18th chapter : objectives and true intentions .

After an hour,

“What the heck happened to you!!!” Carla asked as she was checking on his body.

“Let him rest, I already did an analysis and his body seems to be ok, though the blood was real” Alex replied as they were sitting in the office room.

Alice on the other side was slightly injured and had to use a few healing items to get back in shape. The two took a bath then returned to speak with the others.

“So, is there any explanation you want to give us about what just happened?” Xavier asked as he was the most calm person after Zack.

“Well, I don’t really know where to start from, also sorry I got caught in the battle to the point where I saw you as an enemy that I must kill” Marco apologized to Alice who replied.

“forget about that” she had a serious look.

Where do I start from? first, my family is cursed, I hold something better to call it just a curse” Marco looked serious for a second “second, I don’t have the slightest memory about my parents or where I was born, if I had cousins around or anything related to my childhood before I met Hana”.

Everyone was hearing him calmly.

“Third, my grandpa might be alive even my parents would be, forget about my memories cause I don’t really think I need them as long as my brother and sister are fine and have a good life with a big family, I would sacrifice myself for it. My objective after building a good family for them is to search about my grandpa or my parents” he sighed at the end of his words.

As they were Listening to him, Marco looked far too calm for a person who’s talking about tragic things that happened to him.

“I see…” Alice said but she got interrupted by Marco.

“I didn’t finish yet” he calmly said “One last thing, this curse can envelop my body, so the blood loss is an effect after I use that mode just like this”.

Marco showed them the curse mode. As soon as he released it, they felt a strong pressure of both the euro and death, binding them from moving. Watching calmly, they couldn’t do a thing even if they tried to fight him.

“This thing is my trump card. Well, my first option if I really had to fight anyone, my ancestors call it the curse mode” Marco undone the mode and sighed as he spit blood a little bit. “also don’t worry about the blood loss, I have boundless euro reserves, so my body automatically converts the euro particles to blood so I can stay alive, to put it simply this thing is the curse’s work. I might live more than anyone in this room or even die before all of you, because even if it gives me a strong well built body and the erasing ability, to the end of the road it’s still a curse, my ancestors said that it’ll make me die a pathetic death by the end of the journey”.

Marco said as he was looking into their eyes nearly unable to comment on anything. he finished then exhaled every breath he had standing up and bowing to them.

“There’s no comments you can give me. but rest assured, my only objective is the happiness of my little brother and sister”

Marco was honest when the chains suddenly stopped Xavier’s punch heading towards him.

“What's this!? you still fear those kinds of things, you apologized way too much!!” Xavier was holding his hand as he felt numb because of the chains.

“He’s right! you can’t keep apologizing about stupid stuff, also we have our own secrets too, so keep it quiet” Alex said as she pat his shoulder.

“These two are right, well not like I’m satisfied by your answer, I’m your partner and you covered for these things all this time” Carla said as she smiled after pouting.

“Well, cursed or not. besides the festival, it’ll be our second objective to figure out your memories and a solution for this curse thing, so don’t be that gloomy and smile” Alice replied after them with a sigh.

Marco was looking at them with not much surprised face but he grinned a small smile at them.

After three days,

“Marco, can you please treat me to a meal? I’m tired and I want to sleep!!” Carla was yawning in the middle of the living room of their house in the afternoon.

“Don’t yawn like that, if you are tired, I can give you some of my euro” Marco suggested out of the blue to Carla that he would give her some push up.

“Heeh!!? Wh-wha-wha-what do you mean!!!!???” Carla was startled.

In the other corner, Selicia was smirking at Marco.

“It is indeed your chance Marco!! she wants that transfer!!! Arthur and Sophie aren’t here!! and no one can stop you!!!!” Selicia tried to tease him as Marco sighed.

After gulping her breath a few times, Carla was all red looking aside.

“W-Well, I don’t mind doing it. If it’s just for transfer!!!” She yelled all flustered about what Marco said.

“Could you wait for a second? I'll be back” Marco said as he took a deep breath and fell on the ground after that.

Carla was startled more as she was cautious of what he would do.

As he fell, Marco went instantly to the palace right to Selicia, he bound her with chains and erased any attempt of running away after spanking her ass a few times as a punishment.

“Sorry!!” she shouted but Marco was already back to his body.

He stood again as Carla was far tired to move and check on him, he sighed looking at the flustered Carla trying to hide her blush. he approached her then took a deep breath, she let a gentle sweet voice out of desperation then she noticed a green light as she looked at Marco’s arm warped by dark green aura, it was pure euro particles.

Marco patted her head letting the euro particles flow inside her body.

“I’m not willing to do anything, also I recently learned to do this” He tried to calm her down “We are partners so I can’t lay a hand on you, also I’m not that naughty like you, ghuuu!!”

As he finished his words Marco got a kick right to the jaw by Carla who was having a tearful blushy face.

“I was only thinking about transferring and you are thinking about naughty things!! also who wants to do it with a mama like guy. you’re the worst!!!” she yelled right at his face as she went to her room.

Marco took a deep breath then sighed laying on the ground.

After an hour, she went ahead to the restaurant. Marco saw her going but didn’t follow her.

“What are you doing now?” Hana said as she entered right after Carla left.

“Been a while since I saw you and you are trying to figure what happened?” Marco replied.

“Well, I don’t wanna think about it, so the hunting is making you tired?” Hana answered with a smug face.

“Not really, she was the tired one and I only suggested a transfer of euro particles, she thought I was talking about the intercourse thing. Anyway, any good news?” Marco briefly explained things as Hana took a seat next to him on the ground.

“Well, nothing much. I told my parents that you would start searching or something but they said it’s better if we let it the way it is. The council could dig deep in a lot of things if you move in a suspicious way, for now let the problems away from the house” Hana was talking seriously as Marco started sighing and turning around as if he was bored.

“Tell Gullen and Wellia san, I’m grateful to what they’re doing”.

Marco stood fixing his glasses and rubbing his hair a little bit, Hana smiled at him.

“Well, you gotta start thinking about what you will do to that hair of yours, want me to brush it for you” she said changing the subject.

“Unbelievable!! He said it right to me and made me think about a lot of things!! that bastard will pay for it!!” Carla said as she was working.

The people were listening to her with a sigh as they saw a wild girl talking to herself.

“Carla!!!” Alice shouted in the middle of the room, pissed off.

“Hai!!” Carla replied with a furious voice.

“You’re gonna take the rest of the day off, otherwise don’t expect me to not kick your ass later!!!” Alice was strict to the point where the customers giggled at her words.

“Hai, I’ll go to see what Alex senpai is doing. Sheesh!!! I was just explaining myself” Carla murmured then got her head smacked by a bottle of water.

Alice had thrown that bottle.

“Sorry!! I’ll head home!!” Carla spoke as she was upset.

After a short walk, Carla reached the house but didn’t want to enter because she was ashamed of how Marco could respond to her words after what she did.

“I-I’m back!!” She entered casually and went to the living room.

She was confused from what she saw since she found it cliché that Marco didn’t respond to her.

“ah, you returned. well, I knew that Alice senpai would tell you to return home” Marco said as he was sitting on the couch calmly.

“Oh! Carla chan!!! welcome back!!” Hana responded as she was next to Marco.

“What are you doing? Both of you?!!” Carla instantly asked.

“ah, you get it too!! I took the chance to try this kind of stuff on him. since he never tends to brush his hair, I’m trying to figure out a tie that will make him look like a girl” Hana responded naturally as Marco punched her in the face for her response.

“Sigh, you are relaxing here and you made my day look really awful, next time speak up before you lose consciousness like that” Carla said as she took a seat next to Hana.

“Well, it’s already dinner time so let me move to get some food over now?” Marco asked them as he was getting anxious by their actions.

Both Hana and Carla took a long time brushing his hair and trying everything on Marco’s hair.

“Don’t move yet! I’m close to getting the perfect girly hairstyle for you!!” Carla was really immersed in what she was doing as she took her plenty of time to do whatever she wanted with his hair.

“Done!!!” Carla shouted in his ear as she stood with the brush and a smug face.

“Well. I don’t mind leaving it this way, still if Sophie wanted to brush it, I’ll leave it to her to choose” Marco said as he was looking in the mirror checking on his hair.

Marco thought it wasn’t really long to get really brushed so he left the way he always wakes up, and since he made Carla feel flustered he asked Hana to act like she was brushing his hair so Carla would forget about what happened.

After eating dinner and seeing Hana off to her house, Marco and Carla closed the door so they could go scouting the areas first.

“Say, what kind of things did master Emilis do to keep these monsters away?” Marco asked as they were killing off a big grizzly.

“Well, he was kinda letting a strong euro pressure or something like that” Carla replied after checking the rest of the area.

“It’s not like we don’t know about what he was doing. but he himself was having a hard time pushing them away” Alice said as she met with them.

Marco sighed “I don’t mind doing it right now. Cause I have boundless energy and kinda want to take a rest”.

“Huh?! What are you speak….ing about?” Carla said as she suddenly felt a high euro pressure from a monster.

“That’s a dangerous one I guess, I’ll take care of it” Alice said as she was clenching her fists.

The monster seemed to not have a particular shape as it was a ghost type, therefore it left a devastatic pressure on the area which made even Alice sweat a little while facing it.
