Rain Before Storm

Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force (CTF), Central Ocean, 05 March 2141/ 05 Martius 1841, 09:00 am

Mr.01, aka Anton Skorzeny, is talking with Admiral Otto Lütjens, Admiral of Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force, and Captain Hans Lindemann, Captain of Weltenmarine Ship (WMS) Koester Super Battleships on the bridge of Koester. Unlike other hyperpower and superpower nations that only focused on aircraft carriers, Weltenkraft Reich still romanticized battleships with big guns and adamant armor. Their doctrine was similar to Germany in World War II: big size, gun, and armor.

Even the flagship of the Carrier Task Force Kaiser Frederick Super Aircraft Carrier has a size that resembles the USS George Bush (CVN-77), 332 m in length and 77 m in beam. Kaiser Frederick Super Aircraft Carrier can carry 80 Bismarck Tornado, a Multirole Jet Aircraft that resembles Panavia Tornado. Kaiser Frederick also has four Feuerlilie Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) for air defense against the incoming missile and jet aircraft threat. He also carried four 35 mm Blitz Close-in Weapon Systems (CIWS) against slow aircraft and small ships.

WMS Koester Super battleships have become the largest battleships in Earth and Luminarum history and are the flagship of his class. Koester resembles H-44 super battleships, 345 m in length and 51.5 m in beam, bigger than IJN Yamato, USS Iowa, and United Terran's new proposed battleships, Aegir Class, 300 m in length and 40 m in beam. However, unlike H-44 with 8 x 20-inch guns (50.8 cm), Koester-class Super Battleships mount 8 x 21-inch guns (53.34 cm).

Koester can carry four Fritz Anti Ship Missiles (AShM), two Hagelkorn Land Attack Missiles (LAM), and four Feuerlilie SAM through the vertical launcher system VLS. Four 35 mm Blitz CIWS defend Koester against enemy slow aircraft and small ships. Guided by radar and proximity fuzes, Koester can annihilate all current ships in Luminarum, even the most significant aircraft carrier in the United States of Amarilon and dreadnought of the People's Republic of Uroslav. Some people also said Koester was a Super Missile Battleship because he carried more missiles as the main armament than the primary 21-inch cannons.

The mighty of WMS Koester inspired the People of Weltenkraft Reich to create a poem for him (based on Sabaton, Bismarck lyrics).

Pride of a Reich, a beast made of steel.

Koester in motion.

Kaiser of the ocean.

He was made to rule the waves across the ten oceans.

To lead the war machine.

To rule the waves and lead the Weltenmarine.

The terror of the oceans.

The Koester and the Weltenmarine.

Both Kaiser Frederick Super Aircraft Carrier and Koester Super Battleship use nuclear reactors with the type of pressurized water reactors. These nuclear reactors give Kaiser Frederick and Koester unlimited operational range. Both are special ships against the mighty Angles Empire Royal Navy, the rival of Weltenmarine. Even though Kaiser Frederick and Koester were more advanced and mighty than Angles Empire Super Dreadnought and Aircraft Carrier, Weltenkraft Reich only had a limited number of Kaiser Frederick and Koester. To overcome this, they must upgrade the radar and missile-guided systems and produce more Ship-Ship Missiles (SSM).

Zerstörer-class missile destroyers become the backbone of Weltenmarine against Submarine with their guided torpedoes and against bigger ships through guided-SSM. He resembles the German destroyer Lütjens but a bit bigger, 134 m in length, 15 m in beam, and 7 m in draft. His main armament is 2 x 12,8 cm multipurpose cannon, 1 x Fritz SSM, 6 x Hai guided torpedos, and 1 x Fliegende Fische anti-submarine Missiles. The secondary armament is 2 x Blitz CIWS and 2 x Feuerlilie SAM. Unlike Kaiser Frederick and Koester, which use nuclear reactors, Zerstörer still uses diesel engines, so he needs to refuel and have limited range.

Prinz Wilhelm-class missile cruisers became the backbone of Weltenmarine screening ships alongside Zerstörer-class missile destroyers. He resembles a Deutschland-class cruiser but bigger, 190 in length, 22 in beam, and 9 in draft. His main armament is 2 x 12,8 cm multipurpose cannon, 3 x Fritz SSM, 4 x Feuerlilie SAM, and 3 x Hai guided torpedos. The secondary armament is 2 x Blitz CIWS and 2 x Feuerlilie SAM. Like Zerstörer-class missile destroyers, Prinz Wilhelm uses diesel engines, so he needs to refuel and have limited range.

Figure 4. The art style of WMS Prinz Wilhelm-Class Missiles Cruisers (Resembles Deutschland-class cruiser) [4]

Koester, Kaiser Frederick, Prinz Wilhelm, and Zerstörer only escorted the cargo ships from Weltenkraft Reich to Pampoi City for this mission. To prevent being detected and intercepted by the United States of Amarilon and the People's Republic of Uroslav, they avoided the central part of the central ocean. Before entering the Fortisregnum Empire water area, the Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force will stop by Imperio Estelar port to reload food and fresh water for the crews and refuel for missile destroyers and missile cruisers. Cargo ships will continue to the Pampoi City, while Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force returns to the Weltenkraft Reich.

"Admiral Lütjens, what do you think about Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force? Could he defeat the ships from the United Terran?" Anton asked Admiral Anton about the possibility of the Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force defeating United Terran ships while he gave a picture of an Aircraft Carrier.

"This is the ship from the United Terran? From this photo, I assume this Aircraft Carrier has a length of more than 350 m and a beam of more than 80 m. This ship is more significant than Kaiser Frederick and United States of Amarilon Aircraft Carriers. I do not know if we can defeat this ship. However, why is he alone? Where is his escort?" Admiral Otto feels strange while looking at the photos because the United Terran aircraft carrier is alone without his escort.

For this information, people in Weltenkraft Reich called ships to pronounce He/His, not She/Her, because they thought the mighty ships became the symbol of masculinity.

"Senator Brutus said they only saw this massive aircraft carrier alone without an escort. We did not have information from our intelligence in the Fortisregnum Empire. We assume the United Terran counterintelligence already captured them. However, why let Senator Brutus disclose their aircraft carrier while they capture our intelligence." Anton said.

"If they successfully captured our intelligence, there is a possibility our information about weapons, ships, and vehicles will also disclosed to them by our captured agents. I assume they also have massive offense and defense weapons if they could construct this massive Aircraft Carrier. Look at their VLS and CIWS; they have a strange form of VLS and CIWS, unlike us, the People's Republic of Uroslav and the United States of Amarilon. I feel threatened while looking at this aircraft carrier. I hope we do not fight them soon because we need advanced strategy and tactics. How about their aircraft?" Admiral Otto feels threatened if he must fight this aircraft carrier.

"Fortunately, a sailor from Fortisregnum Empire Navy successfully drew one of their aircraft on the aircraft deck. He then drew much of this picture, calling it the "United Terran metal dragon." Here is the look of United Terran aircraft." Anton gave the picture of the F-95C to Admiral Otto.

"Oh my God, they already have stealth fighters? This information is not good for us." Admiral Otto said this while looking at the aircraft's design in the picture.

"Stealth fighters? Do you mean the prototype fighter that we are currently developing? If they have stealth fighters, they are similar to the United States of Amarilon. Even the People's Republic of Uroslav is still testing their new stealth fighters". Anton was surprised that the United Terran is similar to the United States of Amarilon because they have stealth fighters.

"Anton, you only send our outdated fighters to fight against this stealth fighter? Even our latest fighters are still no match against stealth fighters. They are capable of jamming our radar and undetected in our radar. You will lose if you fight against this Nation." Admiral Otto comments and warns Anton about the Black Shadow mission in the Fortisregnum Empire coup.

"Rest assured, Admiral Lütjens. Even though the United Terran is similar to the United States of Amarilon, they already have a policy not to interfere with Fortisregnum Empire authority and internal affairs. As long we do not threaten their people, they will not have a reason to fight against us." Anton said that they would not threaten the United Terran people to prevent retaliation from the United Terran.

"Even if you succeed or fail in your Black Shadow missions, do not drag Weltenkraft Reich against this new hyperpower nation. Our national mission is to defeat the Angles Empire, not to threaten a nation similar to the United States of Amarilon. Do not threaten this Nation, do you understand?" Admiral Otto warns Anton not to drag Weltenkraft Reich into useless conflict with the United Terran.

"All right, Admiral Lütjens. I understand. I will report this information to Mr. 0 and Senator Brutus." Anton Responds.

"I must report this information to the Führer and Grossadmiral Karl Raeder. We must prepare new strategies and tactics against this new hyperpower nation. We do not have a reason to conflict with this new Nation." Admiral Otto's comment and will tell the information to the Führer and Grossadmiral.

"Mr. Skorzeny, did they have battleships?" Captain Hans Lindemann asked Anton about the possibility of United Terran having battleships.

"I do not know, Captain Lindemann. If they have battleships, we assume they will have battleships similar to or more significant than WMS Koester based on the size of their aircraft carrier." Anton responds.

"It's Impossible. How does United Terran have bigger ships than Koester, the largest battleships in the world?" Captain Hans is surprised that United Terran may have more battleships than Koester, his proud and mighty battleships.

"If they have naval doctrine similar to the United States of Amarilon that focuses on Aircraft Carriers, I think they will not have Battleships. However, if they had battleships, they would have bigger battleships than Koester. For the future strategy, we must not underestimate this Nation and think they have bigger battleships than us." Admiral Otto's response.

Three of them consider possibly fighting against the United Terran in the future. One inevitable outcome is that they will suffer catastrophic defeat if they threaten and fight the United Terran soon because the United Terran has more advanced technology than them.

This information will make Anton's mission more complex and deadly because the advanced technology of United Terran is similar to that of the United States of Amarilon.

Suddenly, Koester's alarm rings and the ship announcer informs the crew that several sea beast monsters are approaching the fleet.

"Achtung, Achtung. Multiple sea beasts were detected approaching our position. Prepare for defensive maneuvers and standby for further instructions." The ship announcer informs about the incoming sea beast.

As the alarm continues to echo through the metallic corridors of the mighty Koester, the crew members of the Kaiser Frederick carrier task force spring into action. The sudden threat of sea beasts interrupts their strategic contemplations. The once steady hum of operations now merges with a palpable tension as the task force prepares for an unexpected confrontation. Krakens, megalodons, leviathan giant whales, and sea lizards approach the fleet.

On the Koester bridge, Captain Hans Lindemann stands resolute, his eyes scanning the horizon through the reinforced glass: "Prepare all gun batteries! Prepare the 21-inch main guns for firing!" Captain Hans ordered the Koester Crew.

Below deck, the gun crews scramble to load the massive shells, each action precise and practiced. This choreography of military efficiency is honed through relentless drills. The mechanical whir of the loading mechanisms syncs with the crew's rising adrenaline.

Aboard the Prinz Wilhelm, the atmosphere is equally charged. Captain Friedrich Weiss issues commands with a calm urgency, "Targeting officers, lock onto the approaching sea beasts with our Fritz AShM. Make each shot count!"

Technicians adjust the missile systems, aligning the high-speed anti-ship missiles with the incoming threats. The displays in Prinz Wilhelm's bridge room flicker with targeting data, calculating the optimal trajectories for interception.

Meanwhile, on the Zerstörer, Captain Karl Müller oversees the torpedo preparations. "Load the Hai-guided torpedoes! Focus on any submerged threats. We need to keep them from getting too close," Captain Karl orders Zerstörer's crew.

The sleek torpedoes, each equipped with advanced guidance systems, are carefully loaded into their tubes. The crew members operate with silent efficiency, each aware of the deadly stakes.

Back on the Koester, Admiral Otto Lütjens and Anton Skorzeny watch the preparations unfold with a steely gaze. "These sea beasts could be a test of our readiness. How we handle this will reflect our preparedness against the United Terran's superior technology."

Anton nods, his mind racing with the implications of their encounter with the sea beasts and the looming technological shadow of the United Terran. "We must use this to test our systems under real combat conditions, Admiral. It's not just about survival now, but about learning and adapting."

As the sea beasts draw nearer, their massive forms cutting through the ocean waves, the Koester's main guns swivel into position. With a command from Captain Lindemann, the first of the 21-inch guns roar to life, unleashing a deafening boom as it fires a high-explosive shell toward the nearest beast.

Simultaneously, the Prinz Wilhelm launches a salvo of Fritz AShM, the missiles streaking across the sky with fiery tails, homing in on their gigantic targets. With the precision of the best Weltenmarine engineering on full display, each missile seeks to deliver a critical blow.

On the Zerstörer, the Hai torpedoes make their deadly descent into the depths, their sonar systems pinging quietly as they seek out the submerged parts of the sea beasts, aiming to neutralize any threats lurking beneath the waves.

As the munitions find their marks, explosions of water and fire light up the ocean, the impacts a testament to the destructive capabilities of the Kaiser Frederick carrier task force. The crew members hold their breaths, waiting to see the effectiveness of their firepower against these monstrous adversaries.

"Report!" demands Admiral Lütjens, his voice cutting through the commotion.

"Direct hits on two beasts, Admiral! Assessing the damage now. Other units are still engaging," reports a tactical officer, his eyes glued to the radar screen.

"Keep firing until they retreat or are neutralized. We cannot afford any breaches in our defensive line," commands the Admiral, turning to Anton. "Let's hope our weapons are as effective as we believe. And let this be a lesson in the unpredictability of real-world engagements."

As the battle rages, each explosion and maneuver reaffirms the capability and resolve of the Kaiser Frederick carrier task force, even as the shadow of future challenges looms ominously.

As the sea beasts press their attack, the intense atmosphere on the bridge of the Koester thickens further. Captain Hans Lindemann, his jaw set and eyes narrow with focus, oversees the operation with unyielding resolve. "Fire another salvo! Target the largest beast directly ahead!" he commands, the authority in his voice unmistakable. Captain Hans ordered to shoot another salvo.

Below deck, the gun crews respond with alacrity, loading the massive 21-inch shells into the breeches. With practiced precision, the Koester's guns thunder again, sending another round of high-explosive shells slicing through the air towards the monstrous creatures.

On the Prinz Wilhelm, Captain Friedrich Weiss remains equally engaged. "Launch another set of Fritz AShM! Aim for the clusters!" he orders sharply. The missile systems respond, and a series of missiles burst forth, tracing arcs of destruction across the sky toward their targets. The bridge crew watches the trajectory screens, hopeful each missile finds its mark.

Meanwhile, on the Zerstörer, Captain Karl Müller continues his calculated assault on the underwater threats. "Deploy additional Hai-guided torpedoes! Focus on the deeper signatures!" he instructs. The sleek and deadly torpedoes plunge into the ocean, their paths corrected by real-time sonar data to track the submerged parts of the sea beasts.

Amidst the chaos, Admiral Otto Lütjens stands with Anton Skorzeny, observing the coordinated attacks. "These creatures are more resilient than anticipated," Lütjens remarks, his tone betraying a hint of admiration for the formidable adversaries. Our response must be equally relentless. Continue the barrage!" Admiral Otto orders his fleet commander to annihilate the sea beast.

Anton, though visibly impressed by Weltenmarine's display of military might, appears contemplative. "Admiral, these beasts provide a harsh but necessary test of our capabilities," he says. Our encounters with the United Terran will demand more than this level of coordination and firepower. They have more threat than this mere sea beast," Anton responds to the real threat from the United Terran.

The sea beasts, though formidable, begin to show signs of distress under the relentless assault. The water around them churns violently with the impacts of explosives and torpedoes. Some attempt to dive deeper, seeking refuge from the onslaught, but the sophisticated tracking systems of the Weltenmarine deny them escape.

"Direct hit on the largest beast!" shouts a tactical officer from the Koester. The beast thrashes wildly as the shell impacts, a vivid plume of water erupting around it. "It is retreating, sir, but still active!" The officer reports about the retreating of the giant sea lizard, the largest sea beast.

"Maintain pressure! All units, keep up the fire!" Lindemann orders, his voice echoing through the command center.

The battle continues, a testament to the raw power of the Kaiser Frederick carrier task force. As the sea beasts gradually withdraw, beaten back by the unyielding firepower, a sense of tentative victory begins to permeate the air, mixed with the relief of survival and the sobering reality of the dangers that lie beyond.

Amidst the chaotic battle symphony, Admiral Otto Lütjens turns to his commanders, his expression stern and resolute. The escalating conflict with the sea beasts serves as a defense and a critical exercise in coordination and power projection. "Commanders, This confrontation is not just about repelling these beasts. Consider this a full-scale drill. We must demonstrate our capabilities to manage and defeat natural threats and technological superpowers like the Angels Empire Royal Navy and the United Terran Navy." Admiral Otto addressed the leaders of the Kaiser Frederick carrier task force to use this real battle experience as training to prepare against stronger nations and their rival, the Angles Empire.

The Admiral's voice carries a weight that underscores the gravity of their situation. "We must use this encounter to measure our strategic and tactical acumen. Our response here will reflect our readiness to face the hyperpowers. Increase the barrage, leave no room for error. Show them the might of Weltenmarine!" Admiral Otto ordered to show the power of Weltenmarine to annihilate the sea beast.

On the Koester's bridge, Captain Hans Lindemann nods in firm agreement, his focus unwavering. "All batteries, prepare for a continuous volley! Target the retreating sea beasts with maximum firepower. We will use this to refine our targeting and response systems." Captain Hans ordered his Koester crews.

As the orders ripple through the fleet, the air is thick with determination. On the Zerstörer, Captain Karl Müller oversees the deployment of additional Hai-guided torpedoes, aiming to exploit the chaos among the sea beasts for a conclusive strike. "Adjust targeting parameters based on the latest movement patterns. We must annihilate the submergence sea beast." Admiral Karl instructs his crew, who work diligently to recalibrate the systems and annihilate the submerged sea beasts.

Back on the Prinz Wilhelm, Captain Friedrich Weiss commands the missile crews precisely. "Fire another volley of Fritz AShM at the clusters! Each hit must be a lesson in our offensive capability," he declares, the urgency of his command palpable.

Each vessel in the task force acts as a cog in a well-oiled machine, demonstrating the prowess and deadly efficiency of Weltenmarine's naval power. The continuous barrage of shells and missiles creates a spectacle of explosive might on the ocean's surface, a testament to their unyielding resolve.

As the battle unfolds, Anton Skorzeny stands beside Admiral Otto, observing the effectiveness of their fleet. "Admiral, while we're proving effective against these beasts, how do you assess our readiness against a fleet equipped with cutting-edge technology like the United Terran?" Anton's question cuts to the core of their concerns.

Admiral Otto Lütjens responds thoughtfully, his gaze fixed on the unfolding battle: "Our weaponry and systems are formidable, but facing an advanced fleet will require strength, cunning, and adaptability. We must consider enhancing our electronic warfare and countermeasures. It is not enough to match them in firepower; we must outsmart them at every turn." Admiral Otto will do what he can to fight against advanced navy powers such as the United Terran Navy.

The Admiral's strategic insight highlights the necessity for continual adaptation and improvement. "After this exercise, I want a full report on all system performances. We must push for advancements in our missile guidance systems and improve our electronic defenses. Every encounter with sea beasts or enemy ships provides invaluable data for our path forward."

As the battle draws close, with the sea beasts finally retreating into the depths, a mixed sense of victory and the looming challenge fills the air. The crew members, though relieved, understand that the true test lies ahead.

Admiral Lütjens takes a moment to address the crew over the intercom. "Well done to all hands. Today, we have not only defended our task force but have also honed our combat readiness. Let this victory remind us of our strength and our need to remain vigilant. We stand on the precipice of future conflicts with formidable foes and must be prepared. We will continue to refine our strategies and enhance our capabilities. For now, let's secure the area and maintain a high state of readiness."

As battle adrenaline wanes, strategic discussions about future engagements with hyperpowers like the United Terran and the Angels Empire Royal Navy take on a new urgency. The Kaiser Frederick carrier task force, having displayed its might against nature's behemoths, now turns its focus to the looming technological giants of the modern age, ready to evolve and adapt in the face of any threat.

Unknown to them, the Kaiser Frederick Carrier Task Force action was already monitored by one of the United Terran satellites.

"Oh my, this Nazi-similar Nation has more giant ships than the actual Nazi. Does this Nation, the alternative version of the Nazi, win the world war? I hope they will not persecute people like my people in World War II. I must report this to the high officer." Captain Leopold Komorowski is a satellite officer and data engineer for United Terran.

Captain Leopold Komorowski then reported the surveillance data about the massive ships with Weltenkraft Reich approaching the Fortisregnum Empire based on the estimation trajectory. The Aircraft Carrier resembled Nimitz Class, and the battleship resembled Bismarck with steroids, causing the Navy and UT ISIA to uproar because they would head to Fortisregnum Empire.

Fortunately, before entering the Fortisregnum Empire water area, they returned while the cargo ships continued sailing to the Fortisregnum Empire. If they still enter and threaten the people and infrastructure of United Terran in Fortisregnum Empire, plasma high hypersonic speed Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) will be launched to annihilate this fleet to prevent the leakage of advanced United Terran facilities in the new dockyard.

From the satellite data, United Terran could know the capability and power of the Weltenkraft Reich Navy and aircraft. This data will be used to train Maximus and his legions against the incoming civil war.

Secret Special Training Facilities, United Terran, 23 March 2141/ 17 Martius 1841, 09:00 am

Maximus and his legions had already finished their special training with modernized weapons, vehicles, and aircraft. From one hundred and one legionnaires, they already split into Standard infantry team, Sniper team, Field Artillery team, Anti-air artillery team, Main Battle Tank (MBT) team, Self Propelled Gun (SPG) team, Self Propelled Anti-Air (SPAA) team, Reconnaissance team, and Aircraft team. Each team member is responsible for training the other legionnaires in the Fortisregnum Empire for the upcoming Civil War ignited by Senator Brutus and the Black Shadow Mercenary Company.

Maximus and his legionnaire's team know the information through Colonel Robert Lee Ermey, the Person in Charge (PIC) for Fortisregnum Empire special training. This day is the final briefing before they return to Fortisregnum Empire for the next three days. Colonel Ermey tells them about possibly using Senator Brutus and Black Shadow during the coup. Information is the key to winning the battle. Maximus and his legions could create effective strategies and tactics based on the enemy's power with good information. During the special training, they learn about the Art of War book from Sun Tzu.

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle" (Sun Tzu).

Colonel Ermey presents possible weapons from the People's Republic of Uroslav (PRU), Weltenkraft Reich, and Imperio Estelar to know the enemy's power. However, Colonel Ermy did not have information about Imperio Estelar's magic weapons and Tianlong Empire cultivators. To learn about cultivators from the Tianlong Empire, they tried to learn them via Chinese Wuxia and Jianghu literature. During the next two days, Maximus and his legionnaires will use it to simulate all the possible weapons from the enemy.

First, they learn about muskets and cannons from Imperio Estelar. The differences between real life and Imperio Estelar muskets and cannons are the source of weapons. In real life, we used gunpowder, but in Imperio Estelar, they used magic powder. For example, Colonel Ermey explains the Springfield Model 1861 for muskets and the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon for cannons. Fortunately, United Terran had several Springfield Model 1861 and Model 1857 twelve-pound cannons that survived WWIII so that they could see the strengths and weaknesses of these weapons.

Colonel Ermey continues his briefing, gesturing towards a large display screen showing detailed schematics of the Springfield Model 1861 and the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannons.

"The Springfield Model 1861 musket," Colonel Ermey begins, pointing to the image on the screen, "is a muzzle-loading percussion lock rifle musket used primarily by Union soldiers during the American Civil War, nearly three hundred years ago. It has a rifled barrel, which gives it better accuracy compared to smoothbore muskets of the time. This weapon is effective at medium ranges, and its firepower can decimate light infantry formations if used correctly."

He pauses briefly before shifting his focus to the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon. "The Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon," he continues, "is a smoothbore cannon widely used by Union and Confederate forces during the Civil War. It fires a twelve-pound projectile and is primarily used for artillery bombardment against enemy fortifications and infantry positions. It is versatility and destructive power make it a formidable weapon on the battlefield."

Colonel Ermey then proceeds to outline the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon.

"The strengths of the Springfield Model 1861 include its accuracy at medium ranges, reliability, and relatively fast rate of fire compared to older musket designs. It can deliver devastating volleys against enemy infantry, especially when deployed in large numbers."

"However," he continues, "the Springfield Model 1861 has some notable weaknesses. Its muzzle-loading design means it takes time to reload after each shot, leaving soldiers vulnerable to enemy fire. Additionally, its effective range is limited compared to modern firearms, making it less suitable for long-range engagements."

Colonel Ermey explains, "As for the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon, its strengths lie in its destructive power and versatility. It can fire various projectiles, including solid shots, shells, and canisters, effectively engaging enemy fortifications and infantry."

"Nevertheless," he adds, "the Model 1857 also has weaknesses. Its relatively slow rate of fire and cumbersome size make it less maneuverable on the battlefield. Additionally, its effectiveness can be reduced by adverse weather conditions or terrain obstacles."

Colonel Ermey then concludes the briefing by outlining potential strategies for defeating these weapons on the battlefield. "To counter the Springfield Model 1861 musket," he suggests, "utilize cover and concealment to minimize exposure to enemy fire during reloads. Flanking maneuvers and coordinated assaults can also disrupt enemy formations and neutralize their firepower."

"As for the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon," he continues, "target their crews and ammunition stores to disable or destroy the cannons. Utilize terrain features to provide cover and concealment for advancing troops, and coordinate artillery and infantry attacks to overwhelm enemy positions."

"Remember," Colonel Ermey emphasizes, "knowledge of the enemy's weapons and tactics is crucial for victory on the battlefield. By understanding their strengths and weaknesses, we can develop effective strategies to defeat them and achieve our objectives."

Considering Maximus and his legions' new modernized weaponry, Colonel Ermey adjusts his strategy and tactics for countering the Springfield Model 1861 musket and the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon.

"To counter the Springfield Model 1861 musket," Colonel Ermey begins, "You must leverage the advantages of your modernized weaponry. The STG-44, Gewehr 43, and MP40 can deliver rapid and accurate fire at extended ranges compared to the musket. Utilize these weapons' superior range and firepower to engage enemy infantry from a distance, minimizing our exposure to their volleys. Usually, infantry with muskets will fight with line formation, so you must take cover and ensure to position the outrange of the musket's effective range. However, because Imperio Estelar's magic muskets use magic powders, we can not estimate the real power of those weapons. We assume those magic weapons are more powerful than gunpowder muskets, so be careful." Colonel Ermey explains.

He gestures towards the Panther II tank displayed on a nearby screen. "Additionally, your Panther II tanks provide us with armored protection and firepower unmatched by the musket. Deploy them strategically to provide mobile fire support and suppress enemy infantry positions. The Panther II's capabilities, similar to the 21st-century MBT, allow us to dominate the battlefield and force the enemy to reevaluate their tactics."

Colonel Ermey then shifts his focus to the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon. "To neutralize the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon," he continues, "you must utilize our combined arms capabilities effectively. Coordinate airstrikes with your aircraft Me 262M team to target enemy artillery positions and disrupt their firing. The precision and firepower of your modern aircraft can effectively neutralize enemy cannons from a safe distance. You could send a sniper team to neutralize the artillery crew with precise accuracy. If you know the exact location of the enemy magic cannons through drone surveillance, you could bombard them with M777 Howitzers or Pz 2000."

"Furthermore," he adds, "If you utilize blitz warfare, you could use your Panther II tanks to maneuver around enemy artillery positions and engage them at close range. Their advanced armor and firepower make them ideal for engaging enemy cannons while minimizing the risk to your infantry forces."

Colonel Ermey emphasizes the importance of coordination and adaptability on the battlefield. "Remember," he says, "your strength lies in effectively leveraging your modernized weaponry and combined arms capabilities. By coordinating your efforts and exploiting the weaknesses of the enemy's weapons, you can achieve victory on the battlefield and secure your objectives."

With Colonel Ermey's guidance, Maximus and his legions refined their strategies and tactics, ready to confront the enemy forces armed with the Springfield Model 1861 musket and the Model 1857 twelve-pound cannon in the coming civil war.

Colonel Ermey adjusts his briefing to address the potential threat posed by Weltenkraft Reich's weaponry in incoming civil war, drawing from his extensive knowledge of historical and modern military equipment. He stands before the assembled legionnaires, his demeanor serious as he prepares to analyze these new adversaries.

"Legionnaires," Colonel Ermey begins, his voice firm and commanding, "we must now turn our attention to the arsenal likely to be wielded by the forces of Weltenkraft Reich. Given their historical roots and technological advancements, it is reasonable to expect them to deploy weapons reminiscent of those utilized by Germany during the Cold War era."

He gestures towards the large display screen, showcasing detailed schematics and images of the H&K G3 assault rifle, MG3 machine gun, and Leopard 1 main battle tank.

"The H&K G3 assault rifle," Colonel Ermey explains, pointing to the image on the screen, "is a battle-proven firearm known for its reliability and robust construction. Chambered in the powerful 7.62x51mm NATO round, it offers excellent stopping power and penetration capabilities. The G3 is capable of both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire, providing versatility in various combat scenarios." Colonel Ermey explained the capabilities of H&K G3

Moving on to the MG3 machine gun, he continues, "The MG3 is a modernized iteration of the iconic MG 42, infamous for its high rate of fire and formidable firepower. With a cyclic rate of around 1,200 rounds per minute, it can lay down a devastating hail of bullets, making it a formidable weapon for suppressing enemy forces and defending key positions. This gun resembles your modern MG, so you already know about these machine guns." Colonel Ermey explained about MG3.

Colonel Ermey then directs the legionnaires' attention to the Leopard 1 main battle tank. "The Leopard 1," he says, "represents the pinnacle of armored warfare technology for the West Germans during the Cold War. We assume Weltenkraft Reich will use and send this tank to assist Senator Brutus in the incoming civil war. Its powerful 105mm main gun, advanced fire control systems, and relatively high mobility pose a significant threat on the battlefield. While it may lack the advanced armor protection of more modern tanks, its speed and firepower make it a formidable adversary."

Having outlined the strengths of Weltenkraft Reich's weaponry, Colonel Ermey discusses their weaknesses.

"The H&K G3, while a reliable and powerful rifle, does have its limitations," he explains. "Its recoil can be significant, especially in fully automatic mode, affecting its accuracy during sustained fire. Additionally, its weight and size may hinder maneuverability in close-quarters combat situations."

"As for the MG3," he continues, "while its high rate of fire is undoubtedly advantageous, it also leads to rapid ammunition expenditure and increased barrel wear. This action can necessitate frequent barrel changes, potentially leaving the gun temporarily out of action during critical moments. Unlike your modernized MG 42, which has already reduced the rate of fire to sustain the ammunition and the firing control,"

"Finally, the Leopard 1 main battle tank," Colonel Ermey says, "while a formidable adversary is not without vulnerabilities. While adequate against most threats of its time, its armor protection may struggle against modern anti-tank munitions and advanced armor-piercing rounds. Additionally, its limited ammunition storage and lack of advanced defensive systems may leave it vulnerable to sustained enemy fire."

With a final glance at the assembled legionnaires, Colonel Ermey emphasizes the importance of understanding the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy's weaponry.

"In the face of Weltenkraft Reich's arsenal," he concludes, "we must leverage your strengths and exploit their weaknesses to emerge victorious on the battlefield. By employing superior tactics, coordination, and adaptability, we can overcome any enemy challenge and secure victory for the Fortisregnum Empire."

Colonel Ermey pauses momentarily, allowing the information to sink in before proceeding with his analysis and proposed tactics against the H&K G3 assault rifle, MG3 machine gun, and Leopard 1 main battle tank.

"For the H&K G3 assault rifle, you must acknowledge that both sides possess similar capabilities with your modernized STG 44 rifles chambered in the 7.62 x 51 mm NATO round. Engagement with enemy infantry armed with G3 rifles will require careful consideration and tactics. Given the similarity in firepower and range, traditional infantry tactics such as utilizing cover from around the area and Flanking maneuvers will reduce the possibility of getting hit by the enemy. Coordination attack and suppressive fire will be crucial in neutralizing enemy infantry armed with the G3." Colonel Ermey explains the tactics against H&K G3

"Additionally, it is important to leverage the advantages of your modernized weaponry, such as the STG 44 and MP40, to engage enemy forces effectively. MP40 can be used in short-quarter combat, but you will be disadvantaged against G3 users in the longer range. You could utilize the effective range of Gewehr 43 as a designated marksman rifle (DMR) to shoot the enemy. However, you must exercise caution and maintain situational awareness, as engagements with enemy infantry wielding the G3 may result in fierce and evenly matched confrontations." Colonel Ermey explains the tactics using another modernized weapon.

Turning his attention to the MG3 machine gun, Colonel Ermey emphasizes the importance of exploiting the differences between the MG3 and their modernized MG42.

"While the MG3 shares similarities with your modernized MG 42 in terms of firepower and versatility," he explains, "your MG 42's slower rate of fire provides you with increased firing control and accuracy, giving you an edge in sustained engagements. Therefore, you must capitalize on this advantage by employing disciplined fire control and precise target selection when engaging enemy positions fortified with MG3 machine guns." Colonel Ermey explains the advantage of Maximus and his legion's modernized MG42 against standard MG3 users.

"Utilizing suppressive fire and maneuver tactics, precision strikes from sniper teams, and coordinated assaults will enable you to neutralize enemy MG3 positions effectively while minimizing casualties. If your team carried a grenade launcher and Panzerfaust 3, you could use these explosives to destroy enemy machinegun nest." Colonel Ermey explain the tactics against MG3 with coordination and explosive weapons

Lastly, Colonel Ermey addresses the threat posed by the Leopard 1 main battle tank. Despite its formidable capabilities, he underscores the superiority of their own Panther II tanks regarding firepower and armor protection.

"While the Leopard 1 may pose a significant threat on the battlefield, your Panther II tanks equipped with 130 mm Rheinmetall smoothbore cannons and specifications similar to the Leopard 2A7 provide you with a distinct advantage in armored warfare. Leveraging the superior firepower and advanced armor protection of our Panther II tanks, you can engage and neutralize enemy Leopard 1 tanks with confidence. Panther II tanks also utilized an active protection system (APS) to defend against enemy anti-tank weapons. So, you can defend your Panther II tanks from enemy threats. However, there is no perfect system. Try maintaining long-range and destroying the enemy through your advanced calculation shoot with your cannon." Colonel Ermey explains the superiority of the Panther II tank to enemy MBT, resembling Leopard 1.

"Employing coordinated tank maneuvers, utilizing terrain to your advantage, and coordinating airstrikes from the aircraft team will allow you to effectively engage and defeat enemy Leopard 1 tanks while minimizing your vulnerabilities." Colonel Ermey advised about the coordination with the Air Force to minimize the possible casualties.

Colonel Ermey concludes his briefing with a resolute tone, reinforcing the importance of understanding and exploiting the weaknesses of the enemy's weaponry.

"In the face of the threats posed by the H&K G3 assault rifle, MG3 machine gun, and Leopard 1 main battle tank, your strength lies in your adaptability, coordination, and superior firepower. By implementing these tactics and strategies, you will emerge victorious on the battlefield and secure victory for the Fortisregnum Empire."

With Colonel Ermey's comprehensive analysis and proposed tactics, Maximus and his legions are well-prepared to confront the enemy forces armed with Weltenkraft Reich's land weaponry in the impending civil war.

Colonel Ermey shifts his focus to the potential threat posed by Weltenkraft Reich's aerial assets, emphasizing the importance of understanding the strengths and weaknesses of these aircraft.

"Legionnaires, you must now address the possibility of Weltenkraft Reich sending and deploying their air force to support Senator Brutus and their ground troops. Among the aircraft they may deploy are the Panavia Tornado, FW 190, and Ju 87 CAS, each with unique capabilities and vulnerabilities. Several days ago, our radar detected that an enemy aircraft carrier carrying jet fighters resembling Panavia Tornado escorted cargo ships to Fortisregnum Empire. We assume these jet fighters will be the enemy of you. They may also send monoplanes so that we will inform you about enemy monoplane capability." Colonel Ermey explained the possibility of Weltenkraft Reich sending their aircraft to Senator Brutus.

He directs the legionnaires' attention to the large display screen, which now showcases detailed schematics and images of each aircraft.

"The Panavia Tornado," Colonel Ermey explains, pointing to the image on the screen, "is a multirole combat aircraft known for its versatility and adaptability. It can perform various missions, including air superiority, ground attack, and reconnaissance. With its modern avionics and weapons systems in the Cold War era, the Tornado poses a significant threat to your ground forces, especially if utilized in a ground attack role."

"However, the Tornado's strengths must not blind us to its weaknesses. Despite its versatility, it is not without vulnerabilities. Its size and relatively slower speed than more modern aircraft make it susceptible to interception by your advanced jet fighter aircraft, Me 262M, resembling the capability of the Eurofighter Typhoon. Additionally, its aging airframe may limit its maneuverability and overall combat effectiveness." Colonel Ermey explains

Colonel Ermey then shifted his focus to the FW 190, a formidable fighter aircraft utilized by the Luftwaffe during World War II.

"The FW 190 was renowned for its agility and firepower during World War II. Its powerful engine and heavy armament made it a formidable adversary in aerial combat. If Weltenkraft Reich chooses to deploy these aircraft, they could significantly threaten your air superiority if you did not deploy your Me 262M jet fighters." Colonel Ermey explains about FW 190

"However, despite its historical prowess, the FW 190 is outdated compared to your modern fighter jets, Me 262M. Its lack of advanced avionics and weapon systems may render it vulnerable to interception and neutralization by your more technologically advanced aircraft. You could use advanced long-range AAM or dogfight with your 30 mm Gau-8/a cannon."

Lastly, Colonel Ermey addresses the possibility of Weltenkraft Reich deploying the Ju 87 Close Air Support (CAS), commonly known as the Stuka dive bomber, infamous for its role in blitzkrieg tactics during World War II.

"The Ju 87 CAS is a specialized ground attack aircraft designed for precision strikes against enemy ground targets. Its distinctive dive-bombing capabilities and potent armament can wreak havoc on our ground forces if left unchecked." Colonel Ermey explains about Ju 87 Stuka

"However, like the FW 190, the Ju 87 Stuka is a relic of a bygone era. Its slow speed and lack of maneuverability make it vulnerable to interception by your jet fighter aircraft or ground-based air defense systems. Its reliance on dive-bombing tactics also makes it susceptible to modern anti-aircraft artillery and surface-to-air missiles." Colonel Ermey explains the superiority of Maximus and his legionnaire's jet fighter, Me 262M, against the monoplane aircraft.

Having outlined the strengths and weaknesses of Weltenkraft Reich's aircraft, Colonel Ermey stresses the importance of air superiority and the need for coordination between ground and air forces to neutralize the enemy threat.

"In the face of the potential deployment of Panavia Tornado jets, FW 190 fighters, and Ju 87 Stuka as CAS dive bombers, you must maintain air superiority at all costs. By leveraging your advanced modern jet fighter aircraft, air defense systems, and effective coordination between ground and air forces, we can neutralize the enemy threat and ensure victory for the Fortisregnum Empire."

Colonel Ermey continues his briefing, emphasizing the strategic importance of utilizing their Me 262M jet fighters to achieve air superiority.

"Legionnaires, your Me 262M jet fighters represent the pinnacle of your aerial capabilities. With their advanced avionics, powerful engines, and formidable armament, they are more than capable of dominating the skies against the enemy aircraft sent by Weltenkraft Reich," Colonel Ermey declares, his tone resolute.

"Deploying your Me 262M squadron, you must prioritize gaining and maintaining air superiority over the battlefield. Your primary objective is to shoot down enemy aircraft, particularly the Panavia Tornado jets, FW 190 fighters, and Ju 87 Stuka dive bombers. Utilizing our newly constructed advanced radar systems in Aeterna City, you will track enemy movements and intercept them before they threaten your ground forces," he continues, stressing the importance of intelligence and surveillance.

Colonel Ermey then discusses the tactics for engaging enemy aircraft once air superiority has been established.

"Once air superiority is secured, you can employ your Me 262M fighters in ground attack missions using air-to-surface missiles (ASM), and strafing runs with your 30mm GAU cannons," he explains, outlining the versatility of their jet fighters.

"However, you must remain vigilant for enemy anti-aircraft defenses, as the enemy may attempt to counter your aerial dominance with ground-based anti-aircraft guns."

In anticipation of enemy aircraft threats, Colonel Ermey advises deploying their Flakpanzer Gepard and 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft guns.

"To protect against enemy aircraft and provide additional air defense coverage, you will deploy your Flakpanzer Gepard and 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft guns. Make sure to position strategically around your ground forces, and these systems will serve as a formidable deterrent against enemy air attacks, especially those resembling the Panavia Tornado, FW 190, and Ju 87 Stuka," Colonel Ermey elaborates, highlighting the importance of integrated air defense systems.

Furthermore, he underscores the role of these anti-aircraft assets in protecting the ground troops from enemy aircraft and ground threats.

"While primarily tasked with defending against aerial threats, your Flakpanzer Gepard and 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft guns can also be utilized to engage enemy ground troops. With their rapid-firing cannons and advanced targeting systems, they can effectively neutralize enemy infantry and armored units, providing additional support to your ground forces," Colonel Ermey states, emphasizing the versatility of their anti-aircraft defenses.

Colonel Ermey concludes his briefing about Weltenkraft Reich weaponry with a final rallying cry, urging his legionnaires to remain vigilant and steadfast in the face of the impending conflict.

Next, Colonel Ermey will explain potential weapons from the People's Republic of Uroslav that will be sent to Senator Brutus and the Slavery faction. Based on intelligence data, they will send infantry weapons similar to Soviet Cold War weapons, such as Avtomat Simonova 74 (AS-74) assault rifles, Snayperskaya Vintovka Konstantinova (SVK) sniper rifles, Ruchnoy Pulemyot Sudayeva (RPS) machine guns, Strela-90 MANPADS, and Mukha-99 MANPATS.

United Terran International Special Forces (UT ISF) assumes the AS-74 resembles the AK-74 assault rifle, SVK resembles the SVD Dragunov, RPS resembles RPK Machineguns, Strela-90 resembles the 9K32 Strela-2 MANPADS, and Mukha-99 resembles the 9K111 Fagot MANPATS. So, they will inform Maximus and his legionnaires about how to fight against these modern weapons.

"Attention, Legionnaires. Now, I will explain about more modern weapons because you will fight against a faction supported by modern weapons. Based on the intelligence data, Black Shadow will also send People's Republic of Uroslav weapons similar to the Soviet Union, a Hyperpower nation of 150 years ago on Earth. Based on our assumption, AS-74 resembles AK 74 assault rifle, SVK resembles SVD Dragunov, RPS resembles RPK Machineguns, Strela-90 resembles 9K32 Strela-2 MANPADS, and Mukha-99 resembles 9K111 Fagot MANPATS. So, I will explain about these modern weapons to you now." Colonel Ermey explains the possibility of Maximus and his legions against modern weapons from the People's Republic of Uroslav, which resembles the Soviet Union.

Colonel Ermey shifts his focus to the infantry weaponry likely to be wielded by the forces of the slavery faction supported by weapons from the People's Republic of Uroslav, starting with the AK-74 assault rifle that resembles AS-74.

"The AK-74 assault rifle," Colonel Ermey begins, pointing towards the display screen showcasing detailed schematics of the weapon, "is the successor to the iconic AK-47 and is chambered in the smaller 5.45x39mm cartridge. Known for its reliability and simplicity, the AK-74 offers a high rate of fire and is effective at medium-range engagements. Based on our assumption, AS-74 from the People's Republic of Uroslav will resemble AK-74, so I will explain more about this weapon. One advantage of this weapon is that the cost is relatively cheap. Even the insurgent and terrorist factions are capable of buying this weapon from the black market. This weapon also has a simple design that reduces the time and cost of building and producing it in the manufacturing weapon industry. Even this weapon could be built homemade to reduce costs more cheaply and reliably. If AS-74 has a similar specification to AK-74 and Black Shadow sends the blueprint of these weapons and trains Senator Brutus faction about building and producing this weapon, your civil war will be prolonged because of the increased enemy firepower." Colonel Ermey explains the strengths and advantages of AK-74.

He pauses, allowing the legionnaires to absorb the information before continuing, "However, despite its reputation for reliability, powerful, and cheap rifle, the AK-74 does have its drawbacks. The 5.45mm round, while lighter and faster than its predecessor, lacks the stopping power of larger calibers like the 7.62x51mm NATO round, your standard rifle rounds. Additionally, while robust, the AK-74's stamped steel construction may be slightly less accurate than rifles with milled receivers. However, you must be careful against this weapon, especially when you are in their effective range." Colonel Ermey explains the weakness of AK-74

Colonel Ermey then moves on to the SVD Dragunov sniper rifle, and Colonel Ermey elaborates on its capabilities and limitations.

"Now, I will explain the SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle to you. SVD Dragunov is a Sniper Rifle from the Soviet Union in the Cold War era. This weapon is a designated marksman rifle known for its accuracy and reliability. Chambered in the powerful 7.62x54mmR cartridge, the SVD can deliver precise long-range fire support. With an effective firing range of around 800 meters, the SVD Dragunov can engage targets at considerable distances, providing valuable long-range fire support. The design of the SVD is relatively simple, featuring fewer moving parts compared to some other sniper rifles. This simplicity contributes to its reliability and ease of maintenance." Colonel Ermey explains, gesturing towards the image on the screen of the SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle.

He pauses, then continues, "However, while the SVD excels at long-range engagements, it does have limitations. While semi-automatic fire capability is a strength in many scenarios, it also means that the SVD's rate of fire is slower than that of fully automatic rifles. This rate of fire can be a disadvantage in situations where rapid follow-up shots are necessary. Its long, heavy design may hinder maneuverability in close-quarters or urban combat scenarios. The SVD Dragunov is relatively heavy, especially when compared to lighter sniper rifles or carbines. This weight can disadvantage snipers who need to move quickly or operate in dynamic environments. The SVD is chambered for the 7.62×54mmR cartridge, which, while powerful and effective, may not offer the same ballistic performance or ammunition availability as some other sniper rifle calibers. While the PSO-1 telescopic sight is commonly used with the SVD, some users may find its fixed 4x magnification limiting for specific situations, especially when engaging targets at longer ranges or in varying lighting conditions. " Colonel Ermey explains the weakness of SVD Dragunov.

Colonel Ermey then moved to the RPK machine guns. He discusses the role of the RPK machine guns on the battlefield.

"This weapon is an RPK machine gun. This weapon is a machine gun from the Soviet Union in the Cold War era. It is a light machine gun based on the AK-47 design. Chambered in the same 7.62x39mm cartridge, the RPK offers sustained automatic fire support for infantry squads. The RPK is designed to provide sustained automatic fire, offering greater firepower compared to standard assault rifles. Its larger ammunition capacity and longer barrel allow for extended engagement of targets, making it effective in suppressing enemy positions. Despite being a light machine gun, the RPK is relatively accurate, especially when fired in short bursts. Its design incorporates features to mitigate recoil, such as a longer barrel and a heavier receiver, contributing to better control and accuracy during sustained fire. Like its AK-47 counterpart, the RPK is renowned for its robustness and reliability. It can withstand adverse conditions, such as mud, sand, and extreme temperatures, without significant degradation in performance. This reliability makes it well-suited for use in harsh environments. The RPK's design allows it to be used in various roles, including providing fire support for infantry squads, suppressing enemy positions, and engaging targets at medium to long ranges. It can also be used defensively, such as guarding fixed positions or covering fire during tactical maneuvers. The RPK shares many components and ammunition with the AK-47, facilitating logistics and maintenance in military units that already use the AK platform. This compatibility simplifies training and ensures interoperability with existing equipment." Colonel Ermey states, pointing towards the image displayed the advantages of RPK Machine Guns.

He pauses, then adds, "However, like any light machine gun, the RPK has weaknesses. Its relatively lightweight construction compared to heavier machine guns may result in less stability during prolonged firing, affecting accuracy over long distances. While effective at medium ranges, the RPK's effective range is still limited compared to dedicated sniper rifles or heavier machine guns. Engaging targets beyond their effective range may require more excellent skill and marksmanship. Additionally, its fixed barrel and lack of quick-change barrel capability mean it may be prone to overheating during sustained engagements. Continuous firing can lead to significant heat buildup in the RPK's barrel, potentially affecting accuracy and causing barrel deformation over time. Proper barrel maintenance and cooling measures are essential to mitigate this issue during prolonged engagements. While the RPK can accommodate optical sights on its side rail, the mounting system may not be as stable or versatile as those on dedicated sniper rifles or modern machine guns. This condition can limit the gunner's ability to customize their optics for specific mission requirements." Colonel Ermey explains the weakness of RPK Machine Guns.

Next, Colonel Ermey directs the legionnaires' attention to the anti-aircraft weaponry likely employed by Black Shadow forces, resembling the 9K32 Strela-2 MANPADS.

"This anti-air weapon is the 9K32 Strela-2. This weapon became one of man's portable anti-air weapons to shoot down aerial objects during the Soviet Union in the Cold War era. This weapon is a man-portable, shoulder-fired, surface-to-air missile system designed to engage low-flying aircraft, such as helicopters, drones, wyverns, giant birds, dragons, and aircraft while flying at low altitudes. One of the primary strengths of the Strela-2 is its portability. It is designed to be man-portable, allowing infantry units to quickly deploy and engage aerial threats in various combat environments. Its lightweight design enables a single soldier or small team to carry and operate it. The Strela-2 is relatively simple to operate, requiring minimal training for infantry personnel. The Strela-2 can be employed in various combat scenarios, including conventional warfare, counter-insurgency operations, and defensive roles. It provides infantry units a valuable capability to counter airborne threats and protect ground forces from aerial attacks. With its infrared homing guidance system, the Strela-2 poses a significant threat to your air assets." Colonel Ermey explains, pointing towards the display screen, about the advantage of the 9K32 Strela-2.

He pauses, then continues, "However, despite its effectiveness against low-flying aircraft, the Strela-2 does have limitations. Its manual guidance system requires the operator to track the target visually, making it less effective against fast-moving or maneuverable aircraft. While effective against low-flying targets, the Strela-2 has limited range and altitude capabilities compared to more advanced surface-to-air missile systems. Its maximum effective range is approximately 4 kilometers, and it can engage targets at altitudes of up to around 1.5 kilometers. This limitation makes it vulnerable to higher-flying aircraft and fast-moving targets. The Strela-2's passive infrared homing guidance system makes it susceptible to countermeasures such as infrared decoy flares and electronic jamming. Modern aircraft equipped with advanced countermeasures may be able to defeat or evade Strela-2 missiles, reducing their effectiveness in specific scenarios. The Strela-2 launcher typically carries only one missile, requiring the operator to reload after each shot. This single-shot capability can limit its sustained engagement capability and effectiveness in prolonged engagements or against multiple targets. While the Strela-2 missile travels at a high speed during flight, it may not be as fast as some modern aircraft, particularly jet fighters. This limitation can affect its ability to intercept fast-moving targets and may decrease its effectiveness against high-performance aircraft. Like all weapon systems, the Strela-2 requires regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Its reliability may be affected by environmental factors such as extreme temperatures, dust, and moisture, which can degrade its components and affect its operational readiness." Colonel Ermey explains the weakness of Strela-2.

Lastly, Colonel Ermey addresses the 9K111 Fagot anti-tank guided missile system and its role on the battlefield. He assumes Mukha-99 resembles 9K111 Fagot because of its widespread use in the Soviet Union during the Cold War era.

"This weapon is the 9K111 Fagot. This weapon is a wire-guided anti-tank missile system that engages armored vehicles at medium to long ranges. The 9K11 Fagot has a high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead capable of penetrating significant armor thicknesses, including those found on main battle tanks. This capability allows it to neutralize armored vehicles on the battlefield effectively. The Fagot employs a semi-automatic command-to-line-of-sight (SACLOS) guidance system, providing high accuracy in hitting targets. The operator tracks the target through sight, and the missile's flight path is adjusted accordingly to ensure precise targeting. The Fagot system can engage various armored targets, including main battle tanks, personnel carriers, and other vehicles. Its versatility makes it suitable for use in different combat environments and scenarios. The Fagot missile is relatively lightweight and portable, allowing infantry units to quickly deploy and engage enemy armored threats. Its man-portable nature ensures flexibility in battlefield maneuvering and rapid response to changing tactical situations. The 9K11 Fagot has a reputation for reliability and robustness. It has been used in numerous conflicts worldwide and has consistently performed in adverse conditions. With its powerful shaped charge warhead, accuracy, and versatility, the Fagot poses a significant threat to your armored assets." Colonel Ermey explains, gesturing towards the image of the advantage of 9K11 Fagot on the screen.

He pauses, then continues, "However, like any anti-tank guided missile system, the Fagot has its weaknesses. The SACLOS guidance system the Fagot uses requires the operator to visually track the target throughout the missile's flight path. This action makes the system vulnerable to obstructions, such as smoke, dust, and terrain features, which can interfere with the operator's ability to accurately maintain target lock and guide the missile. While effective at medium ranges, the Fagot has a relatively limited engagement range compared to some modern anti-tank missile systems. Its maximum effective range of approximately 2,500 meters may restrict its ability to engage targets at longer distances. Like all guided missile systems, the Fagot is susceptible to countermeasures employed by enemy forces. Measures such as smoke screens, decoy flares, and electronic countermeasures can disrupt or deceive the missile's guidance system, reducing its effectiveness in engaging targets. The Fagot launcher typically carries only one missile at a time, requiring the operator to reload after each shot. This single-shot capability can limit its sustained engagement capability and effectiveness against multiple or successive targets. While effective against armored vehicles, the Fagot may struggle against heavily armored or advanced tanks equipped with reactive armor or other advanced protection systems. These tanks may require multiple hits or more advanced anti-tank weapons to defeat. Additionally, its relatively slow missile speed and flight trajectory may make it easier for armored vehicles equipped with reactive armor or active protection systems to intercept or evade." Colonel Ermey explains the weakness of 9K11 Fagot.

Colonel Ermey addresses the legionnaires, emphasizing the importance of understanding and countering the modern weapons they may face from the People's Republic of Uroslav weapons while leveraging their arsenal of modern weaponry.

"All right, Legionnaires, let us discuss tactics against the weapons we have just covered. We will start with the AK-74 assault rifle. Given its effective range and rate of fire, your best strategy is to minimize exposure and use cover effectively. The AK-74 excels in medium-range engagements, so closing the distance or engaging from long distances can mitigate its effectiveness. Additionally, suppressing fire can pin down enemy forces armed with AK-74s, allowing your squadmates to flank or maneuver into better positions. Your modernized STG 44 has more power, accuracy, and range than the AK-74. Utilize this advantage against AK-74 users." Colonel Ermey explains strategies and tactics against AK-74 users.

Colonel Ermey pauses, ensuring the legionnaires understand the strategy against the AK-74, before moving on to the SVD Dragunov sniper rifle.

"Now, let us talk about countering the SVD Dragunov sniper rifle. Snipers can be a significant threat, especially in open terrain. Utilize cover and concealment to limit their line of sight and approach them cautiously. Flanking maneuvers or employing sniper teams can neutralize enemy snipers effectively. Remember, the SVD's slower rate of fire means they will have limited follow-up shots, so use this to your advantage to engage them before they can reposition or escape. You can use your Modernized Gewehr 43 to counter-snipe the enemy. However, make sure to cover yourself. You could use drones to detect the enemy sniper and send their coordinate to the artillery team to bombard them." Colonel Ermey explains strategies and tactics against SVD Dragunov users.

Next, Colonel Ermey addresses the RPK machine guns.

"When facing RPK machine guns, suppression and maneuverability are key. These weapons excel in sustained fire and can pin down your squad if you are caught in the open. Utilize smoke grenades or diversionary tactics to break their line of sight, then flank and neutralize the RPK gunner. Remember, their lightweight construction means they may struggle with sustained fire and accuracy, especially at longer ranges, so closing the distance can be advantageous. You could snipe them with your Gewehr 43, but make sure to cover yourself outside the effective range of the RPK. While covering, let the enemy fire and run out of ammunition. While they reload, you could throw grenade launchers from your modernized STG 44." Colonel Ermey explains strategies and tactics against RPK machine guns.

On to the anti-aircraft weaponry, Colonel Ermey discusses tactics against the Strela-2 MANPADS.

"When dealing with Strela-2 MANPADS, maintaining air superiority is crucial. Utilize ground-based anti-aircraft systems, such as the Flakpanzer Gepard, to neutralize enemy air threats before they can engage your forces. However, be aware of their anti-tank weapons using vehicles like Gepard and Panther II. Additionally, employing electronic countermeasures and decoy tactics can disrupt the infrared homing guidance of the Strela-2 missiles, increasing your aircraft's chances of evading or defeating incoming threats. Remember, the Strela-2's limited range and susceptibility to countermeasures make it less effective against modern aircraft equipped with advanced defensive systems. Your Me 262M has a modern countermeasure system for jamming and decoying the Strela-2 MANPADS system. You could fly at higher altitudes from the maximum altitude of Strela-2, so they can not lock and pursue your aircraft."

Finally, Colonel Ermey addresses tactics against the 9K111 Fagot anti-tank-guided missile system.

"When facing the 9K111 Fagot, armor protection and mobility are your best defenses. Your modern armored vehicles, like the Panther II, Flakpanzer Gepard, and Puma, are equipped with reactive nanomaterial armor and advanced protection systems, increasing their survivability against anti-tank missiles. Employing hull-down positions and cover can minimize your vehicle's exposure to enemy anti-tank threats. However, remember that even if your armored vehicle has reactive armor and an active protection system (APS), it is still vulnerable in the short range, and some of its parts are not strong, such as on the side and rear. Remember to keep the range outside the effective range of enemy anti-tank and always use certain infantry to cover your armored vehicle. Usually, the enemy will ambush and fire the side and rear of your vehicle at short range, so your APS will be late to active, and you will suffer devastation and damage in low-armored parts like the side and rear. Counterattacking with mobile anti-tank assets like the GM6 Lynx or employing artillery support from M77 Howitzers and Pz 2000 can also neutralize enemy anti-tank positions effectively."

"When you fight in urban conditions, be aware of the enemy ambush. You could use drones to surveillance the position of the enemy. Then, you could bombard the enemy with your artillery team. However, if you want to minimize the damage to infrastructure, you must send your infantry to clear from block to block. These tactics will have high risk because you will fight the enemy door to door and increase the casualties. I suggest you operate drones to reduce the casualties from your side. You will have the advantage when defending, but you must be careful when offensive. While defensive, you could put your sniper team in a high building or position while putting silencers to your weapons to minimize the sound. You could suppress the enemy advance with MG 42, but make sure to fire accurately and control the firing to reserve your ammunition." Colonel Ermey explains the potential and risks in urban warfare.

"Remember, this civil war will not be like swords against swords or arrows, but modern weapons against modern weapons. Remember, legionnaires, your strength lies in your adaptability, coordination, and superior firepower. With proper planning, strategic asset deployment, and unwavering determination, we will emerge victorious and secure victory for the Fortisregnum Empire."

Colonel Ermey ensures that Maximus and his legionnaires understand the importance of effectively utilizing their modern weapons against the threats posed by the modern weapons in the People's Republic of Uroslav's and Weltenkraft Reich's arsenal. He emphasizes the need for adaptability, coordination, and strategic thinking to overcome these challenges on the battlefield.

"Take the remaining two days to familiarize yourself with these weapons. However, remember that the weapons from this list are not exactly similar to the weapons from Black Shadows. Your adaptability and coordination during the battle is essential. Make sure to gain the information from the enemy. Our United Terran International Secret Intelligence Agency (UT ISIA) will also give you information about the enemy so that you can formulate strategies and tactics based on the actual information. Remember, the war of information is essential in the battle. Make sure the enemy does not know the actual power of your weapons. Decoy of information is essential to give the enemy false information so you will have advantages in the battle. May God bless all of you and punish evil that will cause destruction and oblivion to the people." Colonel Ermey closes the briefing section about the potential weapons of the enemy and strategies and tactics during the battle.

"Thank you, Colonel Ermey, for providing the information about enemy weapons. Yes, we will never forget what you, Colonel Rommel, and Colonel Hartmann. We will do our best to defeat Senator Brutus and their slavery faction, including the Black Shadow. We hope to meet again while you train us with more advanced weapons. May God bless you and all the people of United Terran." Maximus thanks Colonel Ermey, Colonel Rommel, and Colonel Hartmann because they train Maximus and his legions to master the modern weapons from the United Terran.

After two days of familiarizing themselves with the enemy's potential weapons, Maximus and his legions are ready to return to Aeterna City and fight against Senator Brutus and their slavery faction, supported by the Black Shadow Mercenary Company. United Terran will send Maximus and trained legions to Aeterna City and give short training sessions for the remaining legions before marching to Pompei City.

The United Terran government will send 2000 STG 44, 2500 Gewehr 43, 2000 MG42, 3000 MP40, 4000 P38, 1000 GM6, and 1000 Panzerfaust 3 for infantry weapons. They also send 5 Panther II, 10 Puma, 5 PzH 2000, 10 Flakpanzer Gepard, 10 M777 Howitzer, 10 Bofor 40 mm, 25 IVECO, and 10 Me 262M for heavy weapons and vehicles.

Colonel Ermey and UT ISF also train and give Maximus and his legionaries ten outdated drones, MQ 9 Reaper and ten MQ-1C Gray Eagle, for recon missions and airstrikes. The modernized cargo ships escorted by the UTS Enterprise Carrier Strike Group (CSG) will bring these weapons, vehicles, and aircraft.

Pampoi City, Fortisregnum Empire, 18 March 2141/ 18 Martius 1841, 09:00 am

The dockyard of Pampoi City is busier than usual because of the arrival of Black Shadow weapons from several nations, such as the People's Republic of Uroslav, Weltenkraft Reich, Imperio Estelar, and Tianlong Empire. Modernized weapons such as assault rifles, rifles, submachine guns, cannons, panzers, anti-tank weapons, and anti-air weapons will be used against the modernized weapons from the United Terran.

"Welcome Mr. 0, Mr. 01, Mr. 02, and Mrs. Saturday. On behalf of the slavery faction, I give my best regard to you for your support in our coup." Senator Brutus welcomed the leaderboard member of Black Shadow.

"Rest assured, Senator Brutus. We will support you in achieving your goal of becoming the Emperor of the Fortisregnum Empire. Our modern and magic weapons will help you defeat Emperor Aurelius's elite legions." Mr. 0 responds.

"Indeed. Just like Mr. 0 said, our modern weapons, panzer, and aircraft will help you to defeat the enemy. I got permission from the Führer to send you two hundred infantry weapons: Gewehr 98 rifles, Maschinepistole 18 submachine guns, and Sturmgewehr 24 assault rifles for infantry weapons. For Panzers, he gives you twenty Panzerkampfwagen Jaguar Medium Panzers and ten KönigsJaguar Heavy Panzers against the possible United Terran armored vehicle. For aircraft, he gives you sixty Bi-52 fighters, twenty-four Bi-38 tactical bombers, and thirty-six Bi-37 close air support. Three hundred and forty elite Sternritter will help operate our modern weapons." Mr. 01 reports about the support of infantry weapons, panzers, and aircraft.

"The Emperor sends one hundred magic muskets, thirty magic cannons, and twenty-four majestic dragons. Even though our weapons are more outdated than those from the People's Republic of Uroslav and Weltenkraft Reich, our magic weapons are enough against the elite legionnaires of the Fortisregnum Empire. One hundred musketeers from Black Shadow could destroy the elite legionnaires' testudo formation. Magic cannons can destroy the city wall, and even the strong city wall of Aeterna City will fall to our magic cannons." Mr. 02 reports about the support of magic muskets and cannons.

"Our martial art alliance and the Emperor already approved and sent fifty cultivators, including ten swords, twenty array, ten poison, and ten spirit cultivators, to help our troops against the elite legionnaires and possibly of United Terran soldiers who did not have magic power. The level of cultivators from the Peak Foundation Establishment stage and Peak of Core Formation Stage. Sword cultivators could use their Qi power to control swords in close and mid-range combat. Array cultivators will create an array to confuse and kill the enemy without magic power. Poison cultivators will use the deadly poison to poison and kill the enemy. Collaboration of array and poison will give the most deadly poison array. Spirit cultivators will use the elemental spirit in nature to help our forces defeat the enemy." Mrs. Saturday reports about the support of cultivators

"From my people, we send two hundred AS-74 assault rifles, thirty SVK sniper rifles, thirty RPK machine guns, twenty Strela-90 MANPADS, and twenty Muka-99 MANPATS. AS-74 will become the main weapon alongside Weltenkraft Reich assault rifles and Imperio Estelar magic muskets. SVK sniper rifles will become support alongside Weltenkraft Reich rifles. RPK will become for defense if the enemy tries to attack our bases. Strela-90 will shoot down the possibility of United Terran aircraft, and Muka-99 will destroy the armored vehicle of United Terran. Two hundred elite forces who join the Black Shadow will operate these weapons. We could defeat the elite legionnaires and overthrow Emperor Aurelius with our combined weapons." Mr. 0 reports about the infantry, anti-air, and anti-tank weapons.

When Mr. 0 mentioned United Terran aircraft, Mr. 01 remembered his discussion with Admiral Lütjens about the real power of United Terran.

"Senator Brutus and Mr. 0, when I came to Pampoi City, I discussed it with the admiral of my Nation. I send him this picture from the Fortisregnum Empire Navy sailor. He said the United Terran is similar to or maybe more advanced than the United States of Amarilon. Here, you can look at these pictures." Mr. 01 gave the pictures to Mr. 0.

"Impossible. How do they already utilize the stealth fighter in their Navy? Even our air force still struggles to design, test, and produce our stealth fighters. Our mission will fail if they help Emperor Aurelius with this kind of fighter. Another new hyperpower that will become a new rival to my Nation." Mr. 0 was surprised when he took the F-95C design, similar to that of stealth fighters from the United States of Amarilon.

"Yes, Mr. 0. Look at these pictures of their aircraft carriers. Even their size is more significant than our aircraft carriers and the United States of Amarilon. Even the admiral of my Nation tells me not to drag my Nation to this conflict. They said that this mission became the responsibility of Black Shadow. He said we must not threaten their people in the Fortisregnum Empire. If not, they will retaliate against us." Mr. 01 said.

"Rest assured, gentlemen. The United Terran, similar to the United States of Amarilon, will not intervene in the Fortisregnum Empire's internal conflict. I think they will not send their latest technology to Emperor Aurelius. If we can shoot down that aircraft, the People's Republic of Uroslav and Weltenkraft Reich could learn about that technology. However, Mr. 01 is right. We cannot touch the people of United Terran. I hear their Secretary-General was called "The people leader." He will not hesitate to annihilate everything and every one if his people injured or even killed by the foreign Nation. We cannot bear the burden of a Nation like the United States of Amarilon declaring war upon us." Senator responded that the United Terran would not intervene during the civil war if its people were not touched.

'These barbarian people did not understand the capability of stealth aircraft. The United States Amarilon became the strongest globally because it already used this stealth system. Even our latest radar is hardly able to detect their magic stealth aircraft. If we could capture these stealth aircraft, the Premier would be proud,' Mr. 0 thought.

"All right, gentlemen, tomorrow we will attack Colobria City. Colobria City became the most city loyal to Emperor Aurelius. Because the aircraft must be assembled first, and we must check the panzers and modern weapons, I hope the musketeers, magic cannons, and majestic dragons will first attack and capture this city. Remember, we must succeed in this mission. Glory to the Black Shadow! Glory to Senator Brutus." Mr. 0 ordered.

The Civil War of the Fortisregnum Empire has begun.
