“What is this magic?” I say aloud, as my stone headed ax cleaves a small tropical tree effortlessly. It poofs into a cloud of dust before a stack of wood and a bundle of fibers are flashed away, by some magic into the sack on my back. “How is any of this possible?” I strike down a few more trees, just to try out the tool.
“Is that a giant chicken?” I stopped chopping the smaller trees as I watched a giant puffy spherical chicken like beast hop around the grassy area by the trees. It would stop and gaze at some type of bush before feeding from it. “Are those berry bushes?” I decided to wander a bit further inland.
“Are these even safe to eat?” I ask while examining the berry I just picked from a bush. “I already died once, doubt a berry can kill me.” I pop the berry into my mouth. “Not too bad, but not too filling.” I licked my lips imagining the cooking from earlier. “Maybe I can make something like that with some chicken.” I thought while hungrily glaring at the chicken.
“Bawk?” It perks up, suddenly aware of my presence. It spins around and fluffs out its plumage, in an attempt to frighten off a predator.
“Taste my magic ax, you chicken…-” I swung my ax with all my might at the fluffy chicken, it bounced off harmlessly and only pissed it off. “-dinner?” I finished my sentence as my ax hit the ground. “My bad?” I laughed at the angry bird.
“Bawk!” It squawked in anger. A white glow gathered in front of its beak. “Bawk!” It cried out as a glowing ball of glimmering white air came screaming my way at high speeds.
“I’m really regretting my mistake!” I yelled frantically as I rolled to the side.
“Bawwkk!” It cried out as its body glowed the same white color, before it charged with a gust of wind and headbutted me right in the chest. I went rolling back as it hit a tree and knocked itself into a dizzy fit.
“Why is the chicken so strong?” I grunted as I tried to jog away, my chest hurt as I struggled to breath. “How am I supposed to survive here? I bet that thing is bullet proof too.” I joke aloud while trying to ignore the pain a fluffy chick the size of a dog just did to me. I coughed out some dark liquids while I stopped to catch my breath.
“Bawk.” The chicken called out, scanning the area after recovering. Once we locked eyes, it cried out for battle. “Bawk!” It charged once more.

“Seriously?!” I sprinited with all I had to a small cliff, just taller than myself. I rushed myself to climb up to the top, just as the chicken’s cry sounded out and an attack whooshed over my head. “How did Jenny expect me to fight that thing, if my ax doesn’t hurt it…” I huffed while laying on the high ground panting.
“Let’s just focus on getting those materials to fix that tablet device.” I decided on my goal. “While staying alive.” I added when I heard a distant roar. I get up and wander the new terrain. “Nice, lots of berries.” I found a nice little grove of berries, this many should last me till the girls arrive tomorrow.
“Shhh…” I hiss as I quickly duck behind some trees for cover. One of those giant mammoth ambles right in front of me on the beach. The beast is covered with leafy vegetation and three large protruding stones on its back. “Not only is this a small island, but now I have to deal with that beast being here?” I whispered to myself as I crept along the high ground over the coast. To my dismay, it was water-locked.
“Wait, isn’t that Pal the gliding ray?” I call out in excitement as I get up and sprint along the edge of the plateau. “Can I use one of those to get off of here?” I tried to imagine using one as a glider.
“Kwoo.” The light plumpy blue ray called out, as it flapped its fins while floating on the sea breeze.
“How would you even get one of tho-” I tripped while lost in thought on a round object stuck in the ground. “What in the… how?” I just gave up and sighed. “So this is how?” I lifted up a Palsphere, a similar one to the one I saw drop from the corpse. “Do I just throw it at them?”
“Woo!” The Pal cried out while ascending on an updraft.
“Maybe the next one.” I said as I watched the Pal soar off into the distance.
“Now!” I turn around in a huff, with my hands on my hip. “Where are these materials?!” I march off, along the other side of the island. I noticed a weirdly shiny blue rock on the coast, it came with a lovely view of some large snowy mountains. “Magic pickaxe, it’s your turn!” I yell out as I equip my pickaxe to strike at the shiny blue rock clump.
“Ow!” I yelped from the recoil. “This thing is solid.” I notice there is a small glowing sheen like a shell around the cluster. There was a small crack forming. “Huh…” I hit it again, this time with a glancing bowl, so I wouldn’t suffer the full recoil. “Does this mean it works?” I say when I noticed the cracks spreading. “I can do this!” I shout with renewed rigor. My pickaxe clanging away at the rock cluster, making the cracks grow and shine brighter.
“Finally!” I shout as the stone breaks apart with a shattering sound before it dissolves into light particles. “Is this it?” I held up a small piece the size of a golfball that was something like glowing blue granite. “I need how many more of them?” I groaned as I looked around for more clusters.
