Several missiles rushed at Nash. Without hesitation, he summoned his sword and sliced through them, destroying them all.

The fighter jets cut through the smoke and continued to approach the plane. Nash summoned the Shura Sky-Piercing Spear and stabbed it forward, taking down two fighter jets. He followed up with another strike, slicing the foremost plane in half. However, from the wreckage emerged several ModHumans, each with wings as they approached to attack. Nash did not hesitate and shot them down one by one. Despite his efforts, the ModHumans were numerous and unending.

Realizing the situation was dire, Nash channeled true energy into the spear. He jumped off the plane to block the incoming ModHumans. Sensing that the plane had moved beyond his range of attack, he unleashed the spear's energy, turning all the surrounding ModHumans into nothing.

To his surprise, a few planes were still coming from behind. An airship had even appeared from above.

Nash was feeling the strain. While eliminating the Mod Humans was straightforward, their sheer numbers were overwhelming. His previous attack had only made a small dent.

A relentless wave of ModHumans continued to surge toward him, and he could only hold them off alone. Ultimately, Nash struggled against such a massive onslaught even with his formidable skills.

The airship drew closer to the aircraft carrying the Florentine brothers. Nash had to return to the plane and prepare for the next wave of attack.

The airship then dropped a missile. Nash sliced it mid-air, causing it to explode, but the resulting smoke was unusually thick.

Nash suspected that this might be a diversion, and his suspicion proved correct as countless ModHumans used the cover of smoke to advance toward the plane. Nash unleashed attacks to clear the smoke, but it did not eliminate the ModHumans. Some of them were already near the aircraft.

Realizing the need to increase his speed to counter the ModHumans' fast approach, Nash devised a new plan to accelerate his movements.

"Almost there!" he shouted, releasing the Shura Sky-Piercing's power into the thruster.

The spear did propel the plane forward by a short distance, and the passengers inside felt a jolt as the plane shifted.

Nash managed to temporarily shake

off the ModHumans. However, when

he was shoving the spear into the plane's propellor system, several ModHumans managed to reach the top of the plane. Nash focused on the nearest modified human and realized with a shock that it was Tomaz.

Tomaz's entire body was now covered in muscle, and his pale eyes seemed to hold traces of tears. Without hesitation, Nash dealt with Tomaz and the other ModHumans, leaving their bodies behind noveldrama

When he was examining Tomaz's body, he noticed that he appeared to be apologizing to his daughter.
