Time passed.
The big demon didn’t appear in the new timeline, so there was no need to send nuclear jets. However, even though nobody witnessed or knew it, the big demon's pieces circulated the world. After the will of the world deleted the last timeline, Mike's pieces, which were undeletable, were transferred to the new timeline. His pieces were nearly indestructible; a simple timeline deletion did not affect them.
Demons began to appear again, but things were different this time.
In the past, Mike was shattered by force, but this time, he shattered himself voluntarily with a spell. The spell had many restrictions on its use, but once invoked, it allowed him to retain some control over his pieces. Previously, the bloodlines became independent demons, but this time, Mike used his control to keep the demons in check.
His control over them was not perfect, but it was enough to prevent them from running wild and to order them how to interact and act with humans; also, he has the ability to take over an individual demon's body and control it personally.
He knew that if he allowed the demons to fester, the will of the world would probably burn even bigger chunks of the world's foundation to repel them. To actually achieve anything, Mike must find a way to gain control of the will of the world in a non-forceful manner. But doing so would be so difficult that he didn’t know where to start.
His little knowledge about how the world worked was given to him the moment he was transmigrated into this world as the big demon; he called it the big demon's memory inheritance. However, that knowledge was incomplete; there was no way he could hack the world's codes.
"Taking over a world is hard!" Mike sighed and gave up.
If the world consumed too much of its foundation, it might become vulnerable to the chaos outside, which would endanger everyone, including Mike. As a quasi-rank 10, Mike might be able to resist for a few years, but he would eventually fall unless he manages to find a new world, which would be impossible; the universe is vast; worlds are far away from each other, a quasi rank ten might have to travel millions of years before reaching another world; the chaos is no joke; only true rank 10s can resist it; there is no way mike can resist chaos for millions of years.
"Is there chaos outside the world in the endless space?" Mike wondered with doubt, trying to remember the missing pieces of inheritance memory. The memory he gained when he transmigrated told him that there was indeed chaos outside the world. He thought carefully and felt he was missing some critical pieces of this memory.
"Maybe someone cleared the chaos?" He shook his head. Who could be strong enough to clear the chaos? He must be mistaken. The chaos in the endless space is everywhere; no one should be able to remove them.
"The first thing I should focus on is recovering the inheritance memory of the big demonic body," he thought.
He inherited all of the memory, but for some reason, he forgot most of it; it was as if his brain received it but sealed some parts to protect his sanity.
All the divine spells he knew, his skills, his knowledge about transmigration, and how the world works are all from the memory inheritance.
"The inheritance contains some very high-level knowledge; maybe my brain and soul sealed them because I could not comprehend them," he thought. For now, he aimed to get smarter, hoping the inheritance memory would unlock by itself; without it, he had no chance of hacking the world's codes.

More and more demons, even some demon kings, continued appearing in the world, but under Mike's strict supervision, they didn’t start attacking and eating humans. Instead, they acted peacefully, helping and saving humans in need, trying to win public support.

Having been human in his past life, Mike understood the importance of physical appearance. If a demon with a terrifying appearance tried saving humans, no matter how impressive its actions, it would end up as a villain.
Therefore, as his first act, before anyone even saw a single demon, he cast a mass transfiguration spell on all demons, changing their shape from terrifying monsters into beautiful humanoids with slender wings. They were so thin and delicate that nobody thought they could harm a chicken.
These beautiful creatures flew in the sky, helped grandmothers cross the street, gave lollipops to young schoolchildren, and saved those in distress. They quickly became extremely popular, to the point where even the government didn’t try to capture and experiment on them publicly. Of course, the government secretly tried to capture some but failed. Even though they looked weak, they were actually very strong.
The demons seamlessly integrated into human society without causing any harm. This not only didn’t anger the will of heaven but actually pleased it.
"The will of heaven isn’t evil; it only seeks to protect the world. Maybe this was all a misunderstanding?" Mike sighed.
He harbored a lot of resentment toward the will of heaven; it shattered him to pieces time and time again, and all of that for no reason at all. When he first transmigrated into this world, he was confused, mostly thinking about whether the world was tiny or if he was enormous; he was clueless and had no ill intention. The will of heaven attacked him and started everything.
"Maybe I shouldn’t swallow the world!" he thought. Billions of people were living peacefully, in harmony with himself; it was a lovely scene to behold.
He put these thoughts aside and started meditating, trying to unlock the sealed memories; whether he does in the future is best left to later; he first has to unlock the missing memories before deciding anything else.

Time passed; in the blink of an eye, 1,000 years passed.
Technology was at its peak in the modern era, with the internet and an elementary form of AI available. The UFKS's political situation significantly improved, and people lived freely, much more than before.
Public sentiment was generally highly positive; the most important reason for such a high level of positivity was the existence of angels.
Angels appeared out of nowhere around 1,000 years ago. At first, there were some conspiracy theorists who didn’t trust them or labeled them as demons. They claimed the angels were actually demons in disguise, trying to earn favor to turn on them eventually. Of course, those conspiracy theorists were not taken seriously.
But even those few skeptics gradually changed their minds or simply shut their minds, not daring to speak. The reason was simple: the angels were too good. There was a famous case of an angel saving a mountain climber from a falling rock, only to be hit and killed. All of it was caught on camera and spread widely on the internet. Everyone was saddened. From that day on, anyone who doubted the origin of angels had better keep their mouth shut. Otherwise, their lives might be in danger.
It wasn’t the government targeting the angel haters but the ordinary people themselves. Everyone loved the angels so much that they might even get physical with anyone who dared to doubt them.
Gradually, smaller angels in the shapes of dogs and cats and other pet-like appearances with thin wings began to appear; they became extremely popular as soon as they appeared. They were much more intelligent, more powerful, hundreds of times more useful, and thousands of times more kind than ordinary pets. Ordinary dogs, cats, and other pets gradually went extinct; nowadays, everyone has their own pet angel.
The population of the world in its entirety was around 8 billion, and the population of angels, all added together, was around 10 billion!
Initially, The government resisted angels, but eventually, even the president bought his pet angel. Nowadays, having a pet angel is basically a necessity; if someone doesn’t have one, they might be seen as anti-angel.
...
Mike slowly opened his eyes.
"Finally!" he sighed. It took a thousand years, but he finally knew how to swallow the world.
"With so many of my pieces worldwide, swallowing the world using this technique would be easy, but I just don’t feel right doing it!" He shook his head.
His technique allowed him to swallow the world with all that was in it; that meant all the humans would be killed.
"I used to be a bad person in my last life, but I really don’t want to do it this time. At least I should find a way to keep the people safe," he thought.
The angels had been living with people for so many years; as the controller of the angels, he had been receiving memories of humans living peacefully with angels for a long time. Since coming to this world, he had not been an emotionless person and was affected by those scenes.
