“Hehehe... Hahahaha. Wahahaahahaha!” A young girl’s laughter rang out.
Her wild unkempt green hair bounced as she laughed while her pink eyes shined with a frightening glow. The lamp inside her room was barely lit, growing her shadow to gigantic proportions. She looked at her creation with glee and pride. So much glee in fact that her parents had to yell at her to quiet down from downstairs. Mya lowered the volume of her giggling but she didn’t stop it.
“Now. For the creation of Alteria’s God Bow!” Mya Loveless didn’t hold back.
With a shiny golden bow raised in her left hand and another exact replica of the bow in her right hand, she used her Unique Magic and forced them together! The two bows slowly merged into each other as a humongous amount of Spirit Mana generated from their fusion. A bright light blinded Mya’s eyes and the force from the Spirit Mana created from the fusion blew her to the wall but it did nothing to stop her maniacal laughter at her success.
“Bwehehehehehe!” The fusion took no more than a minute to complete and once it was finished Mya could finally drop to the floor.
She rushed over to see her creation and couldn’t stop herself from drooling as she picked it up in her hands. The weight felt perfect in her hands and she couldn’t stop herself from seeing what it was capable of! Mya rushed out of her room grabbing a quiver of arrows without a care to her appearance and ran down the stairs. Her parents called out to her as she was leaving out the door but she didn’t even take in their existence as she ran to forest. They yelled after her but it was no use.
Once she made it to the forest, Mya flapped her white heart-shaped wings and began flying high above the forest. As a member of the Cupid race in the world of Alteria, she was born with these wings! Her hands shook from excitement as she searched for worthy test subjects to test the God Bow on. The God Bow was created from the fusion of 100 bows combined into one. Not even Mya was aware of the true potential or capabilities held in this bow. But she knew that it was incredibly powerful! And once she shows off its greatness to the Evil Empire’s Army, they’ll definitely want to support her! When that happens, no longer will she have to beg her parents to buy things for her or go out searching in the forest for new subjects to test on and with.
But first, she had to make sure it truly was as great as she believes it is. To do that, she had to bring the corpse of a truly fearsome monster. A monster that a soldier wouldn’t be able to take down alone. So, she continued to fly deeper into the forest until she found her monster. Along the way, some bird monster tried attacking her but in her eyes, they only put themselves on a silver platter for her to test her bow.
Mya easily took aim with her bow and fired as the Silver-eyed Wormbird came flying directly towards her. The flesh-colored worm with wings opened its mouth to reveal a circular set of teeth. Her arrow seemingly disappeared after she released it but her eyes never left her target. After firing the arrow, the wormbird was split in half from head to tail. It was pierced so easily, Mya couldn’t help herself from excitedly laughing.
It was only after seeing that sight that Mya wanted to see what kind of power it would hold when faced up against a truly powerful monster even more. She quickly flew into the deepest parts of the forest with nothing but the clothes on her back and the God Bow in her hands. Eventually, she found a wandering monster feasting on the body of another while it was still alive. It was a Two-Headed Troll. An ugly monstrosity that craved flesh and blood. A monster that could only said to be killed through the destruction of their heart. Even if you were to remove every single limb of their body, including their heads, they would still regenerate from it.
“Perfect...! Truly, what monster is more fitting for the God Bow than this one!?” Mya gushed.
It was a monster that seasoned adventurers from the Holy Empire would have trouble against! In her excitement, the monster heard her from above but it had no manner of attacking her from this distance with its tree trunk club. So, it angrily waved its club at her before getting back to eating its meal. Mya’s eyes glowed as she pulled on the bowstring with an arrow ready. As she released the string, she suddenly wondered if a troll’s heart was in the same spot as a human.
To her surprise, the arrow completely went off target from where she aimed it. Instead of aiming for the left side of its chest, the arrow pierced through the left iliac, causing the troll to roar out in terrible pain before falling over dead. It was at that moment, she suddenly realized that the God Bow was capable of hitting any target the wielder wished it to! Or at least, until she confirmed such a hypothesis with more testing! But that’s something for a later time, right now, she has to get this troll corpse and return before it gets dark!
Mya used her mana to temporarily strengthen her body so that she was able to carry the Troll corpse back to the Demonic King City. By the time she arrived back home, it was getting dark and her parents were furious when she knocked on the door. But once they saw the corpse dropped in front of her, their anger was replaced with worry, confusion, and fright. Mya’s mother hugged her and enveloped her in her large chest, making it quite difficult for Mya to breath.

“I’m fine mom! Dad, come help me take this to the Demon King’s Castle! I finally made something worthy to help the Empire!” Mya happily chatted.
“Help the Empire?” Her father questioned.
“Why haven’t we heard anything about this?” Her mother asked.
“No time! Let’s go before they close for today!” Mya pulled on the troll’s huge foot that was bigger than the upper half of her body.
Adri, her father, and Mary, her mother, decided to not question their daughter further and help her instead. With their help, it didn’t take long for the Loveless family to make it to the Demon King’s Castle. Many eyes focused on them as they carried the corpse of a Troll into the castle. Some even followed behind them at a distance to see what was going on and why did they have such a dangerous monster’s corpse in their hands.
“Hey! Hey! You!” Mya called out to the soldier at the desk who was too busy focusing on her troll corpse.
“Wha? Yeah, kid?”
“I killed this troll! I want the Empire to give me lots of resources to do whatever I want and I'll give them more things like this!” She held up her rainbow-colored bow in the air.
It only took a second for the demon at the counter to understand just how powerful the weapon in her hands was. He quickly pulled out a small hammer from under the desk and smacked the bell on the desk. The Loveless family watched as a bespectacled and very tall demon suddenly teleported behind the counter with a thick book in his hands. From his appearance, people would think of him as handsome, knowledgeable, and very powerful.
“Why was the emergency bell rung?” He asked.
“Lord Second Demon Lord Sir! This Cupid family has claimed to have created a legendary weapon and have brought back the corpse of a Troll as proof of its ability!” The demon at the counter shouted.
Second Demon Lord backhanded him across the face, twisting his neck to a fatal degree as several gasps rang out from those that followed behind the Loveless Family.
“You nitwit! Do you think I am deaf and cannot hear you even though we’re standing a few feet from each other?! A quick death is a mercy for an idiot like you.” Second Demon Lord took out a handkerchief and wiped the hand that slapped the demon.
“You’re the Cupid family, right?” Second Demon Lord asked, staring at the Loveless Family.
Adri and Mary took a deep gulp as they slowly nodded their heads. Mya rapidly nodded clutching the God Bow in her hands.
“Follow me then.” He snapped his finger and suddenly they were taken inside a large office filled with papers, bookshelves filled with books, and a large desk.
“Whoa!”
“Ah!”
“The Troll!” Mya cried out.
“Don’t worry about that thing. I’ve placed it somewhere else for the time being. I’d rather not have the stench of a monster like that inside my office.” He explained as he took out a journal and a pen.
“Which one of you created the Legendary weapon?”
“Me!” Mya answered.
“Which one of you killed the Troll?”
“Me!”
“I assumed you’re her parents?” Second Demon Lord asked, writing away in the journal.
“That’s correct... Lord Demon Lord Sir.” Both Adri and Mary kept their heads down in a bowing position.
“Just refer to me as Bile for now. Outside of this office, you will call me Second Demon Lord.”
“Yes, Lord Bile.” The husband and wife responded together.
“Tell me your names. If you are indeed telling the truth, this achievement of your daughter’s is one of a kind in all of the Evil Empire’s history.”
“I’m Adri. My wife’s name is Mary and my daughter is Mya. We’re the Loveless Family.” Adri answered.
“Mya. How did you create a legendary weapon at your age?” Bile got straight to the question he wanted answered first.
“With my Unique Magic, Fusion! I fused together 100 bows into one, creating the magnificent God Bow!” Mya was more than happy to share.
“Is that why you kept asking us to buy you so many bows?” Adri suddenly realized.
“Yes! All for this moment! Lord Bile! I want to support the Evil Empire with my creations but my parents are too poor to give me what I need! If you give me all the resources I ask for, I will create more things like the God Bow for the Evil Empire!” Mya looked into Bile’s eyes as her upper body was over his desk.
“That sounds fine to me. Very well. You-”
“Wait a second Lord Bile! Isn’t she a little too young to serve the Empire at her age? She hasn’t even reached maturity yet!”
“The potential strength she could give to the Empire is too great to let her waste for years. You have nothing to worry about Mr. Adri. Little Mya won’t be sent into any battles or even near a battlefield. Her usage would be best utilized here, in the capital of the Evil Empire. However, we will need to assign her several bodyguards and hold her here at the castle. If any information about her spreads outside the city, she needs to be protected at all costs.” He adjusted his glasses by pushing them up.
“We won’t be able to see her anymore...?” Mary asked.
“That’s incorrect. It may prove detrimental to the child’s mental state if she were to be separated from her parents. All of you will live inside the castle with several benefits given to you once I see Mya’s potential to aid the Empire in whole. For now, Mya will show me everything about her Unique Magic and I will test the effectiveness of this God Bow.”
“What about the people that heard in the lobby?” Adri brought up.
“You don’t have to worry about them. I’ve already taken measures to keep their mouths shut about what they heard.”
“If there are no further questions, let’s begin.” Bile snapped his fingers and they were suddenly brought somewhere else.
