Chapter 2325

Jada rolled her eyes. "Who do you think you are, questioning me? I've been working for Mr. Frankton way longer than you know him!"

"And what does that have to do with character?" Sue retorted. "Give it a rest, Ms. Turin-your argument doesn't hold water."

She had always been fearless, and since Jada provoked her, she stood akimbo, ready for a fight.

She might be an heiress, but Tim Fisher did not really put an effort in his children's upbringing. It was why Sue did not have the bearing of an heiress and resembled a petulant child if she got upset.

Frank smiled in wry amusement, seeing things tense up between the pair. "May I have some peace and quiet, ladies?"

And whatever the reason they had to argue, both Sue and Jada owed Frank respect, so they returned to their own seats.

The ensuing lasted just a couple of minutes, until Callie Wright entered. "Hey, handsome. My boss would like to see you. Let's go!"

She clearly acted like she was Frank's superior, turning to leave without waiting.

Jada was seething. "What do you think you're doing? You're disrespecting Mr. Frankton!"

Callie heard her but did not argue although Jada was right, though she had the right to disrespect Frank. "Why get so hung up over that? Let's just go with her and see what her boss is up to." Frank chuckled and took Jada and Sue with him, since the latter was not going to be a bother anyway.

They followed Callie to a rundown building the center of town, where Donnie Ingram, Tim Fisher, and plenty of other bigwigs from here and elsewhere were gathered. Sayna Quill was there too, but she had her head held high, while the rest were hanging their heads in silence.

They all stood behind a single armchair, where a blonde woman sat with her back to them.

Towering bodyguards with similar blond hair and blue eyes stood around, making her look like an heiress to a mobster family instead of a business dynasty.

Callie walked up to the woman and whispered, "He's here, ma'am!"

The woman smiled, her alluring lips twitching.

As if on cue, her bodyguards strode over to Donnie and the others, ruthlessly smacking them across the face!

Frank did not care about the out-of-state investors who messed with Frankton Group, but he cared about Donnie.

In a flash, he leapt toward the bodyguard about to hit Donnie, seizing his wrist and crushing it as he clenched.

The bodyguard screamed, which stopped the other bodyguards, and they turned toward Frank. The other bigwigs who were already slapped turned, glaring fixedly at the blonde woman on the armchair. They had come under invitation like Frank, only to get slapped as if their status did not matter!

Business folk like them might be cunning and ruthless. However, they never went too far like this, and it was completely unnecessary when their adversary was so much richer than them.

Sadly for them, these people were savages and did not care about such unwritten rules!

"What are you spacing out for? Go!"

The blonde woman snapped with a thick accent at the bodyguards, who wasted no time charging at Frank.

Even before they fought, Frank knew that they were good-having at least reached the Ascendant rank. Sadly for them, they were no match for him, and they were all embedded into the wall soon enough. noveldrama

Striding up to the blonde woman, he found himself staring into a chiseled cheek that had a firm but attractive sense of beauty.

He then glanced at Callie. "So this is the party you spoke of?"

Callie shrugged, while the woman

laughed coolly. "That's such a cheap move. Did you think I'd submit just because you beat up those goons? Why don't you ask if they do too? Violence solves nothing!"

"Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Mary, like the cocktail!"
