“Oh, heroic and virtuous Hero! We call upon you to save our lands from great evil!” Some fat pig was yelling at him.
Pluto couldn’t help but let out a laugh at his current situation.
“Kikikikiki!” His uncontained joy was freely released into the surroundings for all the people around him to shiver in terror from. “It looks like I'm still alive.” Before being brought here, he was about to be killed by some unfun pricks of justice.
“Did we accidentally summon an evil hero?” One mage whispered to the other.
“He must have killed hundreds from where he came from.” The other whispered back.
“Guards! Immediately restrain the evil hero!” The king quickly turned around.
As the multiple knights ran forward with their swords, everyone was stunned as they suddenly dropped onto the floor. Blood spilled from their corpses, and very few could understand what just happened. Pluto’s laughter rang out even more as he grinned at the king. The king felt a shiver in his soul from the boy, that had to be nearly half his age! What kind of ridiculous hero did he just bring to his kingdom?!
“Getting second thoughts, Piggy?” Pluto chuckled, momentarily revealing the bright purple eyes laced with madness.
“Monster...!” The king gritted his teeth. “Henry! Retrain the hero.” He commanded his most trusted knight.
“Of course, Your Majesty.” Henry bowed his head and then looked towards Pluto.
He took a single leap with his blade in his hand and instantly appeared in front of him.
“Kikiki... You’re pretty fast.” Pluto smiled as he could not react to the knight's inhuman speed and was captured in his grip.
“Silence. Daisy! Bring the collar.” He shouted.
A girl wearing thick glasses and a robe came running over with a wooden staff in her hands. She pulled out a black collar from her pocket and nearly dropped it. Pluto grinned as he tossed a deadly weapon at the clumsy fool and laughed as a blue barrier formed around her. The knight didn’t like how he just almost killed the girl and broke his arm for it.
“So, there’s magic here, huh? Interesting!” He cackled as if his broken arm's pain was nothing compared to this discovery.
She started to place the collar around his neck, but Pluto wasn’t quite finished playing around yet. His non-broken arm was being tightly held by the knight while he was lifted off the ground, leaving him only a few options before the collar could be wrapped around his neck. The knight glared at him with a look that promised even more broken bones if he tried anything else. Pluto was interested in just how many he would break after this...
The mad hero continually laughed as the collar got closer and closer. Before suddenly shooting a tiny silver object from his mouth straight into Henry’s eye. It struck true and completely pierced his eyeball, causing him to scream out in pain and rage. Daisy successfully placed the collar on and jumped back in fright from Henry’s screaming. Giving Pluto the opportunity to see just how powerful this little magic barrier was.
He sliced and sliced and sliced at Daisy with one sharp little knife in his hand. She screamed and crouched in fetal position as the barrier deflected all of his attacks. His strength and knife just weren’t strong enough to get past it. As he was about to give up, he suddenly heard Piggy screaming.
“Henry! Do not kill the hero!” Behind him, the big burly knight dripping with hatred and murderous intent was inches from wrapping his neck around his throat.
“Ah. What a shame you listened. If you got any closer, I would’ve been so happy. Kikikikik.” Pluto laughed as Henry’s neck was nearly severed.
“Stop, hero!” Piggy ordered.
“And what if I say no?” Pluto tried walking towards him, only to feel a powerful force keeping him in place. “Oh. So that’s what this thing does. I guess I'm a Slave Hero now, huh?!” He snickered.
“Daisy, take the Hero to the dungeon. I have much to think about regarding the future of our kingdom...” Piggy sighed.
“Yes, Your Majesty!” Daisy clumsily bowed, almost tipping over. “Follow me, Hero!” She tried to sound commanding and fierce.
“Ay ay.” Pluto playfully saluted as his body forcefully followed behind her.
“Henry. Have your injury taken care of, and then return to me. Daisy. Once he’s in the dungeon, heal his arm back to normal.” He ordered.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
“Yes!” They responded.
Pluto was led through the lavish, huge, and fancy castle behind the silly witch. On their way, he continually tried killing her by throwing his knives or slashing and stabbing her. Only for that barrier to block it all. He couldn’t wait to get his hands on some magic to enhance his knives with.
Back where he came from, trying to get his hands on someone willing to make his specially crafted knives on the black market was a rarity. It doesn’t need to be said, but Pluto wasn’t very popular with most people. Just because he was a very successful hitman didn’t mean he didn’t deserve the same rights as others. But being too talented at a job can only invite hardship it seems.
“Stop trying to kill me, Hero!” She cutely requested.
“But you’re so adorable. How could I help myself from trying to rip you to pieces?” He responded back in a similar high-pitched voice as his body listened to her request.
Seeing that his attempts to kill her have stopped, she continued to bring him into the dungeons. A dark, damp, and cold place. Pluto noticed that the jails were all empty, and he had the place all to himself! Before Daisy could stuff him inside one of the cells, he gave one last attempt to stab her with his knife. His body surprisingly listened and caused Daisy to scream out in fright as her barrier blocked it once more.
‘It looks like when I tried to kill her, it didn’t work, but when I wanted to give her a cut that wouldn’t kill her at first but eventually would leave her dead from blood loss, it did.’ Pluto realized this collar wasn’t absolute in its functioning.
“Hero! You can’t try to hurt me or kill me anymore! You can’t do anything that would end up having me dead, hurt, or bleeding!” She screamed, realizing that this hero was absolutely addicted to murder!
If she weren’t born with a considerable talent for magic and a body with a massive amount of mana, this hero would already have killed her! Her poor life would’ve ended at the hands of the person who was supposed to bring peace to the world! The whole point of the king summoning the hero was to defeat the Demon Lord, aggressively expanding his kingdom. Without the hero, humans stood no chance against the Demon Lord and his forces. Were they supposed to raise someone like this into a savior of humanity?! It was as if they summoned the Demon Lord’s son in the form of a hero!
“Kikiki. Looks like that one was the trick, Witch. Now I can’t even accidentally try and kill you.” Pluto grinned with his shiny white teeth.
Since his hair covered his eyes, it usually would be difficult to see what kind of expression he was making, but since Pluto always had a grin or smile on his face, it was easy to tell what kind of person he was. A person that Daisy absolutely disliked! She hated the hero with every fiber of her being. She’s almost died 50 times today. That’s how many times he’s tried to kill her since they met.
“What were the gods thinking bringing someone like this as our hero...?” She muttered in sorrow.
“Haven’t you ever heard that beggars can’t be choosers?” A mysterious woman came walking down the hall.
A knife instantly went flying towards her throat, only to be melted by a brief wall of flames. She was dressed similarly to Daisy. Bright red robes, a staff, and magic. If anyone saw these two, they would be blinded by their beauty and fantastic bodies. The mature woman and Daisy both having large breasts, slim waists, and thin legs. Pluto was only interested in their magic.
“Kikiki. Hello Fire Witch.” Pluto greeted with a wave.
“It looks like the rumors were true about the Mad Hero...” She gazed at his figure.
“Master?! What are you doing down here?” Daisy squeaked. “And Hero! You can’t try to hurt or kill or make the people I care about bleed!” She quickly ordered.
“Ah, come on. I was just saying hello.” Pluto laughed as his body complied with the order.
“I can’t leave my cute little apprentice alone with such a dangerous man.”
“This hero is very dangerous, Master! You know he’s tried to kill me over 40 times in just under an hour!?” Daisy complained.
“A newly summoned hero that could partially blind a knight on Henry’s level is anything but ordinary, it seems. The previous heroes summoned in legends were said to be weaker than the average farmer, but this time around it's different for some reason.” Fire Witch explained.
“Did I do something wrong? I followed the spell perfectly...” Daisy wondered.
“Of course, it’s not your fault, silly. If any mages did anything wrong, the spell would’ve failed entirely.” Fire Witch calmed her worries.
“And summoning a new hero is impossible right?” Daisy wanted to make sure.
“Not for another 100 years or so. That’s when the new Demon Lord will be hatched.” Fire Witch informed.
“Haah... Getting through dangerous times with a hero like this is going to be awful.”
“Not necessarily. If we can use his prowess in fighting against the enemies of the kingdom, things should turn out well.”
“But he hasn’t even figured out his blessing yet! Once we figure out what it can do, this hero will only become even more out of hand!”
“Blessing? You are perhaps talking about this little thing on my hand?” Pluto placed his left hand through the cell’s bars, showing the back of it.
A complex mark was etched into it, glowing a dark purple color. Pluto was wondering what the hell this was, but it looks like it was a gift for becoming the hero of this place. He was interested in what it could do. Maybe getting past magic barriers would be possible with it.
“Yes,” Daisy responded.
“Kikiki... When are we going to figure out what it does?” He asked.
“When the king decides what we’re going to do with you and how we’re going to handle a hero as mad as you.” Fire Witch told him.
From the stairs, the sounds of someone running down them could be heard.
“The king has ordered everyone to the throne room! The hero excluded!” A young knight shouted.
“What’s with the discrimination here? Just because I killed a few people doesn’t mean I need to be locked away in some cage. It was in self-defense, you know?” Pluto giggled.
Daisy and the Fire Witch were about to leave him alone in the dungeon before Daisy suddenly ran back.
“You are not allowed to try and leave the dungeon!” She ordered.
“Fine. Fine.” She wasn’t as naïve as he thought.
They left him all alone in the dungeon with his glowing hand.
