Rachel’s spell was crafted with her profound mastery of gray omniscient wisdom. It was a highly targeted spell, meticulously designed to exploit her subtle yet indirect control over the Gray Realm. The intricacy of this spell was extraordinary; it temporarily amplified her incomplete connection to the realm, allowing her to carve out a tiny, infinitesimal fragment of its boundless domain. This feat was nearly impossible for anyone else. Another Rank 14, armed with gray omniscient wisdom mastery, would not be able to replicate it.
The spell’s success hinged on Rachel’s unique connection to the Gray Realm. Through this direct yet delicate link, she was able to snap off a minuscule fragment of its infinite domain. The piece was so small that its absence had no measurable impact on the Gray Realm’s vastness. However, it was enough for Rachel. Seeing the now-ownerless fragment of the realm floating freely, she quickly cast another spell, capturing the piece and absorbing it.
Rachel’s ability to accomplish this was due, in part, to her deep familiarity with the Gray Realm’s domain. Once, she had possessed complete control over it. However, her control was now fractured due to severe injuries sustained by her original body. The body she currently occupied was not the one that had once ruled the Gray Realm nor the one that had narrowly escaped the seal of the creation. As a result, her power was diminished. Yet, she believed that once she ascended to quasi Rank 15, she might be able to reunite with her original form and fully restore her infinite domain.
Rachel’s original body had attained quasi Rank 15—a level at which beings are often considered unkillable, unreachable, and practically invincible. But her injuries had been catastrophic; her portion of the seed of Infinity had been severely damaged, plunging her into a coma.
After swallowing the fragment of the Gray Realm, Rachel closed her eyes and entered a state of intense concentration. She would need to hone her strength and refine this newfound energy.
...
An unknown number of years passed.
Rachel’s eyes opened, glinting with triumph. She smiled, exuding an aura of power.
“Quasi Rank 15!” she laughed. The journey had not been difficult, merely time-consuming. But for Rachel, time was almost irrelevant—a minor inconvenience. She rose to her feet, testing the new extent of her abilities.
With a snap of her fingers, an endless stream of liquid gray energy flowed from her fingertips. In an instant, this energy began to twist and shape, forming an infinite array of universes and layers of reality. This new creation she had crafted was no smaller than the Creation itself—both were infinitely boundless, inexhaustible, and timeless.
Though compared to the gray realm and the creation, her infinity domain was tiny, even the tiniest fragment of infinity held absolute power. In theory, the Creation and the original Gray Realm were far larger domains. But practically, even her small infinite domain matched the strength of both.
“There can be an infinite number of quasi Rank 15s,” Rachel murmured, nodding to herself, “for no matter how tiny an infinite domain is, its power remains equal to any other infinite domain.” She had known this truth for some time, but feeling it firsthand filled her with renewed determination.
“Now that I have an infinite domain of my own, I won’t need to rely on the Gray Realm for my spells,” she thought, a spark of excitement kindling within her. “Still, I’ll hold onto it, hoping that one day I might completely awaken my true body. And perhaps, if I could somehow unite all three infinite domains, I could finally achieve true Rank 15.”
With this thought, Rachel’s vision of her future expanded before her, limitless and filled with potential.
“Let’s first reach Gray Omniscient Mastery in 10,000 different Daos!” Rachel thought, her mind set on achieving the next level of wisdom and power.
Rachel planned to reach omniscient mastery by using the Gray Realm as her foundation. Her own recently created infinity domain—what she now called "Tiny Gray"—was still young and didn’t contain the depth of hidden knowledge needed for her goal. By fully mastering the omniscience of the Gray Realm, she hoped to uncover memories of her past and secrets that had long eluded her.

With a simple act of will, she granted herself omniscient mastery within Tiny Gray infinite domain across all Daos. This step was straightforward; after all, she had absolute control over her own infinity domain. Within Tiny Gray, her authority was absolute—no force could challenge her within her own territory.
As she closed her eyes, Rachel felt no mental burden from the new mastery. Achieving omniscience within Tiny Gray provided her with a wealth of insights into areas where she had long been stuck. However, it yielded nothing truly useful about her past, no revelations that could bridge the gaps in her memory.
“Now I possess quasi-omniscience across all realms within both the Gray Realm and Creation itself,” she reflected. “However, achieving full omniscience within Creation will require Luther’s assistance. For now, let’s focus on reaching Gray Omniscience!”
Being quasi-omniscient in all realms brought her a step closer to this goal. Achieving true Gray Omniscience would still require considerable effort, but now it felt within reach.
...
After an immeasurably long period, even on a cosmic scale…
Rachel opened her eyes. “Finally, I’ve achieved Gray Omniscient Mastery in roughly 10,000 different Daos!” she thought with satisfaction. With only partial control over the Gray Realm, she couldn’t simply will these masteries into existence—they required patience and time. Each Dao demanded a unique process; wisdom mastery, for instance, could be obtained through the mere passage of time, while others, such as refinement, fire, and ice, required additional and often difficult conditions to be met.
“It seems my suspicions were correct—the Creation may never have been a true Rank 15,” she mused. “I’ve always suspected it, but now I’m about 60% certain.” From her memories, she knew that Creation had been infinitely close to Rank 15, but had never quite crossed that threshold.
“I was the reason Creation never truly reached Rank 15,” Rachel thought, piecing together memories from her newly obtained omniscient insights. “I resisted full integration with it, preventing it from passing the threshold. If it had succeeded, Creation would have become truly invincible.”
This wasn’t entirely new information for her, but now she had evidence from fragmented memories recovered through her mastery in ten thousand Daos of the Gray Realm.
“The Seed of Infinity,” she remembered, “is a quasi-Rank 15 artifact with the potential to reach true Rank 15. Only one Seed can ever mature fully and reach this rank, and once it does, all others will disappear forever. At true Rank 15, a Seed becomes invincible, without weakness.” She nodded, having anticipated this.
“The Seed is a mysterious object,” Rachel continued in her thoughts. “It contains an ever-expanding infinity domain, capable of encompassing all existence once matured. But this expansion only occurs if the Seed is complete. The Seed I carried was on the brink of maturity when I broke the seal of creation, preventing it from reaching full growth. If I, Creation, and the Gray Realm were to merge, the Seed would begin expanding again, reaching the all-encompassing infinity of true Rank 15. However, the control of this power would fall to Luther, which holds the largest share. With that control, he could supress both me and the Gray Realm.”
If Luther were to achieve true Rank 15, he would gain ultimate power and authority, which would enable him to exert control over Rachel, even though he couldn’t destroy or seal her entirely. Reaching true Rank 15 would allow him to establish limits on her abilities, restrict her movements, and keep her perpetually beneath him in status and influence.
Understanding this, Rachel realized the extent of Luther’s plan: he intended to keep her in the dark just a little longer. Fortunately, he had underestimated her. The moment she achieved Gray Omniscient Wisdom Mastery, her control over the Gray Realm surged, allowing her to expel him from it completely. Without this surge in power, he might have managed to trap her, sealing her away before she reached quasi-rank 15 again.
"The previous me, the 'Pill Container,' was long corrupted by Luther; she was completely blinded to his true nature. Fortunately, I discarded all aspects of her instead of absorbing her memories," Rachel thought, reflecting on her past self.
The Pill Container version of Rachel had been heavily influenced by Luther’s manipulations for a long time, even considering him a friend. In reality, this was far from the truth. Luther was Rachel’s only true enemy, a threat who would seize any opportunity to consume her power and reduce her to nothing.
"Of course, I still have to negotiate with him," she thought, "though it’s unlikely to lead anywhere. Yet, maybe I can turn this to my advantage." Rachel was well aware that Luther’s greatest concern was preventing the Seed’s destruction. She knew this was his Achilles’ heel, his only vulnerability. And she intended to use this weakness to exploit him.
As she pondered her tactics, Rachel felt a spark of newfound confidence. She understood that Luther’s desperation to save the Seed could be her strongest leverage.
