowledge from Heaven' was left in the Holy Empire and Dawlat al-Nur Caliphate." Princess Julia explains the legendary Ancient Angel Empire and Ancient Devil Empire.
Lucien, Ghost, and other United Terran representatives were surprised and trembled about the 'heaven-flying ship.' If heaven is sky or space, then there is a possibility that heaven-flying ships resemble space battleships. If the angel's legend and sign are true, the Great Devil Emperor army returns, and they will undoubtedly come with space battleships to invade Luminarum. This information is the most threatening to the existence of United Terran and Luminarum.
"Thank you, my princess. If this information from the legend is accurate, it will become the most threatening existence to humankind in Luminarum. I will send this important information to the United Terran leaderboard." Lucien then shared this critical information with Hugo and the leaderboard of United Terran.
The information about the incoming Great Devil Emperor army with space battleship and potentially galaxy military capability will shock the entire leaderboard of the United Terran. They will reinforce the research in Area 51 and other secret special facilities to hasten the space technology to prepare the incoming Great Devil Emperor army.
Then, Emperor Aurelius took action to focus again on the incoming war against the slavery faction army. He then asked about the role of new weapons called PzH 2000 or modern artillery.
"Thank you, Princess Julia, for your information about the Ancient Angel Empire and Ancient Devil Empire. Now, we continue discussing the next strategy against the slavery faction army. I heard United Terran send modern artillery that you call M777 Howitzer and PzH 2000. What is the role of artillery in the ongoing battle?" Emperor Aurelius asked Maximus again.
"M777 Howitzer will not only bombard the enemy strategic infrastructure, they can also bombard enemy troops under their effective range. Unlike the M777 Howitzer, The PzH 2000 will provide continuous artillery support, adapting to the shifting frontline and delivering fire missions on enemy concentrations and strongpoints as they become exposed because they are easily mobile. We aim to maintain relentless pressure on the enemy, preventing them from regrouping or mounting a counterattack. We could tow the M777 Howitzer with our IVECO military truck. However, we could tow and reposition after the target area is sterile from enemy threat." Maximus explained the use of M777 Howitzer and PzH 2000.
"How about our traditional soldiers? Could you utilize them with this civil war? I know they are ready to defeat and capture the traitors of the slavery faction army." Emperor Aurelius asked again about using traditional soldiers of the Fortisregnum Empire.
"Of course, Your Majesty. We will utilize the traditional soldiers and militia to help us maintain the logistics supply and guard the logistics route from the enemy. From the military book of United Terran, logistics is the most important aspect of winning the war. 'The line between disorder and order lies in logistics' (Sun Tzu), 'Amateurs talk strategy. Professionals talk logistics' (General Omar Bradley), 'Infantry wins battles, logistics wins wars' (General John Pershing). We could have superior technology and power but lost in the war without sufficient logistics. Unfortunately, we have weaknesses in terms of weapons logistics. The modern weapons from United Terran are limited, and we cannot reproduce them for now. So, we must carefully take action during the battle to achieve total victory in this war, Your Majesty." Maximus explained the importance of logistics in the war.
Emperor Aurelius smiled, impressed by the thoroughness of the plan. He knew that the United Terran's modern weapons were limited, but they could ask the United Terran leaderboard to sell them or support them in constructing a military industry in the Fortisregnum Empire. Soon, Hugo and the United Terran leaderboard agreed to construct military industries in the Fortisregnum Empire. However, the CEO will always be the people of United Terran, while other positions and workers could be from the Fortisregnum Empire people.
"It seems you have covered all angles, Maximus. Your preparation and integration of modern warfare tactics with our traditional strengths give me confidence in your success. May Jupiter and Mars, the God of war, be with you and your legionnaires." Emperor Aurelius prays about the successful operation of Maximus and his legionnaires against the army of slavery factions.
"Thank you, Your Majesty. We will not fail you. The slavery faction will learn the true meaning of terror and precision that modern warfare brings. We will retake Noplos City and Colobria City and conquer Pampoi City. We will achieve triumph and glory to the empire." Maximus replied, his voice filled with determination.
The royal banquet continued with discussions of logistics, supplies, and further strategic details, ensuring every aspect of the upcoming campaign was meticulously planned. The atmosphere was one of unity and resolve, with the leaders of the Fortisregnum Empire and their United Terran allies standing firm against the tyranny of the slavery faction. The stage was set for a battle that would reshape the future of the Fortisregnum Empire.
Noble Palaces, Noplos City, 5 April 2141/ 5 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
Mr. 03, Duke Romulus, and Mr. 06 are in Noble Palace after they took Noplos City yesterday without resistance from Duke Antonius and the people of Noplos City. Fortunately, their second army is still powerful even though they lost some soldiers to the native agents of UT ISIA during the march to Noplos City. Mr. 03 feels irritated because their missions were late because of the action of enemy operatives. Mr. 03 then discusses with Duke Romulus and Mr. 06 the progress of their plan and the following plan to attack Aeterna City.
"We were late from our timeline to capture Noplos City because of enemy operative's raid and ambush during the march to Noplos City. Curse you, United Terran. We lost several engineers and elite forces during counterintelligence missions and repelling enemy land mines in the main route to Noplos City. Fortunately, we could capture this Noplos City without resistance from Duke Antionus and his army. However, why we cannot locate them? Are they retreating from Noplos City? How can they retreat and evacuate all of the people of Noplos City in 3 to 5 days?" Mr. 03 was angry because of the loss of the Slavery Faction army during the march to Noplos City and surprised because of no resistance from the Noplos City people.
"We lost contact with Tomnyy Rytsar's recon unit in Noplos City. We assume United Terran conducted massive counterintelligence to capture our unit in Noplos City. Maybe the United Terran secretly helped Duke Antonius and the people of Noplos City. Half of the road from Aeterna City to Noplos City is already constructed in the concrete road, so they will easily send their transport vehicles to evacuate the people." Mr. 06 assumes the United Terran helped Duke Antonius and the people of Noplos City retreat and evacuate from the Noplos City.
"I understand if they help to evacuate the people. However, evacuating hundreds of people in a mere five days is bizarre. How much is the logistic capability of United Terran to evacuate those massive people in a short time? We successfully defeated enemy operatives because we outnumbered them but suffered heavy damage to our aircraft. We lost many of our most elite forces in the second clash because they were outnumbered. We also lost many engineers while defusing and repelling their land mines. Their land mines are so bizarre that they could integrate magic and explosive powder. Their explosive power is more destructive than our bombs. Even the magic bombs of the United States of Amarilon are less than these bizarre land mines." Mr. 03 commented on the capability of United Terran to evacuate thousands of people in five days and the hybrid land mines and bombs from native agents of UT ISIA.
For reader information, native agents of UT ISIA utilize fire magic powder to replace the chemical explosive composition in the land mines. Then, they utilized the fire magic chant to improve the explosive damage caused by the fire magic powder. The advanced scientific technology of land mines with fire magic powder and fire magic enchant as explosion source became the first integrated magic power to the advanced science technology. This hybrid land mine is more potent than standard 21st-century land mines and magic bombs from the United States of Amarilon.
"Mr. 06, could you report the loss of our operatives, engineers, and weapons during the march? Could you conduct another reconnaissance to Aeterna City?" Duke Romulus asked Mr. 06 about the loss during the march and possible reconnaissance of the enemy condition.
"We lost more than fifty-five engineers from Black Shadow, one hundred and sixty engineers from Duke Romulus infantry, forty Tomnyy Rytsar' units, and more than one hundred weapons loss during the raid battle from Motherland and Weltenkraft Reich weapons. I do not dare to conduct land reconnaissance after suffering heavy casualties. The range of Aeterna City to the target location is more dangerous than the route from Pampoi City and Noplos City. I suggest conducting aerial reconnaissance with fighters from Weltenkraft Reich in the nighttime to prevent detection from the enemy. We could install our prototype night recon device for our jet fighters to the Bi-52, fighters from Weltenkraft Reich." Mr. 06 reported the casualties and suggested conducting aerial reconnaissance.
"We lost significant damage to our elite operatives and engineers. Even our modern weapons are lost because of this battle. We cannot underestimate United Terran's power. Are you sure you can install the prototype of night recon devices? I heard that our scientists and engineers in the Motherland rejected the device. How can you obtain those devices?" Mr. 03 responds.
"I got those devices from my comrades in NKGB, and I brought them to this mission to install in our Len jet fighters to improve their recon capability. Thanks to Mr. 01, we could install the device in their fighter to learn about the compatibility of the monoplane fighter. However, we need his approval to install this prototype device." Mr. 06 responded about the prototype devices from the PRU.
"Good, how long did you install that device? Also, ask for approval from Mr. 01 and then install this device on the Bi-52 fighter plane." Mr. 03 asked about the time needed to install the device.
"We need at least five days to install and five more days to test." Mr. 06 responds.
"We do not have much time. Make it five days to install and test. Also, send information to Mr. 07 to send other equipment, weapons, and additional armored units for the attack. Remember to keep cautious of enemy raids and ambushes." Mr. 03 ordered Mr. 06
"Yes, Sir. We will do our best." Mr. 06 responds.
"I do not understand the topic of technology, but we must be cautious before attacking Aeterna City. Fortunately, the people of Noplos City left plenty of resources and a stock of food for our troop's supply." Duke Romulus talked about the food resources and stock left in Noplos City.
"We could utilize these resources and food to supply our troops. We need to be cautious and not fall to the enemy attrition war like in the first army during the ambush of King Marcellus's army. All right, Your Grace. Let us inspect our army and raise their morale for the next battle." Mr. 03 invites Duke Romulus to inspect the slavery faction's second army.
"Yes, Sir. Mr. 03. We hope to finish this attack soon." Duke Romulus responds.
Then, both of them go to the military area of Noplos City and inspect them for the next battle.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 1 April 2141/ 1 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
Maximus and Colonel Ermey are already in the military training area. Colonel Ermey was ordered by General Zhukov, the Army's Chief of Staff, to become military attaché and approved by Emperor Aurelius to train the legionnaires in Aeterna City to prepare for the upcoming battle against the slavery faction army.
In the military training area of Aeterna City, the morning air was filled with anticipation. The legionnaires stood in disciplined rows, their eyes fixed on Colonel Ermey, the seasoned military drill officer. They were here to prepare for the looming battle against the slavery faction army. Colonel Ermey, a battle-hardened veteran with a commanding presence, addressed the legionnaires.
"Men, you are about to face a significant threat. The slavery faction army is formidable, but you have been equipped with new modern infantry weapons from my nation to ensure your success in this civil war. Today, we will train with the STG 44M, a cutting-edge rifle designed for efficiency and precision for your infantry weapons." Colonel Ermey greets the legionnaires and tells them about STG 44M
"Maximus, as the commander of legionnaires and my former best cadet, step forward and demonstrate the proper operation of the STG 44M to your legionnaires." He turned to Maximus, who stood at the ready and ordered him to demonstrate the operation of STG 44M.
Stolen novel; please report.
Maximus took the rifle from its case. He began by meticulously checking the weapon, ensuring all parts were in optimal condition. The legionnaires saw their commander obey Colonel Ermey's orders like a new cadet during Tirocinium (Initial training of Legionnaires). Maximus obeyed Colonel Ermey's orders and unconsciously showed his PTSD during the training in UT ISF training facilities.
"The first step is to inspect your weapon thoroughly. Maximus is now checking the magazine, the chamber, and the barrel to ensure there are no obstructions and that everything is in working order." Colonel Ermey began his explanation about weapon inspection.
Maximus pulled back the bolt and inspected the chamber, showing the legionnaires the importance of this initial step. He then smoothly inserted the magazine and chambered a round, his movements precise and practiced.
"Reloading the STG 44M is crucial. As you can see, Maximus inserts the magazine firmly and chambers a round efficiently. Speed and accuracy in reloading can be the difference between life and death in combat." Colonel Ermey continues his explanation about reloading ammo in the magazine to the chamber.
Maximus took a steady stance, aimed at a distant target, and fired several shots. Each report of the rifle echoed across the training ground, and each bullet struck the target with precision.
"Aiming and shooting with the STG 44M requires steady hands and focus. Maximus demonstrates the importance of a firm grip, controlled breathing, and proper sight alignment. Aim for center mass to maximize your effectiveness." Colonel Ermey's instruction about aiming and shooting the STG 44M.
Maximus continued to fire, each shot showcasing the rifle's accuracy and his expertise. The legionnaires watched closely, absorbing every detail of the demonstration.
"Remember, men. The STG 44M is a powerful weapon but requires skill and discipline. Maximus has shown you the basics today. It is up to each of you to practice and master these techniques. Your dedication to this training will determine our success in the upcoming battle." Colonel Ermey said,
The legionnaires nodded, their determination evident. The training session introduced them to a powerful new weapon and reinforced their commitment to their mission.
"Men, now it is your turn. Follow the steps you have seen Maximus demonstrate. Inspect your weapons thoroughly; remember, attention to detail is crucial." Colonel Ermey then ordered the legionnaires to proceed and inspect their STG 44M rifles.
The legionnaires moved with urgency, each taking a rifle and meticulously inspecting it. Maximus walked among them, observing their technique and offering pointers.
"Check the magazine first. Ensure it is properly seated, and do not let any errors or problems occur during the battle." Maximus advised one legionnaire
Heraclius, the vice commander, moved to the other side of the training ground, assisting the legionnaires. "Keep your eyes on the barrel. Any obstruction can be fatal. You will be dead because the enemy will shoot you while inspecting the gun during the battle, or you will be dead because the barrel exploded because of the jamming." he reminded them. His calm demeanor and a sharp eye for detail reassured the younger soldiers.
"Maximus, ensure everyone understands the importance of each step. Heraclius, double-check their work. We cannot afford mistakes." Colonel Ermey watched from a distance, his critical eye noting the progress, and ordered Maximus and Heraclius to check every legionnaire training with STG 44M.
Maximus nodded and turned to the nearest legionnaire. "Good, now pull back the bolt and inspect the chamber. It is vital to ensure it is clear before loading the magazine." The legionnaire followed his instructions, his hands steady but his eyes betraying a mixture of concentration and anxiety.
"Remember, when you insert the magazine, do it with confidence. The STG 44M requires a firm hand." Heraclius observed another group and ordered them to confidence to reload the assault rifles.
Once the inspections were completed, Colonel Ermey commanded, "Now, reload your magazines. Remember the technique Maximus demonstrated. Speed and accuracy are your friends."
The sound of magazines being inserted echoed across the training ground. Maximus and Heraclius moved among the rows, correcting form and encouraging the men. One legionnaire struggled with the reloading process, his hands shaking slightly.
Maximus approached him. "Steady now. Insert the magazine with a firm motion. Breathe and focus." The legionnaire nodded, following Maximus's guidance and successfully reloading the rifle.
"Good. Now, take your positions for target practice. Aim for the center mass, as Maximus showed you. Remember, control your breathing and maintain a firm grip." Colonel Ermey observed the interactions, making mental notes on each soldier's performance.
The legionnaires took their stances, rifles raised, eyes fixed on the distant targets. The first shots rang out, some finding their mark, others going astray. Maximus and Heraclius continued to move among them, offering tips and corrections.
"Keep your shoulders relaxed but firm. Let the rifle do the work; do not fight it." Heraclius instructed one tense soldier.
"Align your sights properly. Focus on the target and breathe steadily. Take your time; it is about accuracy, not speed." Maximus, noticing a soldier struggling with aiming, stepped in.
Colonel Ermey watched the scene unfold, his expression unreadable. After a few minutes, he called out, "Ceasefire!" The legionnaires lowered their rifles, awaiting further instruction.
"Overall, a solid first effort," Colonel Ermey said, his voice carrying across the training ground. "But remember, mastering the STG 44M will take time and practice. Maximus and Heraclius will continue to guide you. Your dedication to this training is crucial for our success."
The legionnaires nodded, their faces set with determination. Colonel Ermey then turned to Maximus and Heraclius. "You both did well today. Keep pushing them. We have little time to prepare. Tomorrow, we will train and test them to shoot the target at various ranges."
Maximus and Heraclius exchanged a glance, a silent acknowledgment of the weight of their responsibility. They knew the importance of their roles in preparing the legionnaires for the impending battle. As the training session ended, the morning air was thick with a renewed sense of purpose and resolve.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 2 April 2141/ 2 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
The dawn light cast long shadows across the training ground as the legionnaires assembled again, their expressions a mixture of determination and anticipation. The previous day's training had been intense, and they knew today would be even more demanding. Colonel Ermey stood before them, his presence commanding and authoritative.
"Men, today we will push your skills further. You will be tested on your ability to shoot targets at various ranges. Precision and control are key. Maximus and Heraclius will lead the exercises, ensuring you understand each step. Let us begin." Colonel Ermey ordered Maximus and Heraclius to lead the exercises of shooting STG 44M at various ranges and moving targets.
Maximus and Heraclius stepped forward, the former addressing the legionnaires first. "We will start with stationary targets at 150 meters. Each of you will take turns. Focus on your breathing, maintain a steady grip, and aim for center mass."
The first legionnaire stepped up, his hands slightly trembling. Maximus placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Remember what you learned yesterday. Breathe in, exhale slowly, and squeeze the trigger gently."
The soldier aimed, his eyes narrowing as he focused on the target. Before shooting, he chants the enhanced power magic. The rifle's report echoed across the training ground, and the bullet struck the target just off-center. Maximus nodded approvingly. "Good start. Next!"
The legionnaires took turns individually, with Maximus and Heraclius offering guidance and corrections. The shots rang out steadily, and the soldiers' confidence grew as the exercise progressed.
"Now, we move to 300 meters. The principles remain the same, but the distance will test your focus and control." Colonel Ermey announced the increase in the target range.
The legionnaires adjusted their positions, some squinting to see the farther targets. Heraclius stepped in to offer additional tips. "Adjust your sights slightly higher to compensate for the distance. Maintain a stable stance, and don't rush your shot. Remember to chant enhanced power magic to improve your handling and control of the guns." Heraclius advises the legionnaires to use enhanced power magic to improve their gun handling and control.
The firing continued, with each soldier showing varying degrees of success. Maximus and Heraclius moved among them, providing individualized feedback.
"Nice shot, but keep your shoulders relaxed," Maximus instructed one soldier who had hit the target's edge.
"Do not anticipate the recoil. Let it come naturally," Heraclius advised another.
Colonel Ermey said after completing the 300-meter shots, "Next is 450 meters. This action will challenge your precision even more. Remember, accuracy over speed."
The legionnaires repositioned themselves once more, their focus intense. The distance proved challenging, with some shots missing the target entirely. Maximus and Heraclius remained vigilant, correcting forms and encouraging the men.
"Adjust for windage. It is slight but can affect your shot at this range," Maximus explained to a struggling soldier.
"Keep your grip firm but not too tight. Let the rifle settle naturally," Heraclius added to another.
After completing 450 meters, they moved on to 600 meters. The targets seemed even smaller, and the legionnaires' determination was palpable. Colonel Ermey watched closely, noting the progress.
"600 meters is a true test of your skills. Trust your training, and stay focused," he reminded them.
The shots were fewer and farther between, with many soldiers finding it challenging to hit the mark. Maximus and Heraclius continued their rounds, offering support and advice.
Finally, it was time for the 750-meter shots. The distance was daunting, and the soldiers knew this was the ultimate test of their training.
"Remember everything you have learned. This action is where your dedication pays off," Colonel Ermey encouraged them.
The legionnaires aimed carefully, holding their breaths as they squeezed the triggers. The shots rang out, but only a few managed to hit the targets. Maximus and Heraclius encouraged those who struggled.
"Even if you missed, note what you did and improve. This action is a learning process," Maximus said.
"Good effort. Now, we move to move targets. This action will simulate real combat conditions. You will shoot at 300 meters, 500 meters, and 700 meters. Pay close attention to your aim and timing." Colonel Ermey addressed the group about shooting the moving target at various ranges.
The first moving targets appeared at 300 meters. The legionnaires took their positions, and the shots began. Hitting a moving target proved significantly harder, but the soldiers focused intently, adjusting their aim as needed.
"Lead your target slightly. Anticipate its movement," Heraclius advised one legionnaire.
"Do not rush your shot. Wait for the right moment," Maximus added.
The exercise continued with the targets at 500 meters and finally 700 meters. Each range brought new challenges, but the legionnaires showed remarkable improvement and determination.
After the final shots, Colonel Ermey gathered them. "You have made great progress. Remember, mastery comes with practice. Maximus and Heraclius will continue to guide you. Tomorrow, we will focus on tactical maneuvers and squad coordination. Dismissed."
The legionnaires dispersed, their spirits high despite the grueling session. Maximus and Heraclius exchanged glances, knowing their work was far from over but proud of their men's strides. The next day's training would bring new challenges, but they were ready to face them head-on.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 3 April 2141/ 3 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
As dawn broke over the military training area, the legionnaires assembled again, their spirits high and their determination unwavering. Today, the focus would be on tactical maneuvers and squad coordination, a critical aspect of their training that would prepare them for the complexities of battle.
Colonel Ermey stood before them, his commanding presence as intimidating as ever. "Men, we will test your ability to work as a cohesive unit today. Individual skill is important, but in battle, your survival depends on your ability to function as a team. Maximus, Heraclius, and other veteran legionnaires who successfully trained in United Terran will lead you through various exercises to enhance your coordination and tactical acumen."
Maximus stepped forward, his voice steady and authoritative. "We will begin with basic squad movements. Form into squads of ten. Each squad will practice advancing, retreating, and flanking maneuvers. Heraclius and I will be observing and providing feedback."
The legionnaires quickly organized themselves into squads, their movements precise and practiced. Maximus moved among them, ensuring they understood the instructions.
"Squad One, advance in a staggered column formation. Keep your spacing and maintain communication with your squad leader." Maximus instructed, his eyes scanning the formation for any signs of weakness.
The squad began to move, their steps synchronized and deliberate. Maximus watched closely, noting the fluidity of their movements and the coordination between squad members. Heraclius did the same with Squad Two, offering pointers and corrections.
"Good, keep your spacing tight but flexible. You need to be able to adapt to changing conditions on the battlefield." Heraclius advised, his tone calm and reassuring.
Maximus introduced the next exercise once the squads had practiced advancing and retreating. "Now, we will practice flanking maneuvers. This technique is crucial for gaining a tactical advantage over the enemy. In squad one, you will execute a left flank. Squad Two, you will execute a right flank. Move quickly and decisively."
The squads split and began their maneuvers, their movements swift and coordinated. Maximus and Heraclius moved among them, offering guidance and ensuring they maintained proper formation.
"Remember, speed and stealth are key. Move quickly, but stay low and keep your movements controlled." Maximus reminded them.
Colonel Ermey observed from a distance as the squads practiced, his critical eye noting their progress. After several rounds of maneuvers, he called them back together.
"Excellent work, men. You are showing significant improvement in your coordination and tactical movements. Remember, your ability to function as a unit will be the difference between victory and defeat in battle. Maximus and Heraclius will lead you through a series of simulated combat scenarios. These exercises test your ability to apply what you have learned under pressure."
Maximus nodded and turned to the legionnaires. "We will begin with a basic assault scenario. Each squad will take turns attacking a fortified position while the other squads provide covering fire. Pay close attention to your squad leader's commands and always maintain communication."
The first squad moved into position, their rifles at the ready. Maximus and Heraclius observed closely as the squad leader signaled to advance. The legionnaires moved swiftly, their movements coordinated and precise. The other squads covered fire, their shots echoing across the training ground.
"Move! Move! Keep your heads down and stay in formation!" The squad leader shouted, his voice barely audible over the din of gunfire.
The squad advanced, their movements fluid and controlled. They reached the fortified position and quickly neutralized the targets, their actions swift and decisive.
"Excellent work, Squad One. Now, fall back and let Squad Two take their turn." Maximus instructed, his voice filled with approval.
The exercise continued, with each squad taking turns assaulting the fortified position and providing covering fire. Maximus and Heraclius moved among them, offering guidance and ensuring they maintained proper formation and communication.
Heraclius reminded them, "Remember, communication is key. Keep your squad leader informed of your position and any changes in the situation."
After several rounds of the assault scenario, Colonel Ermey called them back together. "You have done well, men. Your coordination and tactical movements are improving with each exercise. Tomorrow, some of the legionnaires will train with MG 42M and the rest will continue to train with STG 44M. Dismissed."
The legionnaires dispersed, their spirits high and their determination unwavering. Maximus and Heraclius exchanged glances, knowing their work was far from over but proud of their men's strides. The next day's training would bring new challenges, but they were ready to face them head-on.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 5 April 2141/ 5 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
The early morning sun bathed the military training area in a warm glow as the legionnaires assembled again, their anticipation palpable. Today's training would introduce a new and formidable weapon: the MG 42M, a modernized version of the machine gun known for its devastating firepower and rapid rate of fire. Colonel Ermey stood before them, his expression stern and focused.
"Men, today we will focus on the MG 42M. This weapon is a game-changer on the battlefield, providing crucial suppression fire to keep the enemy at bay. Only the most robust among you will be chosen to operate it. Maximus and Heraclius will lead the training, ensuring you understand every aspect of this machine gun, from inspection to operation."
Maximus stepped forward, scanning the assembled legionnaires. "Those of you with the strongest physiques, step forward. You will be our machine gunners. The rest of you will assist and provide support as needed."
A group of robust and muscular legionnaires stepped forward, their expressions determined. Maximus nodded approvingly and motioned for them to gather around.
"First, we will inspect the MG 42M. Understanding the components and ensuring the weapon is in optimal condition is crucial. Follow my lead." Maximus instructed, his voice steady and authoritative.
He began by carefully uncrating the MG 42M, laying it out for the legionnaires to see. "This is the MG 42M. We will start with the barrel. It needs to be clean and free of obstructions."
Maximus demonstrated how to remove and inspect the barrel, pointing out areas that needed particular attention. The legionnaires watched closely, absorbing every detail.
"Now, the receiver. Ensure no dirt or debris could cause jamming." He continued, showing them how to check the receiver and clean it if necessary.
Heraclius moved among the legionnaires, offering additional pointers and ensuring they understood the inspection process. "The feed system is next. Make sure it operates smoothly. Any issues here can cause catastrophic failures during combat."
The inspection continued, with Maximus and Heraclius guiding the legionnaires through each component: the firing mechanism, bolt and bolt carrier, and other critical parts of the MG 42M.
"Attention to detail is vital," Maximus reminded them. "A well-maintained machine gun can mean the difference between life and death on the battlefield."
Once the inspection was complete, Maximus turned to the next training phase. "Now that you understand the components, it is time to learn how to operate the MG 42M. We will start with setting up and aiming."
He demonstrated how to set up the bipod and take a stable firing position. "Stability is key. The MG 42M has significant recoil, and maintaining control is essential for accurate fire."
The legionnaires took turns setting up the MG 42M, with Maximus and Heraclius correcting their stances and offering tips for maintaining stability.
"Good. Now, we move on to firing. The MG 42 M's rate of fire is incredibly high, so you must control your bursts to avoid overheating and jamming. Watch closely."
Maximus fired, aimed at a distant target, and squeezed the trigger in short, controlled bursts. The rapid succession of gunfire echoed across the training ground, and the bullets precisely struck the target.
"Short, controlled bursts," Maximus repeated, standing up and gesturing for the first legionnaire to take his place. "Suppressive fire is about control, not just volume. Keep your bursts short and your aim steady."
The legionnaires took turns firing the MG 42M, each focusing on maintaining control and accuracy. Maximus and Heraclius moved among them, offering guidance and corrections.
"Focus on your breathing," Heraclius advised one legionnaire struggling with the recoil. "Let the machine gun do the work. You need to guide it."
"Keep your bursts short. Overheating can be deadly in the middle of a firefight. You must change the overheated barrel to a new one." Maximus reminded another about the possibility of overheating.
As the training session progressed, the legionnaires grew more comfortable with the MG 42M, their confidence increasing with each successful burst. Colonel Ermey observed from a distance, his critical eye noting their progress.
"Excellent work," Colonel Ermey finally said, stepping forward. "You are showing remarkable improvement. Remember, the MG 42M is a tool for suppression and stopping the enemy. It would be best to pin the enemy down, allowing your comrades to maneuver and strike. Tomorrow, we will incorporate the MG 42M into larger tactical exercises. Dismissed."
The legionnaires dispersed, their spirits high despite the grueling session. Maximus and Heraclius exchanged glances, knowing their work was far from over but proud of their men's strides. The next day's training would bring new challenges, but they were ready to face them head-on.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 6 April 2141/ 6 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
The dawn light again illuminated the training ground as the legionnaires assembled, their determination unwavering. Today's training would integrate the MG 42M into full-scale tactical exercises, combining everything they had learned over the past days.
Colonel Ermey addressed them, his voice firm and commanding. "Men, today you will be tested on your ability to utilize the MG 42M in live combat scenarios. Maximus and Heraclius will lead the exercises. This training is crucial. Your ability to effectively coordinate and utilize suppression fire will determine our success in the upcoming battle."
Maximus stepped forward, addressing the legionnaires. "We will begin with a simulated assault on a fortified position. Each squad will have an MG 42M team providing suppression fire while the rest of the squad advances. Communication and coordination are key. Let us get started."
The first squad took their positions, and the MG 42M team set up and prepared to provide cover. Maximus signaled for the exercise to begin, and the MG 42M roared to life, its rapid-fire echoing across the training ground.
"Advance!" The squad leader shouted, and the legionnaires moved forward, staying low and using the suppressive fire to their advantage.
Maximus and Heraclius moved among them, offering guidance and corrections. "Keep your movements coordinated," Maximus instructed. "Use the cover of the machine gunners provided to your advantage."
"Maintain communication with your MG team," Heraclius added. "They need to know where you are and when to shift their fire."
The exercise continued, with each squad taking turns assaulting the fortified position and providing suppressive fire with the MG 42M. The legionnaires showed remarkable improvement. Their movements were coordinated, and their communication was clear.
"Excellent work," Colonel Ermey said, calling them back together after the exercise. "You are showing significant progress. Remember, suppression fire is about controlling the battlefield. Your ability to effectively utilize the MG 42M will give us a decisive advantage in battle. Next, people around you who have good sight and the highest accuracy will train with Gewehr 43M for marksmanship training. The rest will continue their STG 44M and MG 42M."
The legionnaires nodded, their determination evident. Maximus and Heraclius exchanged glances, knowing their men were ready for the challenges ahead. The training had been grueling, but it had forged them into a formidable force, ready to face any threat that came their way.

After the initial exercises with the MG 42M, Colonel Ermey gathered the legionnaires with sharp eyesight and high accuracy for specialized marksmanship training with the Gewehr 43M. These legionnaires were selected for their exceptional skills and would be trained to become elite marksmen shooters, providing precise long-range support on the battlefield.
Colonel Ermey addressed the group, his voice filled with authority. "Maximus and Flavius, you will lead these men through the marksmanship training with the Gewehr 43M. The rifle is a powerful tool, and in your hands, it will become a deadly weapon. Begin with the basics, ensure they understand every component, and then move on to shooting drills."
Maximus and Flavius nodded, stepping forward to begin the training. Flavius is one of the best marksmanship cadets in UT ISF training. After the training, he became the commander of elite marksmen shooters in elite legionnaires during the Civil War. Before that, he and Maximus will train and monitor the legionnaires' use of Gewehr 43M as marksman rifles.
"Men, gather around," Flavius began. "The Gewehr 43M is a semi-automatic rifle designed for precision and power. Before we start shooting, you must understand each component and its function."
Flavius uncrated the Gewehr 43M and laid it out for the legionnaires to see.
"First, the barrel," Maximus said, carefully removing it. "It needs to be clean and free of obstructions to ensure accuracy. Inspect it thoroughly."
He demonstrated how to check the barrel, pointing out critical areas that needed attention. The legionnaires watched intently, mimicking his actions.
"Next, the action system. This component is the heart of the rifle, where the firing process occurs. Any dirt or debris here can cause malfunctions." Maximus showed them how to inspect and clean the action system.
Flavius moved to the magazine. "The magazine must feed rounds smoothly. Check for any deformities or debris that could cause jams."
The legionnaires followed his instructions, scrutinizing the magazines to check the condition.
"Now, the trigger and safety system," Flavius continued. "A smooth trigger pull is essential for accuracy. Ensure the trigger mechanism is clean and functional. The safety system must engage and disengage without any hitches."
He demonstrated the inspection of the trigger and safety system, with the legionnaires closely observing.
"Lastly, the optic sight," Flavius said, holding up the sight. "Clear optics are crucial for long-range accuracy. Check for any scratches or dirt on the lenses. Ensure the sight is properly calibrated."
The legionnaires inspected the optic sights, learning to clean and adjust them for optimal performance. With the inspections complete, Maximus led the legionnaires to the shooting range.
"We will start by shooting at fixed targets at various ranges. This action will help you understand the Gewehr 43M's capabilities and improve your accuracy over distance." Maximus announced the start of shooting training with Gewerh 43M
Flavius then set up the targets at 300 meters. "This is a moderate range. Focus on breathing, control your trigger pull, and aim for the center mass. Remember, one shoot, one kill." Flavius tells the marksmen's legionnaires about controlling the aim before firing the rifles.
The legionnaires took turns firing, with Maximus and Flavius offering guidance. They emphasized the importance of a steady aim and smooth trigger pull. All shots successfully hit the target accurately.
Then, Flavius tells the legionnaires to change the targets to 500 meters.
"Wind and bullet drop play a more significant role at this range. Adjust your sights accordingly. Remember, one shot, one kill." Flavius instructed the legionnaires to keep accurately shooting at longer ranges.
The legionnaires adjusted their optic sights and continued firing, learning to compensate for the increased distance. After firing the rifles, all the legionnaires could shoot the target accurately.
After successfully shooting at 500 m accurately, Flavius increase the target range to 700 meters.
"Now, you must account for even more bullet drop and wind drift. Take your time. Make your shots count. Remember, one shoot, one kill." Flavius always reminds them they only need one shoot to hit the target.
The legionnaires focused on their breathing and sight adjustments, trying to hit targets with growing confidence. Because of the higher range, some people slightly missed their target, while most successfully hit it.
"That is okay to miss the shoot during the training. However, do not let this happen during the operation. Keep training and stay focused." Flavius appreciated the result.
After several shoots, all legionnaires under marksmanship training successfully hit the target at 700 meters.
Then, the targets moved further, and the legionnaires trained to shoot at 850 meters.
"Patience is key at this range. Small movements can make a big difference. Remember to account for the bullet drop and wind drift because the effect is significant. First, shoot it like normal protocol. If the shoot is missed, try to enhance your accuracy with enhanced magic." Flavius advises the legionnaires. Flavius offered tips on maintaining stability and precisely adjusting their aim.
After the first shooting, more than fifty percent of the legionnaires missed the shooting to various degrees, from slight misses to total misses. Then, they chant the enhanced power and accuracy magic to improve their handling and accuracy while shooting the rifles. Finally, more than ninety percent of legionnaires could hit the target accurately, while the rest slightly missed the target.
Then, Flavius increase the final range to 1000 meters as the target shooting. This action evaluates the best of marksmanship and could promote sniper training.
"This is the maximum range for today. Focus on everything you have learned. Control your breathing, aim steadily, and compensate for environmental factors. Utilize enhanced magic to enhance your power." Flavius announced.
The legionnaires took their time, firing at the distant targets with determination. At first, most of them missed the target because of the more extended range and interfered with by environmental factors. After they use their enhanced magic, thirty percent of legionnaires can hit accurately, fifty percent slightly miss the target, and the rest miss the target at various degrees. Each successful hit was met with nods of approval from Maximus and Flavius, while for the missed target, they appreciated and told them to train more.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 8 April 2141/ 8 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
The next day, Maximus and Flavius gathered the legionnaires after the initial round of training. The legionnaires had shown remarkable progress, but now it was time to challenge their skills further with moving targets. This test would be essential for real battlefield scenarios where targets seldom remain stationary.
"Listen up. We have practiced hitting stationary targets, but you will face moving enemies in the heat of battle. Today, we will train you to track and shoot moving targets. Precision and timing are key." Maximus called out about the next training, shooting the moving targets.
Flavius stepped forward, holding a remote control device from the United Terran. "We will start with targets at 500 meters. These targets will move at a steady pace, simulating a running enemy. Focus on leading your shots. Aim where the target will be, not where it is."
The legionnaires adjusted their stances and prepared their rifles as the targets began to move. The targets were humanoid shapes mounted on rails that moved left to right and back. Flavius demonstrated the lead technique, firing a shot that struck a target mid-motion.
"Watch the rhythm. Breathe, track, and squeeze the trigger gently. Remember, one shoot, one kill." Flavius advises the legionnaires.
The legionnaires took turns, each getting a feel for the moving targets. At first, hits were sporadic, but with each round, they improved. Maximus and Flavius walked among them, offering tips and corrections.
"Adjust for speed. If the target moves faster, lead it more. Moreover, remember, always aim for center mass." Flavius advises the legionnaires to focus and simulate the next position of the target.
After several rounds, most legionnaires could consistently hit the moving targets at 500 meters. Flavius then raised the stakes.
"Now, we move to 750 meters. The targets will move faster, and you must account for distance and speed. Lead your shots and use enhanced magic if necessary. Remember to simulate the next position of the enemy." Flavius advises the legionnaires to increase the target range to 750 meters.
The legionnaires recalibrated their sights and prepared for the next challenge. As the targets began moving at a longer distance, the difficulty increased. Flavius and Maximus continued to offer guidance, emphasizing the importance of leading shots and maintaining steady aim.
"Take your time. It's better to miss a shot in training than in battle. In the training, you only get punished by the trainer, but you will lose your life and even your comrades on the battlefield. Train as you fight, and fight as you train." Flavius reminded them that focus in training is essential and that they must simulate the actual battle.
The legionnaires fired, and slowly, they began to adapt to the increased range and target speed. Some struggled, but many improved their accuracy with encouragement and repeated practice. Some used enhanced magic to stabilize their aim and enhance their focus.
"Good work. Now, for the final challenge. Flavius, increase the target range so our legionnaires can improve their skill in shooting moving targets at a long range." Maximus praised as more legionnaires hit their marks and wanted to increase the target range.
"Yes, Legatus Maximus. I will set the final target to moving at 1000 meters." Flavius reset the legionnaires' targets to 1000 meters.
"This is the ultimate test. The targets will move quickly, and the environmental factors will be more pronounced. Use everything you have learned: breathing, leading your shots, and enhanced magic. Remember, precision and timing. One shoot, one kill." Flavius advises and encourages the legionnaires for the final shooting test.
The legionnaires prepared for the final test. The moving targets appeared, and the legionnaires began to fire. The increased distance and speed made this the most formidable challenge yet. Flavius and Maximus observed closely, offering advice and corrections.
"Steady your breathing. Predict the target's movement." Maximus praised as more legionnaires tried to hit their marks.
Despite the difficulty, the legionnaires showed determination. Although all the legionnaires missed their shots initially, they adjusted quickly, using enhanced magic to aid their accuracy. Their performance improved with each round.
"Excellent work. Remember, this is just the beginning. Keep practicing, and you will master these skills." Flavius said after several rounds.
After several hours of missed shots of the moving target, most legionnaires could improve and hit the target even though it was not precisely accurate. They continued to hone their shooting until they could hit the moving target accurately.
The training concluded with a final assessment. Those who demonstrated exceptional accuracy and composure were noted for potential sniper training. Maximus and Flavius gathered the legionnaires for a final debrief.
"Good job, legionnaires. You have all shown great potential. Continue to hone your skills. The battlefield is unforgiving, but you can turn the tide of any battle with the proper training." Maximus appreciated the performance of the legionnaires in the marksmanship training.
Flavius nodded in agreement. "Remember, one shot, one kill. Stay focused, stay sharp, and you will become the elite marksmen this legion needs."
"Good job, Maximus and Flavius. Two days from now, we will conduct a simulation operation with my boys at UT ISF. Maximus, you and your legionnaires will spar with special forces from United Terran International Special Forces units. The legionnaires will learn about fighting professional soldiers. All right, take a rest and prepare for the next sparring." Colonel Ermey tells about the incoming sparring with the UT ISF unit.
"Sir, yes, Sir." Maximus and all legionnaires respond to the order from Colonel Ermey.
With that, the legionnaires were dismissed, ready to continue their journey toward becoming elite special forces of the Fortisregnum empire, prepared for any challenge the battlefield might present.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 9 April 2141 / 9 Aprilis 1841, 07:00 am
The training area was alive with activity as the legionnaires prepared for their most challenging test yet. They would spar with the elite United Terran International Special Forces (UT ISF). This exercise would push them to their limits, testing their skills against some of the most formidable soldiers in the world.
Colonel Ermey stood before the assembled legionnaires, his presence commanding attention. "Men, you will engage in combat simulations against the UT ISF. They are among the best, but so are you. Remember what you have learned. Utilize your training with the STG 44M, MG 42M, and Gewehr 43M to its fullest. This action is your chance to prove your worth and gain valuable experience."
Then Colonel Ermey called Captain Gump, the commander of UT ISF, to support the legionnaires's operation in the Fortisregnum Empire Civil War.
"This man is Captain Alexander Gump, Commander of UT ISF to support the legionnaires during the Civil War and one of the best operators in UT ISF. He and his unit will become your sparing partner. You must conduct this operation carefully because we will simulate the actual battle. Remember to take caution during the sparing." Colonel Ermey introduced Captain Gump.
"Captain Alexander Gump, at your service." Captain Gump stepped forward, his voice steady and authoritative.
Lieutenant Joker, Lieutenant Peyle, and other mentors of Maximus and his legionnaires in the training facilities also joined this operation during the Fortisregnum Empire Civil War.
"We will be conducting two main operations. First, the UT ISF will defend a fortified position, and you will attack. In the second, you will defend, and they will attack. You must work as a cohesive unit, using every tactic and skill you have trained for." Colonel Ermey explained about the incoming sparing operation.
The legionnaires listened intently, their expressions a mix of determination and anticipation.
"Both sides will use the same weapons and equipment for fair play. This sparring includes STG 44M rifles, MG 42M machine guns, and Gewehr 43M marksman rifles. We will also use drones, radio communication, and other support equipment. This action will be a true test of your abilities." Colonel Ermey continues his explanation of the rule of weapons during sparing.
"Remember, the key to success is communication and coordination. Keep your squad leaders informed of your positions and any changes in the situation. Use the recon devices to your advantage. We will conduct a final round of drills today to ensure everyone is prepared." Colonel Ermey finished his explanation.
That day, Maximus and his legionnaires conducted a simulation with their internal before sparing with the UT ISF in the next two days.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 10 April 2141 / 10 Aprilis 1841, 09:00 am
Today is the day of the simulation of operation sparing between the legionnaires and UT ISF. The legionnaires formed were ready to face the UT ISF in the first operation. Colonel Ermey addressed them one last time before the exercise began.
"Men, this is it. Show the UT ISF unit what you are made under harsh training. Follow your training, trust your instincts, and work together. Maximus and Heraclius will lead you through this. You need to defeat the UT ISF or make them surrender. The limit is until sunset; you lose it if you can not capture it. Good luck." Colonel Ermey encouraged Maximus and the legionnaires.
The first operation began with the UT ISF taking defensive positions in a simulated urban environment adapted to the urban conditions in Fortisregnum Empire cities, such as Noplos City, Pampoi City, and Colobria City. The simulation area was a sprawling complex of crumbling buildings, narrow alleyways, and deserted carriages, creating a labyrinthine network of defensive positions. The UT ISF, experienced in urban warfare, fortified their positions, setting up sniper nests, machine gun emplacements, and improvised barricades.
Under Maximus's command, the legionnaires moved swiftly and silently, utilizing their training to approach the fortified position. Drones provided real-time reconnaissance, feeding information to the squad leaders.
"Squad One, advance on the left flank. Squad Two provides covering fire. Remember, stay low and move quickly," Maximus instructed, his voice steady and calm over the radio.
The legionnaires executed their movements with military precision, using the cover of the buildings to their advantage. The UT ISF responded with disciplined fire, their soldiers expertly utilizing choke points and elevated positions to repel the attackers. The crackle of gunfire echoed through the air, punctuated by the sharp commands of the squad leaders.
"Heraclius, take your team and flank from the right. We will provide suppressing fire from here," Maximus ordered, his eyes scanning the battlefield.
Heraclius, a burly soldier known for fearlessness, acknowledged the order. He led his squad on a flanking maneuver, moving cautiously through the debris-strewn streets. The MG 42M in their hands roared to life, laying down suppressive fire. The sound of gunfire reverberated through the training area as the legionnaires closed in on the UT ISF positions. The UT ISF, however, had anticipated the flanking maneuver. They repositioned their forces, setting up ambush points along Heraclius's route.
As Heraclius's squad advanced, they were met with a coordinated barrage of fire. The well-prepared and strategically placed UT ISF soldiers utilized the height advantage of buildings and fortified barricades to pin down the legionnaires. Heraclius and his men were caught in a deadly crossfire, their progress halted by the unrelenting onslaught.
"Squad One, we are pinned down! Requesting immediate assistance!" Heraclius's voice crackled over the radio, filled with urgency and frustration.
"Hold your position, Heraclius. Squad Two, provide covering fire and attempt to draw their attention," Maximus commanded, his mind racing to find a solution.
Maximus assessed the situation quickly, realizing the dire need for a new strategy. The UT ISF's anticipation of their flanking maneuver had placed Heraclius and his squad vulnerable. The legionnaires needed to outmaneuver the UT ISF's defenses.
"Squad One, hold your position and provide suppressing fire," Maximus ordered over the radio. "Squad Three, prepare to move out. We are going to execute a pincer movement to relieve Heraclius."
Squad Three, under the command of Agrippus, quickly regrouped and awaited further instructions. Maximus devised a plan to use the environment to their advantage, incorporating elements of stealth and surprise.
"Agrippus, take your squad and move through the eastern alleyways. Use the buildings for cover and approach their rear. When you are in position, signal me. We will time our assault to coincide with yours," Maximus instructed, confident and steady.
Agrippus acknowledged the order, and Squad Three began their stealthy advance, moving carefully through the narrow alleyways and ruined buildings. The UT ISF's attention remained focused on Heraclius's pinned squad and the covering fire from Squad One.
Meanwhile, Maximus coordinated with his squad leaders, ensuring that each movement was synchronized. The legionnaires maintained their disciplined approach, utilizing their training to keep the UT ISF occupied and unaware of Agrippa's flanking maneuver.
As Agrippus's squad approached the rear of the UT ISF positions, they encountered minimal resistance, thanks to the UT ISF's focus on the front lines. Agrippus signaled Maximus, indicating that they were in position.
"All units, prepare for a coordinated assault. On my mark, we strike simultaneously." Maximus commanded.
The air was thick with tension as the legionnaires readied themselves. Maximus's keen tactical mind calculated the perfect moment to launch the attack.
"Now!" Maximus shouted over the radio.
Squad One intensified their suppressing fire, drawing the UT ISF's attention even more. Simultaneously, Agrippus's squad emerged from the shadows, opening fire on the UT ISF from behind. The sudden onslaught from two directions caught the UT ISF off guard.
Maximus seized the opportunity, leading Squad Two in a direct assault to reinforce Heraclius's position. The combined pressure from the front and rear forced the UT ISF to adapt quickly, but their defenses remained strong under the relentless assault.
"Heraclius, push forward! We are breaking through!" Maximus urged, his voice filled with determination.
Heraclius, revitalized by the support, rallied his squad and advanced, laying down suppressive fire as they moved. The legionnaires' coordinated attack overwhelmed the UT ISF initially, but their superior tactics soon turned the tide. Though experienced and disciplined, the UT ISF quickly adapted to the situation.
The simulated urban battlefield echoed with gunfire and shouted commands as the legionnaires pressed their advantage. However, with their superior strategic positioning and tactical awareness, the UT ISF managed to counter the legionnaires' maneuvers effectively.
Despite the legionnaires' best efforts, the UT ISF's disciplined and strategic response gradually pushed the legionnaires back. The UT ISF utilized their fortified positions and coordinated efforts to regain battlefield control.
"Cease fire! Cease fire!" came the order from Colonel Ermey, signaling the end of the simulation.
Maximus and his men halted their advance, recognizing their defeat. The exercise tested their skills and strategies, revealing areas for improvement.
Observing the entire operation, Colonel Ermey approached Maximus and his squad as they regrouped.
"Maximus, you led your men well, but the UT ISF's tactics prevailed today. Learn from this experience. Every defeat is an opportunity to grow stronger." Colonel Ermey commended, his voice filled with pride and a lesson in humility.
"Thank you, Colonel. We will analyze our tactics and come back stronger." Maximus nodded, his expression severe but determined.
Colonel Ermey smiled, looking at the exhausted but resolute legionnaires. "Indeed. Continue to train hard; the battles ahead will demand more from you. However, for now, rest and take pride in your efforts today. You have shown great potential. Prepare for the next operation."
Though disappointed by their loss, the legionnaires cheered to acknowledge their efforts and lessons learned. The simulation tested their abilities to attack the enemy in modern warfare, and they were ready to improve and face any challenge. Then, they prepare for the next sparing operation.
Military Training Area, Aeterna Region, 11 April 2141 / 11 Aprilis 1841, 09:00 am
The sun hung high in the clear blue sky, casting sharp shadows across the rugged terrain of the military training area in the Aeterna Region. It was the second operation of the day, and the roles were reversed this time. The legionnaires, clad in camouflaged armor, took up defensive positions, their faces set with determination. The UT ISF, renowned for their superior tactics and combat experience, prepared to launch their attack. The tension in the air was palpable as both sides readied themselves for the upcoming clash.
"Remember, communication and coordination are key. Use the recon devices to track their movements. Stay alert and be ready for anything." Maximus ordered his legionnaires and stood tall, surveying the field with a steely gaze. His steady and commanding voice cut through the anticipation.
The legionnaires nodded, their eyes fixed on their commander. They had trained hard for this moment and knew what was at stake. The recon drones buzzed overhead, feeding real-time updates to their handheld devices. The defenders adjusted their positions, scanning the horizon for any signs of movement.
As the UT ISF began advancing, the legionnaires responded with disciplined fire. The distinctive crack of the Gewehr 43M rifles echoed across the field, marksmen picking off targets from a distance with pinpoint accuracy. The MG 42M teams laid a relentless barrage of suppressive fire, their barrels glowing red-hot from the sustained bursts.
"Squad Three, hold the left flank. Squad Four covers the right. We need to keep them from breaking through," Maximus ordered, his voice calm and authoritative.
The squads moved with precision, their movements fluid and well-coordinated. The left flank dug in, their rifles trained on the advancing enemy. Squad Four set up a makeshift barricade on the right, providing cover for their comrades.
Maximus watched the UT ISF advance with precision, their movements like a well-rehearsed dance. His mind raced as he considered the best way to hold their position and suppress the advancing unit. He knew that their superior tactics and combat experience made them a formidable foe. He needed to act fast.
"Squad One, shift your fire to the center! Squad Two, return to the secondary position and prepare to counter-attack!" Maximus barked, his voice carrying over the din of battle. He knew they could hold the line if they could disrupt the enemy's momentum.
The legionnaires responded swiftly, adjusting their positions and intensifying their fire. The Gewehr 43M rifles cracked again and again, while the MG 42M teams maintained their relentless barrage. Despite their efforts, the UT ISF pressed on, their movements methodical and calculated.
Maximus scanned the battlefield, his eyes catching every detail. He noticed a weak point in their left flank, where the UT ISF focused their efforts. He had to act quickly to reinforce it.
"Heraclius, take your squad and reinforce the left flank! We cannot let them break through!" Maximus ordered.
"Yes, Legatus!" Haeraclius replied, leading his squad to the threatened position.
Despite their best efforts, the UT ISF continued to advance. They moved with a level of coordination and efficiency that was almost inhuman. They exploited every weakness in the legionnaires' defenses, breaching their lines with calculated precision.
Maximus gritted his teeth, frustration mounting as he saw his men being pushed back. He knew they were fighting valiantly, but it was becoming clear that the UT ISF's superior tactics were proving too much for them.
"We cannot hold them here, Legatus!" one of his legionnaires called out. "They are breaching our lines!"
Maximus clenched his fists, his mind racing for a solution. He refused to give up, even in the face of overwhelming odds. He called out another order, his voice filled with determination.
"All units, fall back to the final defensive line! We will make our stand there!" he commanded.
The legionnaires obeyed, retreating in an orderly fashion to their last line of defense. They dug in, preparing for the final assault. Maximus stood among them, his eyes fierce and resolute. He knew this was their last chance to hold off the enemy.
The UT ISF pressed their advantage, closing in on the final defensive line. Despite the legionnaires' best efforts, the UT ISF's superior tactics and experience once again proved decisive. They breached the final line, encircling Maximus and his men.
"Hold your fire! You are surrounded. Surrender now." Captain Gump, the commander of UT ISF, called out.
Maximus looked around, seeing the exhausted faces of his men. They had fought bravely, but it was clear they could not hold out any longer. He raised his hand, signaling for them to stand down.
"We surrender," Maximus said, his voice heavy with resignation.
The UT ISF soldiers moved in, securing the area and taking the legionnaires into custody as the simulated surrender position. Maximus watched as his men laid down their arms, a mixture of frustration and respect in his eyes. The UT ISF had demonstrated why they were considered elite.
As Maximus and his legionnaires were led away, he could not help but reflect on the battle. They had given it their all, but the experience and tactics of the UT ISF had been too much to overcome. He vowed to learn from this defeat, to train harder and come back stronger.
Colonel Ermey stopped the exercise. His voice boomed across the training field as he gathered both teams for a debrief.
"Well done, everyone. The UT ISF showed their expertise, but you legionnaires have come a long way. You gained valuable experience today. Remember, this is just the beginning. Keep training and improving." Colonel Ermey said.
Maximus stepped forward, his expression one of pride and determination. "You did well," he addressed his men. "We learned a lot today. Let's take these lessons and continue to grow stronger. We will be ready for any challenge that comes our way."
One of the legionnaires, a young soldier named Lucius, raised his hand. "Colonel, how can we improve our defense against such a well-coordinated attack?"
Colonel Ermey nodded, appreciating the question. "Good question, Lucius. It would be best if you worked on your situational awareness and adaptability. The UT ISF excels because they can adjust their tactics on the fly. You need to train yourself to do the same. Use the recon data more effectively, communicate constantly, and always be ready to adapt to new threats." Colonel Ermey explained
Another legionnaire, a seasoned marksman named Cassius, chimed in. "I noticed their flanking maneuvers were particularly effective. How can we counter those?"
"Excellent observation, Cassius. You must set up early warning systems and ensure our flanks are always covered. It is about anticipating their moves and being proactive rather than reactive." Colonel Ermey answered.
"Remember, soldiers, this is a learning process. Every exercise is an opportunity to improve. Do not be discouraged by today's outcome. Instead, use it as motivation to become better." Colonel Ermey advises to legionnaires.
The legionnaires nodded, their resolve strengthened by the day's experiences. They had faced one of the toughest opponents and had learned valuable lessons. They were determined to continue their training, ready to become the elite special forces unit the Fortisregnum Empire needed.
As the teams dispersed, Maximus placed a hand on Lucius's shoulder. "You have got potential, Lucius. Keep asking questions and seeking ways to improve. That is how you become a great soldier."
Lucius smiled, his confidence bolstered by his commander's words. "Thank you, Legatus. I will do my best."
Maximus nodded, a proud smile on his face. "I know you will. We all will. Let us get to work, gentlemen. We have got a lot to do."
The legionnaires dispersed, their spirits high despite the day's challenges. They knew they had a long road ahead, but they were ready to face it together, united in their goal to protect the Fortisregnum Empire and become the best soldiers they could be.
While the legionnaires are conducting training in the military area, the Slavery Faction Second Army's attack on Aeterna Region will begin.
