This time, no one could stay calm.

They had rejected Sue's proposal before because leaving was no problem. But now that they had taken Sue's money, they would be humiliated.

Frank ignored her and stared at the stone table in the middle of the shack.

It was as large as a marching drum and solid, weighing at least over a thousand pounds.

However, Frank lifted it easily by holding on to the edge, moving it aside.

If it did not kick up a few feet worth of dust as Frank dropped it, Sue would have thought it was not actually solid stone.

"Why don't you take part in the Olympics?" she asked. "With that strength, anyone would enjoy fame and money."noveldrama

Frank ignored her as he turned to see the stone table, which was hiding a circular passage around five feet wide.

He did not hesitate to leap down, landing after half a minute of free fall. The ring lit up at the same time, and he quickly spotted a box in the southeastern corner.

Frank opened it to find a necklace laying still within but did not touch it since he sensed something unusual about it.

Almost at the same time, Frank felt gravity disappear as he was taken to the void once again, staring at the golden dragon who laughed. "What a surprise. I thought it'd be a while before we met again."

"The last time we met was when I was dying. Is that the reason why we're meeting again so soon?" Frank asked.

He was hoping to find a pattern to when the golden dragon showed up, so that he could talk to it anytime he wanted.

The golden dragon laughed and did not offer any explanation, though Frank understood anyway.

As soon as the golden dragon finished, it disappeared before Frank could ask further questions. Frank rolled his eyes-what a pompous creature!

Nonetheless, he was soon back in reality.

He put on the necklace but sensed nothing and leapt into the air.

He could fly now with the help of the spiritron vein, and he returned to the surface.

"That's so cool!" Sue held a thumbs-up at him again and noticed the necklace. "What's that?"

It was not pretty or sparkling, and it was dormant like it had been sleeping for centuries.

"I don't know. I need someone else to find out!"

Since the golden dragon had said

the necklace belonged to his previous master and did not know what secrets were kept inside, their only option was to ask Sally for help.

The lady had researched extensively into the spiritron vein, and now that she was on his side, it would be

a waste to not put her talents to work.

"You're leaving?" Sue soon realized what he was getting at.

But that was fine-she had her own legs, and she could follow Frank if he was!
