This Healer is Too Overbearing.

“So, you thought it was funny when I awakened a healing ability in front of our graduating class?” Lee Chun questioned.

“No... I didn’t---” Sun Gu words were cut off by the sound of a sharp crack.

He screamed to the high heavens as Lee cleanly snapped his left leg in half with a single stomp of his foot. There was no change in look on Lee Chun’s face when he did it. It was as if the act of breaking the leg of one of the most talented high school students in the city weren’t a cause for concern. His calm but fierce gaze landed on the sobbing and crying Sun Gu.

“You were laughing it up when it was revealed that I was a Healing Crafter. Got everybody in the whole damn school to laugh at me even some of the teachers looked at me like I was a sad little bitch who wouldn’t get far in life.” It was one of the most humiliating events in Chun’s entire life.

“Normally, I would’ve just beat you half to death. But you see, because of your little brave stunt, my family found out that I was humiliated in front of most of the city and I awakened an ability that is looked down upon by everyone. Because of that, I'll have to break you more than I would have if you kept your stupid little mouth shut.” Chun squeezed the broken leg of Sun Gu causing him to scream even more.

“I’ve given you chance after chance to just fuck off and leave me alone but you continued provoking me. I tried being low-key to avoid my family throughout all of high school but now, they can’t keep their eyes off of me! I don’t know what made you so obsessed with me but just know whatever it is, I don’t give one shit about it. Now pucker your asshole, this is going to hurt.” Chun covered Sun Gu’s mouth with his hand as he began to systematically crush and break his bones one by one.

Sun Gu’s muffled screams were unable to break past the dark alleyway that Lee dragged him into. He snuck up on him from behind and forced him in the isolated area where no eyes could see. Sun’s first thought that he was being kidnapped because of his awakened elemental ability. His instinctive reaction was to use that recently awakened ability to protect himself. Unfortunately for him, his attacker was someone who was present at the graduation ceremony of Sun High.

Sun was knocked up the head with something blunt and hard that made it difficult for him to control his ice. The uncontrolled icy wind blasted against the wall but didn’t affect the assailant whatsoever. Another painful strike to his head knocked him to the ground and that’s when he learned that he was being assaulted by famous delinquent waste Lee Chun. He instantly realized what this was about and didn’t realize that Lee Chun was really crazy enough to do something like this!

Sun Gu was going to be accepted into Supreme Sword University. It was one of the top colleges for the most talented young Crafters. His status in his local surroundings was going to soar to heights they never would’ve reached before. However, after this incident, it was going to rise for reasons he wished they didn’t.

It wasn’t for no reason that Lee Chun came after him. Just like he explained before, he did humiliate him in front most of the city at the awakening ceremony. But it wasn’t for no reason that he decided to do so. Despite being a well-known delinquent, Lee Chun was the top student at their school and his bad boy attitude captured the hearts of many girls at the school. One of these girls was named Xia Yuqi, the school belle and second top student in Sun High. Every boy but Lee Chun was interested in courting her, but she only had eyes for Lee Chun. No matter how many tutors his father hired, no matter how hard he studied, no matter how many times he went without sleep to study, he could never surpass Xia Yuqi or Lee Chun.

He was fine with not surpassing his crush in intellect. But he could not accept that his crush only had eyes for such a contemptable and unlikable man! While he didn’t know if she was romantically interested in Lee Chun, just the fact that she saw herself as his rival was too much for Sun Gu. He couldn’t accept it and cursed Lee Chun every day for the past three years. And it seemed his efforts weren’t for nothing as Lee Chun awakened the useless healing ability that had no combative ability. There was only one Healing Crafter in Country Z that had decent fighting ability and they were an Ultimate ranked Crafter. The highest ranking for a Crafter. Every other well-known Healing Crafter were only known for their healing ability.

Once he saw that his cursing finally took effect, could anyone really blame him for releasing all the pent-up frustration he’s had at Lee by publicly humiliating him in front of everyone. And then to add on to the humiliation, Gu himself awakened as a Unique Elemental Crafter. It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that his potential was unlimited compared to someone like Lee Chun. Someone who could only succeed in life by riding the coattails of others and making connections by kissing up to the strong.

At this current moment in time, even with the bones in his body being inhumanely tortured, he still didn’t regret what he did. If there was a chance to do it all over again, he would do it even better the second time around. As Sun Gu was on the verge of fainting from extreme pain, he weakly rose his left hand up and gave Lee Chun the finger.

‘Fuck you Lee Chun... I hope you never find happiness in this lifetime...’ Then everything went dark.

“Oi, you crazy bastard. Do you think you can just give me the finger and faint?” Lee Chun stood over the unconscious Sun Gu.

Chun raised his foot and pulled it back before delivering a devasting kick to Sun Gu’s midsection. A heavy groan escaped his lips as his body was sent sliding across the concrete. He was quickly brought back to reality in anguishing pain. To reward him from waking back up, Chun repeatedly stomped on Sun’s bruised, battered, and broken body. He was unable to resist at all.

“We’re almost done Sun. Don’t give out on me so soon. What’s a few broken bones to a genius like you? A true genius can fight even if all 206 of their bones are broken. I’m only going to break half of that. So, quit your whining Mr. Genius.” Chun grabbed Sun’s fragile hand and crushed a majority of the bones inside.

He released a shrill screech that alerted a curious pedestrian passing by the alleyway. As their face poked into the alleyway, Lee grinned while holding Sun Gu’s broken hand. He waved at the businesswoman with Sun’s mangled hand. Upon seeing that demonic smile, the woman ran away so fast that Chun almost believed that she was a ghost.

Time went by incredibly slowly as Chun taught Sun Gu a valuable lesson. So slowly in fact, that the entire altercation between the two of them didn’t even take half an hour. After Chun did well on his promise to break half of Sun’s bones with him feeling every second of it, he spent the rest of the time using his newly awakened ability. He healed him! Chun healed him until he had no energy left to heal him anymore before leaving his twitching unconscious body in the alleyway.

As he left, Chun took out smoke and stuck it in his mouth as he went on his way home. He didn’t partially heal Sun Gu because he was worried about the consequences of hurting him. Chun healed him because he wanted to find out the limits of his ability. After doing some valuable testing on Sun Gu, Chun knew the perfect way to use this ability to strengthen himself. While his family was complete trash and he wanted nothing to do with them, he did have to thank them for the knowledge and training they forced upon him in his youth.

Because of that hell, this healing ability that everyone else sees as just a supportive ability will be the reason for him becoming superhuman. Lee Chun will put his body through the wringer and once his body is all worn out and injured, he’ll heal his internal injuries before jumping back into the training. With his healing ability, he can directly skip the resting period usually required when exercising. Effectively gaining strength far faster than anyone else could possibly do in the world.

“How annoying though. I do not want to go back home.” Chun sighed, walking down the street.
