I start working on weapons… I've already started designing a few but with Greed's help I can now make far more intricate weapons. I start making the mana canisters. I'll need to add to a few of the weapons. After I make the mana canisters, I'll finish the weapons that involve them first. Starting with Epieoth's.
His weapon is a scythe. I hollowed out the snath of the scythe so a bullet could be fired from it. Like my gunsword. The chamber is much bigger than mine though. I used treant wood as the snath and enchanted it with control nature. Then infused anti magic runes with control nature. Finally casting control nature on it to make it even stronger. The wood is as strong as my totem swords now.
Testing the ranged portion of it… IS DEADLY! The burst from using the canister launches the bullet out so fast it goes through ten walls strengthened with control nature. The blast is strong enough to knock me off my feet and pull the weapon out of my hands. Any normal person would never be able to use it.
Finally, I add the scythe blade to the end. The beard and toe have both been strengthened and modified. The toe or tip of the blade is sharp and pointed to be used as a spear. While the beard or part closest to the wood has a saw blade function on it. So that if a person moves into the attack to try and avoid it, Epieoth can move it towards them for it to dig into them. His new weapon is called the scytherifle.
Next is Brick. His weapon also requires mana canisters. Brick doesn't really use weapons in his fighting style. So I made one that uses elements to his advantage. Gauntlets made from hardened, folded steel.
Above each knuckle is a metal tube. That can hold either rocks or bullets. Firing one doesn't cause much kickback. Firing all four would be very similar to the kickback of Epieoths weapon though. I doubt Brick will have any problems shooting all four at once though. His weapon will be called the hand cannon.
I also make two void storage rings for him. Filling both up with enchanted control nature strengthened rocks. He wont easily run out of ammo now for his ranged attacks. The rings will also make his punches even heavier when they're filled with rocks.
I make another gunsword for Gobber. And redesign mine to fit the exact same size of mana canister as his to uniform the ammo we'll need. This will replace his giant crossbow.
I move onto Gobbers next weapon. Mimicking Gears drill formation, I'm going to make him a replacement sword similar to that. It takes over an entire day to make a giant long, thin drill. I tried to explain it to the blacksmiths but they didn't understand what I wanted made. Forcing me to make it myself. Instead of using the mana canister for an explosion, it is used as a fuel source.
The main difference is the switch activating it. You don't use mana to set it off, you use a switch to activate the machinery added to it. The mana powers it once it starts running automatically. The engineering parts of the sword work in conjuction with being powered by the mana canister. Powering the sword makes it spin very fast. As fast as Gear's shields… I'm glad this worked or I would have had to make an automaton for the sole purpose of being a weapon for Gobber.
Testing it out I use it against the wall. I can easily push the entire sword into the control nature strengthened wall. I wont be able to defend against his attacks once he activates this. I doubt Gear's shields could stand to the drills pressure. Gobber's weapon might be unblockable. To strengthen it even further I add a mithril tip to it… I can't wait to get adamantine to strengthen it even further. I call this new weapon a drill rapier.
I make the mage staffs next. I'm going to make each of them necklaces and enchanted staffs. The staffs will use mana canisters to fire out nine arrows at once. The reason I'm using arrows is they're slightly easier to work with than guns. Far less kickback. Meaning I can use smaller mana canisters to fire each arrow. Still firing nine arrows at once still would pack a punch.
The reason I'm using necklaces is so that mana explosions don't happen from the rings rubbing against the rare staffs. I make each staff out of several treants if I can. If not I make the top portion where the arrows will be fired from out of treant wood. The staffs look a bit silly. Thin on the bottom with a big end to it where the arrows are. It suits the purpose though. The arrows have to be loaded manually after firing though, so it is a one use per fight kind of weapon.
Most of the staffs were enchanted with increased radius. Leaf's was enchanted with improved summoning and increased radius. Finally their necklaces were all designed for the two classes they used the most. Pokodo was given a white mage necklace already, I added nature magic to it. Gargarz had a ring with two effects already. Just putting the ring on a string around his neck is enough to make it into a necklace.
Casters were by far the easiest to design for. Most of their equipment is uniform and easily interchangeable with each other. Except Leaf's… Hers has the most attention to detail. I call the new weapons cross-bo-staffs.
Next I designed the Gear mk2 Trice is going to use. I try to make it different from mine. The biggest thing I lacked was defense so mine is defensive. Trice's biggest problem is offensive power. Ranged attacks especially. The automaton I made from her was an archer/fighter. I tried teaching it many other classes like blue mage. Those were the first two it could learn that would suit Trice's fighting style.
Like the other archer automatons, Gear mk2 had six arms. Sll with crossbows on them. Hidden blades underneath the arms too. The biggest difference was that inside each arm of the mk2 was hollowed out. Using some of the remaining treant wood for strength, I added guns to her Gear. Trice had thought of several formations to use as well.
Starting the fight the mk2 would be holding six poison vials. Yelling "Fire!" would fire the mk2's crossbow arms. Yelling "Throw!" would throw the vials of poison. Yelling "Shoot!" would fire the mk2's arms. Finally, yelling "Attack!" would switch to the mk2's hidden blades to move in to attack.
Because of Trice's classes, I made the arms more flexible and less sturdy than my Gear. It will allow the mk2 to aim while Trice is running away and swing the blades faster. I hollowed out the body of the gear and it will use that as an item holder. Adding in a void bag it can pull out an incredible amount of bolts and vials of poison. It can also reload its own guns. The way that Gear mk2 is designed, it soaks up a lot of the kickback from the guns.
Moving on. I make two halberds for Zergnar. The halberds sizes can be adjusted to suit his needs. It uses a spring loaded button inside to adjust the size. Pushing the spring loaded button in you can pull the spear inside out more or less depending on preference. All the way from being the size of hatchets with spear tips on them. To being longer than the current spear he is using. Berserkers can use axes very well and it will open up even more attacks to him. His dual halberds are called twinberds.
He also lacks ranged attacks. So I made him several throwing tomahawks to use for ranged. I always thought axes would suit Zergnar better. Designing weapons around that helped me pick the weapons he would use.
For Lance, until he gains his heirloom weapon he'll need a new spear. I design a drillance for him. Similar to Gobber's drill rapier. Just… The size of a lance, it is slightly different than a spear but it works for Lance. Powering it takes more than Gobber's. Each person should carry around a few mana canisters from now on. Even without being powered, they're still extremely deadly weapons though.
Moving onto Lance's ranged weapons. He's been using spears with most of the handles cut off as throwing weapons. I designed spears for him that are more similar to arrows than spears. He was losing a lot of power from his throws balancing the spears. These are far more aerodynamic and lighter.
Finally using something similar Zergnar's spear. I make one specialty spearrow that expands when it's thrown to the size of a regular spear. The parts inside auto separate as far as possible before the spear stops expanding. Sort of like a last resort if everything else fails.
I make Lance a special pair of boots too. These boots have eight enchanted void storage rings embedded on the bottoms of them. Each ring has a block he can form and step on to give him extra mobility in the air. In the forming process for material from the rings they aren't being pulled by gravity for a split second. With practice Lance should be able to use this to a tremendous advantage. I doubt Zergnar could ever use them properly so I don't make him a set. If he complains about Lance getting special treatment I'll make him a pair as well... Never mind, I just make Zergnar a pair anyways.

Switching to my two thieves. I design a few weapons for Leon and Nargzar. I don't know which one will get which weapon though. It's more of a fit their personality choice than anything else. I design four weapons.
Starting with two pieces of wood. I make some chain and attach them together by it. Then affix two different types of blades to it. One is a regular pointed out blade while the other is a scythe type blade. The chain is around five feet long so you can swing the weapon to use it at range.
The chain can be shortened and the scythe blade can be pointed straight upwards like the other end. By doing this you can use them as bladed nun chucks. I call this weapon the bladechucks in melee form. The ranged form is called a kurasi kama… I thank Greed for me learning how to create this weapon. This as well as the next few weapons will be very difficult to learn how to use.
The next weapon starts with another two pieces of wood. The wood has handles to grab onto and blades on the outside of the wood. The weapon is called a bladetonfas. While not nearly as special as the above mentioned weapon. This one would be far easier to use, learn and master. It would also pair well with the next weapon.
Starting with three ten foot long pieces of thin wire. I start to wrap them together. Every few inches adding in a sharp piece of metal to it. Twisting the metal so it wouldn't fall out. Doing this the entire length of the metal I make an eight foot long spiked whip. I name it tanglewhip.
This weapon could be used together with the bladetonfas. I even added an attachment to both the tonfa handles so you could add the whip to either one. Spinning would fling the tanglewhip out enough to tangle your enemies so you could move in to kill with the tonfas.
The last few weapons I made were shurikens. Many of different sized ones. Ranging from the extremely small to the size of someones entire arm. The biggest problem with throwing knives is even if you're skilled with them. They can possibly not deal any damage because the handle will hit. I could even make holders for the shurikens that would allow you to throw multiple shurikens all at once.
I'll make one for every single one of my generals… Meaning I need to make like five hundred shurikens to have enough for a few reloads for each general. The launcher will hold ten at one time. Just swinging it and pressing a button at the right time will release them. The mages will definitely need to practice but I doubt anyone else will have any problems using them. I call these shuriken launchers.
Moving onto my pets. Sock is the most important to protect since he is the most likely to be targeted. I designed a set of gear with the visual distortion enchant. It will be able to change for all his forms. The gauntlet I made to replace his weapon has claws on them. It will allow him to continue to attack with a weapon even if he changes forms. He should be getting very close to ranking up druid though. Morpheus and Darkclaw have a similar set of gear to Sock.
I made a miniature version of the cross-bo-staff for Blue. It could fire four crossbow bolts instead and is much smaller. I also made him a custom set of gear which doesn't do anything special… Just gives him more defense against attacks.
I move onto making the new shields for my tank generals. Each shield will be uniform like the staffs for the mages. Each shield was made with the remaining treant wood. Thankfully we collected a lot from the raid boss. I knew exactly how important it was.
Strengthening it with the enchanted control nature and then using regular control nature. Double strengthening each shield. I add a damage reduction gem to each shield. I shave each end down and add a mithril tip to the top of each shield. This will allow them to use the shields as a weapon if needed. If you spin the shield you can expand it up to two times. Making each shield big enough to cover more than the defenders entire body if they crouched.
Finally! I get to the changes I've made to my own and Gear's gear. I added something similar to the mk2 to gear. The void bag storage in his stomach to fill his hands. He'll be able to hold one of each of the shuriken launchers in each hand. Launching sixty shurikens all at once. I'll give Trice the same idea. My Gear will do it with me yelling "Retrieve formation!" to get the loaded shuriken launchers from void storage. Then yelling "Throw formation!" to launch them… Using it and shotgun formation together would result in an intense amount of projectiles at once.
I also made reloading the arrows in his arms easier and added the same function of firing them as Trices mk2. The mana canisters completely replaced the need for wind scrolls. That being said, my knife cannons have been replaced with mana canisters instead of wind scrolls too. The double barrel knife cannons, under my arms were the easiest to change. They are both attached to my body and were reinforced already.
The knives cannon was the hardest to fix. The metal I was using was too thin, adding more metal made it very heavy and harder to use. Finally I decided on a similar design to the cross-bo-staffs. Attaching an expandable handle to it, I could wield it with both hands. The knives cannon is still my strongest attack. Well, my strongest attack that doesn't use chi anyways.
I made a special void ring for myself. It was a false tooth for inside of my mouth. With my new fire breath and my other bad breath attack. I need a way to use them better. So inside the void ring I can store wind scrolls. It would also help keep items hidden in situations where it would be helpful. The biggest asset to my fighting style is the element of surprise. Testing it, I could combine the fire breath with a single poison or debuff from bad breath. Using a wind scroll while breathing increased the size and damage of my fire debuff breath.
I make two different matching sets of gear for each one of my generals. One for melee and one for casters. For melee, each set of gear has four layers. I make a set for myself as well. The mithril chest piece worked well until now but I've used a lot of it for weapon tips.
First layer is silk enchanted with warding magic. Second layer is supple leather enchanted with rare self repair. Third layer is steel. It is only in area's that need extra protection. The steel is enchanted with shell magic. Finally the last layer is basilisk scales. Only on the top portion of the armor. The basilisk scales are enchanted with both self repairing and lightweight. I had to synthesize each plate after adding the rare enchant to two separate ones. It will help keep the gear from being destroyed for longer.
The gear for the mages is different. It has three layers. First layer is spider silk. Enchanted with the rare enchants for mana regen and increased magic radius. The next layer is cloth. If the magic user has an heirloom robe it is used. Heirlooms work differently than other rares. Anything indestructible doesn't cause mana feedback if rubbed against other rares. Finally the last layer is double enchanted supple leather armor. Enchanted with lightweight and self repair.
Finally I make a set of boots for each person. Depending on what they do. I add two rare effects to each pair. Every single set has the rare movement speed increase. The second enchant is the regen effect from movement that fits them best. Either mana, rage or energy. Lance and Zergnar already have special boots made so they don't get another set.
Making all the weapons takes… A very long time. Over two weeks of designing and making a few prototypes of some of the harder to use weapons. Then completing each new weapon. Some of the demon tribe have been looking at me with weird expressions… I'm not sure why, I'll put all the new weapons in a single room… Seeing them all looks very impressive, I go and get my generals to show their new equipment.
