Chapter 912

"This

is for you."

As Nala took out a box for him, Felix was confused.

"Who is it from?"

"Aiden."

Aiden? Felix's confusion deepened.

"Why would he send me something?"

Shaking her head, Nala explained, "I'm not entirely sure, but he made it clear that if you accept this, it'll settle the debt of him owing you a favor for saving his life. After that, you're even. No favors owed, no strings attached.

"Honestly, for someone as arrogant as Aiden, he does have a shred of honor in him at times." "Repaying a life-saving favor with a mere box? Isn't that a bit too arrogant?" Felix thought to himself. However, Felix didn't care. If it had just been him and Aiden in the courtyard yesterday, there was no way he would've stepped in. The hatred between them was too deep-who in their right mind would save their enemy?

Yet, yesterday's circumstances left him no choice. With so many people around, even headquarters had taken notice. Could they really have skipped over Aiden's antidote pill? That wouldn't have made any

sense.

Whether or not Aiden repaid him for saving his life, Felix couldn't care less. In the end, they would fight each other anyway, so gratitude was meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

"Throw it away," he said, turning to leave.

Just as he was about to step forward, Nala grabbed his arm.

"Let's take a look first. Based on what I know of Aiden, he wouldn't take something like this lightly." Frowning, Felix hesitated before finally opening the box. Inside was a card and a USB drive. The handwriting on the card was unmistakably Aiden's.

"Felix, I have never owed anyone

anything in my life-let alone a debt for saving my life. This USB drive settles that debt. Even your father, Victor believed this drive had been destroyed by your grandmother. In reality, it's been kept intact all along.

"Once you see what's on it, you'll understand whether or not it's worth clearing the slate." Information about his biological parents? Felix let out a cold laugh.

"Throw it away for me."

Once again, Nala stopped him.

"Felix, one day you'll be a father, too. While the world isn't without heartless people, most parents put their children above everything else. You've met Victor, even if only briefly. Do you really think he's the kind of man who would abandon his wife and child?" Content Belongs to

Seeing Felix remain silent, Nala pressed on, "Nobody's perfect-we all make mistakes. You've given

plenty of people second chances before. Why not extend that same courtesy to them?

"Just check it out. At the very least, consider this as giving them a chance. What you decide afterward is entirely up to you, and no one can force your hand. Let me grab the laptop for you."noveldrama

Felix had to admit, her words got to him. Sometimes, when he really thought about it, his inability to forgive after all these years was solely because of the hatred he felt

from being abandoned, and it might have been a bit excessive,

Before long, Nala returned, placing the laptop on the table. Without saying another word, she left. She was a smart woman and knew better than to let curiosity take hold in situations like this.

Even though she knew exactly who Felix's biological mother was and had even met her once, she still had to hold herself back.

Felix opened the laptop, picked up the USB drive, and stared at it for a long while before finally inserting it into the computer.

As the drive loaded, the cursor moved toward the folder, but he suddenly noticed his right hand trembling slightly.

"Am I scared? Or just nervous?"

He sighed, then double-clicked to open the folder. Inside, there was only one video.

"Our sweetheart's finally 100 days old!"
