Chaotic Troublemaker!

A young handsome fallen noble sat quietly at his desk. All the other students paid him no attention and happily socialized with one another. He stared outside the window at the falling leaves, blue sky, and twin moons. Jason sighed as class was about to begin. It looks like today was going to be a lot more boring than usual.

“The number one F-Class student has arrived! Totally not late at all!” A loud young teen announced his sudden arrival.

Those that were looking in his direction before he appeared realized that he teleported directly into the classroom without a sound! They then quickly looked away once they realized who it was. From the looks on their faces, it could be seen that only one person seemed to be delighted at this student’s appearance. Jason turned his attention to the teleporter and gave a small smile.

“Yo, yo, yo! Still brooding about that thing you can’t do anything about because you’re too weak right now?” He grinned at Jason.

“I’m not brooding.” Jason denied his accusations.

“Eh, don’t worry too much about it, buddy. You’ll be able to reclaim your family’s status in no time. Don’t forget, as the protagonist, most things will fall into your lap without you even trying.” He patted him on his shoulder.

“Ribbit.” The green frog on his shoulder seemed to nod along with the boy.

“I’m not a story book hero, Karlos. I don’t see why you keep calling me that when I'm an F-class just like you.” Jason always thought that Karlos had a screw loose somewhere but as his friend, he didn’t mention it.

“You’re only an F-class because we haven’t figured out how to unlock your true talent. Once we awaken that bad boy, you’ll shoot up to S-class in an instant. Then Rose, Cassie, and Sylvie will all be clambering and fighting with each other to claim your protagonist seed for themselves.” Karlos said as if it was a matter-of-fact.

“Shut up!” Jason tried to get him to lower his voice.

Suddenly, a sword came flying toward Karlos who was smirking at Jason. He placed his finger to his forehead and teleported out of the way of the incoming blade. With a disappointing shake of his head, he looked toward the violent culprit. She glared at him as the sword came spinning back toward her hand.

“Now Cassie, that is no way to act when you’re embarrassed.” Karlos scolded her like a naughty child. “What kind of noble immediately reacts with violence when they are embarrassed? Are you a barbarian from the South?”

“You dare call me a barbarian, you F-Class loser!?” Cassie’s sword sparked with electricity.

“Tut, tut, tut. You’re really bringing shame to the Shard Family. If this is how their only heir acts, I feel terrified for their future. You don’t see Sylvie or Rose throwing a temper tantrum over this. Sylvie the mysterious shy beauty simply ignored me while Rose secretly blushed without saying a word.” Karlos didn’t restrain his words at all!

“I did not blush!” Rose badly defended herself as her face was flushed.

“...” Sylvie merely ignored him.

“Oh my god, this can’t be happening.”

“How could they have a crush on that waste!?”

“Well, Jason is pretty handsome...” A girl quietly spoke up.

“SO LOOKS ARE ALL THAT MATTER!?”

“And they call us guys shallow.” This student spat in disgust.

“Don’t attack us just because you aren’t handsome!”

“Whatever. Go take your pretty boy. See just how well he protects you with his F-class talent and F-class combat ability.”

The class delved further into arguments and disputes. Karlos sat next to Jason with a very satisfied smile on his face. Jason’s face had a faint blush on it as he thought about Sylvie, Rose, or Cassie having a crush on him. They were all very beautiful girls in everyone’s opinion. In fact, they were often called the Three Beauties of Class 8.

Jason then quickly sobered up as he realized the atmosphere in the classroom has devolved into a war field. He glared at his best friend after seeing him look so happy at the mood in the room. Despite only knowing him for a few weeks, it didn’t take long for Jason to understand that Karlos loved to rile people up. For whatever reason...

“Why do you make it your duty to upset people?” Jason asked honestly.

“If I don’t do it, who will?” Karlos responded with a heroic tone. “Just like how the heroes of old times put their mind, bodies, and souls on the line to slay monsters and protect the weak and innocent. I sacrifice myself to state the truth and reveal the honesty in people’s hearts. What kind of world is worth living if everyone didn’t show who they really were? It would be a lie! A world built upon false pretenses!”

“...” Jason was getting convinced a little.

“Could you imagine a world where people never revealed their true selves? That’s why I do what I do. To prevent such a world from taking place. Especially with people our age who only cares about reputation and strength. You don’t think these guys would do anything for the sake of their pride or to gain more power? Because I do. And lying about their character is the first step to that slippery slope.” Karlos continued his spiel.

“I guess I can’t...” Such a world sounded terrible.

“You know he’s fucking with you, right?” Roy spoke up from behind them.

Roy rested his legs on top of his desk and looked down on them. Specifically looking at Jason like he was an idiot.

“What?” Jason looked at Karlos in anger.

“Now are you going to believe this violent playboy, or your best friend?” Karlos played on one of Jason’s weaknesses. “You know he’s sent several people to the infirmary just on his first day of school? I even heard that women aren’t spared. His hands are free for everybody.” Karlos whispered that last part.

“You keep speaking bullshit about me, I'll send you to the infirmary.” Roy’s fist combusted into flames.

“Look! He’s about to hit me and I've said nothing but the truth! Do you really want to take the words of this future mass slaughterer over me?! Think about it carefully!” Karlos didn’t seem to know when to stop.

Jason hesitated. Roy did act violently and looked dangerous with his spiky red hair, muscular body, and sharp facial features. He had a B-rank talent with A-rank combat ability. Whenever the class had training together, he’d usually destroy whatever team he faced against without holding back.

“Do you know who you’re messing with, frog boy? Do you really wanna try me?” Roy’s eyes seemed to be burning with overwhelming power.

“Eheheh. You know I wouldn’t do that. An F-class student like me couldn’t even compare to one of your toes, Roy! Please forgive me for my audacious words, I forgot my place.” Karlos’s posture screamed submission and servitude as he bowed toward Roy.

“Hmph. You say any shit like that again about me again, don’t expect forgiveness.” Roy’s flames extinguished themselves.

“Yes, my liege.” Karlos couldn’t stop himself from snickering.

“You F-class bastard! You’re making fun of me!?” Roy tossed a wave of flames toward Karlos who already had his finger on his forehead.

Karlos grabbed Jason and teleported to the front of the classroom with him before the heat of the flames could reach them. Jason fell on his butt from the sudden spatial disposition while Karlos grinned at Roy. He knew he was pushing it with someone as talented as Roy but come on. The arrogant handsome delinquent was asking for it.

“Actually, you might be a better match with Cassie than Jason. You’re both violent nobles who don’t know how to handle being made fun of. You know, if the two of you had more muscles, I would definitely think of you as barbarians adopted by nobles. I truly feel sorry for your future houses.” Karlos continued to push his luck.

“Karlos! If it’s the last thing I do, I will punch you in your mouth until you can’t speak anymore!” Cassie was fed up.

“Thank you for proving my point.” Karlos winked at her.

Roy stood up from his desk and a ball of flames slowly formed above his palm. Karlos’s heart raced as he realized that Cassie too was preparing to attack him. He was confident in his Instant Movement technique, but he refused to believe that these two would really go all out to attack him in the middle of class with everyone still here. In a situation like this, he had all the advantages! They wouldn’t!

But they did. Roy’s fire ball split into 5 smaller balls that homed in on Karlos’s position. Cassie’s leaped toward him with her lightning sword, ready to chop him. He looked at her in confusion, was she really planning to kill him? What else could she do by coming at him with a lightning sword? There were no non-fatal ways she could hurt him with that, were there?

Well, it didn’t really matter. Karlos teleported behind Sylvie. The two didn’t hesitate to continue their violent assault. Karlos grinned. These two were either so caught up in their anger that they didn’t realize who he was standing behind or were truly confident that she wouldn’t intervene.

Unfortunately for them, she did intervene. Sylvie extinguished Roy’s fireballs with a gesture of her hand while Cassie was struck in the abdomen with an invisible blast of wind. Then Karlos felt his body being restrained by something. Ah shit, she didn’t spare him either. But fair was fair, he did use her.

“I’d like to say I think you are very pretty, nice, and will be a great noble in the future before you harm me. I also wish to date you because your personality is really attractive compared to any other girl in here.” Karlos tried to get on her good side.

“Quiet.” She still didn’t spare him.

Karlos felt a blow to his forehead and everything went dark. He thought he could hear Jason calling for him but honestly, he couldn’t tell... He was still sucked into Sylvie’s bright green eyes.
