Chapter 910

"I know you have something that can counteract this poison, Nala. Name your price," Aiden's voice suddenly rang out, prompting Nala to sneer.

"Then, would you be willing to die for it?"

After a brief silence, Aiden's tone grew much colder. "So, you intend to tie yourself to Felix. It's true that I can't touch you. But that doesn't mean Felix is off limits."

Nala glanced over at Aiden, who was sitting cross-legged a distance away, and responded, "You and Felix are both prodigies, but do you know what sets the two of you apart?

"One of you can set aside your hatred to fight with everything you have to save lives, while the other is still talking about killing. That reason alone is why you'll never measure up to him!"

Time kept passing on, and the tension continued to escalate. They waited from nightfall till dawn. Now with the sun setting again, everyone began to panic.

"Mr. Morris, there's only one hour left. What do we do now?"

Silas looked at the nearly exhausted Lemuel and grew anxious. If Felix failed, they would have to watch more than 60 people die right before their eyes.

"It all depends on Felix now. There's nothing more I can do."

It seemed like it took all his strength to even utter a word. He could no longer suppress the toxins in all these people any longer.

After all, there were more than 60 people present. Lemuel had to continuously treat each one with acupuncture. He was no god. As a human being, of course, he'd be tired.

"No! I don't want to die!"

"Please, I'm only 20 years old. I don't want to die, either."

"Mom, Dad, I'm sorry. I won't be able to care for you in your old age."

Cries of despair echoed through the courtyard. It wasn't just the ordinary folk who were breaking down.

Some martial artists could also no longer hold back their emotions.

A quick death would've been easier to accept. But to be slowly consumed by death and despair was truly torturous.

"To think that I, Ocean Whit, would die in such a pathetic way."

Aiden, who was sitting next to him, didn't know what to say. So, he kept his gaze focused on the room in the distance. It was clear what was going through his mind.

"I'll only wait for 30 more minutes, Felix."

Nala was also waiting. If Felix remained unresponsive after 30 minutes, she would storm in, and no one would stand in her way.

Just then, the door opened. Felix carried a tub in his right hand, his face deathly pale.

"Quick. Give each person a pill. I've already taken one myself, so don't worry about me."

The moment the final syllable left his lips, he collapsed backward.

Hector caught him just in time. "I'll leave it to you, Cairo."

Cairo nodded and immediately sprang into action after he took the tub.

Nala and Xena simultaneously ran to Felix's side.

"Felix!" both women cried out in unison, their eyes filled with identical expressions of heartache and concern.

"He's fine, just severely drained. He'll recover after some rest," Silas said after checking Felix's pulse. His words allowed the two women to breathe a sigh of relief. noveldrama

"My God! It's really working."

After everyone took the pills, Ronan was the first to leap up. As a martial artist, he had a keen sense of his body and could make a rough judgment as to whether or not the toxins had been neutralized.

"He truly is a master healer!"

No one disagreed with his

statement. Felix had saved the lives of more than 60 people through his own efforts. This act of turning the tide might just go down in history.

Aiden's expression grew complicated as he stared at his hands. It was unthinkable that Felix, his sworn

enemy, had saved him.
