It's been two more months. Brick will be leaving soon and I still haven't convinced him to show me elementalist yet… Maybe if I get on my hands and knees and beg him he will. Lessons are all going along smoothly, I managed to finish the book on continental towns and landmarks. I've got an idea of what I'm going to do after I graduate now. Lessons end like normal, it turns to night time and after my normal routine and everyone's asleep I put my plan into action.
Making a false body with pillows under my blanket I sneak out of the room. The hallways are completely barren with no one in sight. I sneak towards the library which doesn't have a door. It has a huge oval shaped entrance so even some of the non human races could have access to the library. There are only a few at the school but the biggest is a golem.
He gained sentience after his master died and spent the next hundred years getting attacked by everything until it managed to learn how to speak from the few encounters it had with people. It managed to become a well known tank for adventurers wanting to clear dungeons. It found out it had the ability to learn multiple classes like myself so that's why its here at the magic academy.
His speed of learning is much slower then mine though. He's been here for over five years and has only managed to pick up white magic. He hasn't been able to learn any jobs yet so he probably wont ever be able too. I think I remember his name being Rock...The first time I seen him I thought Brick had evolved into his next form!… Joking aside I head into the library.
I head to the back of the room where I find the automatons all standing close to each other, lifeless. The way you power the automatons is by charging them with magic and the more you use the longer it lasts. The librarian happens to be a dark mage which is one of the black mages class rank-ups. Pouring all his magic in would make the dolls explode. So he only uses half and that's enough to power them all day.
There's four so he comes in an hour early and powers up the first two before school starts and two as soon as school starts. I start too closely inspect one of the automatons. It looks like a five year old child's size. One or two feet shorter then me, even so I bet it would put up a decent fight if it was set to combat mode. I start to disassemble the first automaton. No new job, I do the same with the next and same result. I start to get nervous on the third doll I finally see it.
Job learned Automaton Creator
Yes! There's still two more hours before the professor comes in to power them up. I've brought some wood with me just in case I accidentally broke something deconstructing it and I start to repair the automatons...It takes an hour to put one back together...Shit! I'm not going to have enough time to repair all of these I think. I start putting the next one back together while trying to think of a plan.
Once the second dolls fully repaired I move the last one I wouldn't have time to fix it. So I move it under a book case and push the bookcase over onto the automaton.
“I'm sorry books, I'm sorry automaton.” I think to myself.
It crushes some of its parts, I quickly leave and as I'm exiting the entrance I see the librarian. Thank you scouting! I'm already sneaking so I head the opposite way. I apply disguise to make the school robe turn into pure black to be concealed better by the morning shadows.
As I round the corner I hear from a distance. “What the hell!?”
I made it back to my room to get rid of the pillows I placed to make a fake me. Then I head out of the school to feign innocence that I went on my morning run like always. As I head passed the library before my first lesson I can see the headmaster in the corner of my eye looking at the dolls.
First period was normal like always. I half expected the headmaster to come in for me during the lesson though. The rest of the school passed just like normal as well. Not wanting to break my routine I head to the library to study and see the librarian. He's very calm one of the automatons is still moving books from the front back to there original position.
I make an off-handed remark about the automatons to him and he said.
“They were old, some of them started to preform very poorly. Some had gotten to the point where if I had put more than 20% of my mana into 1, it would risk it blowing up. Another 1 must has went haywire in the night and ran into a bookcase it was crushed by. We only have 2 to work with the books until the headmaster can find time to make new ones.”
A little disheartened mine aren't even half as good as the headmasters. I feel relieved I wasn't caught then I get a notification.

Title Criminal- able to more easily get away with crimes
With that out of the way, I move onto the last event I want to accomplish this year. Getting Brick to teach me elementalist. I head straight up to him get down on my knees and beg.
“Please Brick can you please show me how to do elemental magic!”
He walks over me towards the cafeteria. I keep begging him all the way there until he starts getting frustrated and asks.
“What, why do you want to know it so bad? It can't help you right now anyways.”
Last ditch effort I'm going to tell him about my class.
“Can we speak in private Brick?” I ask.
He agrees to meet me after dinner. It takes him longer to eat than me since he's around four times my weight he needs to eat five times as much as I do. So I wait by the courtyard where most people do skirmishes for Brick.
He finally shows up twenty minutes after I finished eating and I tell him.
“Brick I have a special class.”
There are sixteen weird students in the school out of a few hundred. Rock, Brick, Leaf, me and twelve others. Rock and Brick are self explanatory. Me and Leaf are different also because of our hair colors and skills. While my hair is dark red like my mothers. Leaf has green colored hair which would explain her name.
Leaf is also far above every other summoner in skill. She could have been put as a third year student. I'm the opposite. The teachers reprimand my skill, that it should be much higher with the work I've put in.
The other weird students are all non humans. A few elves, dwarves, beast races and even a demon race is at this school.
Beast races are human like people with animal like features. A couple of cat and dog hybrid's, a tiger hybrid and a lion hybrid make up the beast races. The demon race has a horn growing out of his head. His skin is almost the same color as my hair, dark red. He has pitch black eyes with blue pupils.
The lion hybrids name is Leo. He often picks fights with the demon race student who reads whenever he is not in classes. Both are third year students and the top of the classes they're in. The demon's name is Epieoth.
The cat hybrids and dog hybrids are constantly fighting. Not to the extent of anyone dieing but a few times someone needed to go to the emergence ward if there wasn't a spare healer around.
The reason I'm mentioning this now is because Leo and Epieoth are fighting in the courtyard.
Brick starts to show me all the different types of attacks while explaining.
“Elementalists aren't that strong by themselves but they can augment the power of other mages in your party. They use nature in a much smaller extent then other classes like black mage or nature mage.”
Brick says as he pulls a chunk of rock out of the ground with his elementalist ability.
“Because of this elementalists can't learn any other types of magic, the class just wont allow you to.”
He punches the piece of rock at a target and it hits.
“But that's where it comes in handy as a support magic. If you have a mage channeling lighting magic. You can make the ground wet to increase his damage and also might make the opponent slip.”
As he says that a puddle forms under my feet and I start to sink into the ground.
“Not only can you do that but with enough practice you can also use all the elements together to create unique situations.”
The water at my feet is now running up my body and the ground that was just wet starts to harden locking my feet to the ground temporarily. He runs at me and pushes me to the ground which is now soaked and as I sink into the ground it becomes hard again, almost locking me in place.
“Everything compounds onto everything as an elementalist. A fireball can be given a burst of wind to increase its size. An ice bolt can be shot at a wet opponent for extra effect. Its the best support magic in my opinion.”
With that said he gets up and walks out of the courtyard....I'm still stuck in the ground...
Class learned Elementalist- passive skill Control elements- have slight control over all four elements earth, fire, wind, water, passive increase to experience gained
